- In Beirut, a doctor (Carlos Chahine) develops links to the victims of an alleged serial killer, only to start to exhibit disturbing symptoms of his own.
- La Maison Rose (The Pink House) is an old mansion in Beirut. It is the place where the Nawfal family found shelter during the Civil War and in which they feel good. Unfortunately for them, their immediate environment is rapidly changing as many of the old shell-ridden buildings are torn down to be replaced by new construction projects. When Mattar, the owner of the Pink House, decides to sell it to make room for a large commercial center, the residents of the neighborhood become divided between the shopkeepers and businessmen in favor of modernity and the families being evicted against the project for sentimental reasons.
- After the end of the civil war, while reconstruction is booming, the city of Beirut decides to install the famous symbol of respect and order: THE TRAFFIC LIGHT. Hanna takes his family on a ride to test out the light and there he faces a new challenge: the thing that was invented to protect is becoming a source of harm and pain, even on a national scale. Hanna will have to come to term with the light.
- A chronicle of anxiety, a chronicle of violence, stories of departure, stories of defeat, and in the middle of the chaos, music and cinema. Vulnerable is my chronicle of Lebanon between 2006 and 2008. During three years I filmed inside my intimate space, on the TV screen, a daily violence, and on the editing screen, another film that remains suspended a film on the July 2006 war. I also filmed my friends; those who left the country and those who remained. All along, many questions arisen: what space is left for the individuals freedom, for hope, creativity and love? Is it possible for personal happiness to exist amidst collective pain? How can we live with the defeat? (by Reine Mitri)
