For 13 weeks, Project: Freshman will showcase the lives of these three teens from different parts of the country, as they begin their first semester away from home.
- Turner Sports President, Dr. Harvey Schiller recently removed Eric Bischoff as the President of WCW. A move that has swayed the balance of power back to WCW in the war with the nWo. In the midst of all of the chaos with Bischoff's ousting, a main event of epic proportions was named for the upcoming WCW Uncensored 1997 event. A three team battle royal elimination match. Three teams with three different agendas and goals. Team WCW consists of Lex Luger, The Giant, and The Steiner Brothers. If Team WCW wins, the nWo must return all of the WCW Championships they have and will be forced off of WCW Television for 18 months. Team Piper consists of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and 4 Horsemen members: Jeff Jarrett, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, and Jeff Jarrett. If Team Piper wins, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper gets Hollywood Hogan in a cage match. Team nWo consists of Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Randy "Macho Man" Savage. If Team nWo wins, the nWo gets the right to challenge for any WCW Championship anytime they choose. While Bischoff's removal from power was a negative for the New World Order, they aren't letting that stop them by announcing that NBA Bad Boy, Dennis Rodman would appear at WCW Uncensored as the newest member of the nWo. The stakes are high, only one team can survive! Which will it be and what will "Rod the Bod" do?
- This year's Great American Bash is going to be just that, a bash taking place in the heartland of America. The event this year is headlined by three grudge matches. Diamond Dallas Page got the win over Randy Savage two months prior at WCW Spring Stampede, now Savage wants revenge in a lights out match. Who will win Page-Savage II? In other action, Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper will unite and attempt to take down the nWo's heart by challenging The Outsiders for the WCW Tag Team Championship. Syxx will be in the Outsider's corner, but will he be enough to keep down the veterans of the sport? The third grudge match that will be settled in Moline on June 15th will be a WCW Women's Championship Match between Japan Legend, Akiro Hokuto with the devious Sonny Onoo in her corner going up against Madusa. The Great American Bash is one of the most historic events in pro wrestling, and one thing is for sure, that tradition will continue in Moline!
- The owner of a large house tells Tom he's going away for a while, the house is in perfect shape, and that he doesn't want Tom blaming "the mouse" (who's a family pet, in a cage) this time. Of course, this means Tom will spend most of the picture chasing Jerry around the house, causing extensive damage. Among the sequences: Jerry shoves Tom into a VCR, then shelves the resulting cassette-sized cat; Tom traps Jerry in a coffeemaker; Jerry traps Tom in a refrigerator, and he comes out again in ice cubes; Jerry sucks Tom and half the living room into a vacuum cleaner; Tom chases Jerry through the yard and into the house on a riding lawn mower. At the end, he crashes the mower into his owner's returning car, and is told he makes a better hood ornament than a house cat.
- SuperBrawl is usually one of WCW's biggest PPV's of the year. This year, SuperBrawl takes place at the legendary Cow Palace in San Francisco, California. Hollywood Hogan and the new World order are running rampant through World Championship Wrestling. However, this is a night WCW Superstars are fighting back against the renegade faction. The WCW Executive Board has named "Rowdy" Roddy Piper the number one contender for Hollywood Hogan's World Heavyweight Championship. Can Piper beat Hogan one more time, only this time for the most coveted title in professional wrestling? The Giant and Lex Luger battle the nWo's Outsiders for the WCW Tag Team Championship. The catch is that WCW President Eric Bischoff has refused to allow Luger to participate in the match due to him not having a medical release in time. Bischoff is forcing The Giant to take on both Outsiders by himself for the WCW Tag Team Championship. Can The Giant pull through for World Championship Wrestling and all of its fans? The other headline match on the card is a San Francisco Death Match between Kevin Sullivan and Chris Benoit. Not only will it be a Death Match, but Woman and Jacqueline will be strapped together at ringside bound by a leather strap. Don't miss WCW SuperBrawl VII!

- Just one week removed from the historic 3 Hour 100th Episode of WCW Monday Nitro Spectacular, World Championship Wrestling and the New World Order head Road Wild in Sturgis, SD. This time, WCW has the wheels turning and the momentum on their side against the nWo. On the 100th Nitro, "The Total Package" Lex Luger shocked the world be defeating Hollywood Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and bringing the belt back home. When Nitro left airwaves last week, Luger and WCW were celebrating, while the nWo was in total disarray. At Road Wild, Luger will defend the belt against the man he took the belt from five days earlier, Hollywood Hogan. That wasn't the only bad news for the nWo that came out of the 100th Nitro. The financial benefactor for the nWo, Ted DiBiase, re-emerged after a brief absence but only to resign from the nWo and align himself with the Steiner Brothers. Now, the Steiners are challenging the Outsiders at Road Wild for the WCW Tag Team Championship with the Outsiders' former manager in their corner! Syxx and "Nature Boy" Ric Flair have been battling for months now, but it's time for them to finally face each other in the ring, one on one. Can Flair stand for the tradition of World Championship Wrestling and take care of the nWo punk, or will he fall victim to Syxx's Buzzkiller? Curt Hennig and Diamond Dallas Page were supposed to be partners, going into WCW Bash at the Beach, but something went wrong. Now the former teammates will battle in Sturgis. All of that action plus much more will occur in Sturgis as World Championship Wrestling presents Road Wild 1997.
- Tradition battles the New World Order at Slamboree 1997. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair returns to the ring in his home town of Charlotte, NC. Flair has been out of action for nine months, but finally he has returned to World Championship Wrestling to aid in the battle against the nWo. Flair will not be alone, as he will team with fellow legend, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Carolina Panthers own Kevin Greene. The trio will battle the nWo's anti-tradition unit of Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Syxx. Kevin Greene isn't the only NFL star stepping off of the grid iron and stepping into the ring at Slamboree. Green Bay's own Reggie White will also step into the ring against his long time NFL rival, Steve "Mongo" McMichael. Will the nWo reign once again or will tradition live on at Slamboree?
- The 61st Annual Mother Goose Parade in San Diego County's City of El Cajon, had stunning visual effects from a fly over, to confetti canons, to beautiful award winning floats, colorful balloons, regal equestrian teams and entertaining marching bands. Themed "California Dreaming" with "High School Musical" teen superstar Corbin Bleu as grand marshal, and "CHiPs" hero Erik Estrada as Honorary Grand Marshal, the parade was host to over 30 major film and television celebrities and 1/2 a million visitors!
- A show of classical music, which includes "What's Opera, Doc?", "The Rabbit of Seville," "Baton Bunny," and footage of Sylvester's "tra-la-la" number from Season 1, Show 14 of The Bugs Bunny Show. New material includes Daffy and Porky's version of The William Tell Overture and audience members Mr. Meek, the Three Bears, and Sam and Granny swatting at the "Baton Bunny" fly.
- In this low-budget crime drama a convict gets paroled and does his best to start a new life with his wife. He doesn't have much room to stray because a hard-as-nails detective, who despises all crooks and does not believe they can ever reform, keeps a close eye upon him. The trouble for the ex-con begins when three former prison mates bust out of San Quentin and head for his home where they want to hide out. One of the fugitives is a dangerous criminal and the ex-con fears for his wife and so agrees to hide them. Later the fugitives go too far when they try to force the hero into helping them rob a bank.
