- Based on the novel by Prosper Merimee, CARMEN is the classic tale of forbidden passion between a young man (Leonardo Sbaraglia) and a spoken-for woman, Carmen (Paz Vega). It is told in flashback as the young soldier, stripped of his decorations, explains all in a prison cell. He tells of the love he had for Carmen and how it proved to be destructive.
- Her name is Mina, but she is called Bambola (Doll). Upon her mother's death, she and her homosexual brother Flavio open a pizzeria. A man named Ugo loans Bambola the money, but is then killed in a fight with another boyfriend of hers, Settimio. While visiting him in jail, she meets sadistic Furio and they begin a relationship.

As Julia's stalker closes in, she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown, then becomes almost serene. Leading the investigation is a police comisario who's eyes are covered as he awaits the completion of treatment. Will we see the murderer?
- "Ana y los 7" narrates the life and the illusions of Ana, a showgirl who is employed at a club by night, who dreams of being employed in the world of showbusiness and turning into a star of the cinematographic universe. She spent her infancy in an orphanage, never knew anything about her family, and looks forward to forming her own. She gets a day job at banker Fernando Hidalgo's house tending his seven children: Carolina, Nando, Amalia, Celia, Guille, Ale, and Lucía; and secretly keeps her night job at the club.
