Our hero jumps to wild conclusions when he learns the city plans on trimming the trees on city streets. Heathcliff spreads the news to the neighborhood pets and kids that the trees are going to be chopped down. Soon the kids and pets have mobilized into protest, blocking the path of the city workers. Things quickly escalate out of hand with riot police and helicopters being called in. The mayor finally negotiates an agreement to allow Heathcliff to personally supervise the trimming of the trees, and the crisis passes. / Hector is hired as bodyguard to Monty Manx - star of stage and screen - and gets a case of cat food as pay. Riff Raff works out a scam with Hector: Riff Raff will threaten Monty and Hector will save the day. They earn a lot of fish until Monty catches on and hires some real bodyguards!

Mungo overhears Mangle's plans to destroy the junkyard then buy it cheap. The Cats make hasty plans to defend their home, but Mangle's forces are overwhelming. It looks like all is lost until Mungo brings his Super-Cat on the scene to drive them away.

It's gotten so bad that every time Grandpa puts down the phone, it rings again - and somebody else complains. So, the Nutmegs take Heathcliff to a "Shrink" -- the famous Dr. Hans Headfixer. After a few sessions, Heathcliff's cured all right. In fact, he's not the same cat. He's docile...serene...kind of stupid-acting actually. It doesn't take long for the Alley Cats and Spike to begin to take advantage. At last, THEY can terrorize HEATHCLIFF. The Nutmeg aren't exactly happy with the 'new' Heathcliff, and the whole matter magnifies when a burglar comes calling. Heathcliff actually helps the intruder out. BUT - finally - a twist of fate brings our old friend, the REAL Heathcliff back / Mungo looks into the garbage can in Screwloose's painting and literally falls into the painting. Not realizing this, Hector adds a lid to the can trapping Mungo inside. Rex Snob, the art critic loves it and Screwloose arranges for the painting to be taken to the art gallery before heading out on a ten year world exhibit. Riff Raff swipes it and puts his imagination to work to get Mungo out.

Gradually, Heathcliff undergoes a startling transformation which includes barking at trucks and passing up fish in favor of bones. Worst of all, he finds himself feeling friendly toward Spike. Heathcliff eventually sets things straight by taking a massive dose of cat vitamins, with Iggy's help. / The cats put a new engine into the Catillac not realizing it is a time machine engine of Professor Craziloon. Before they know it they're back in the old West. After a few close calls with some rough and tough characters and a wild stagecoach chase in pursuit of their stolen caddy, they get the car back in the nick of time to be transported back to the future.
- 1984–198722mTV-Y76.0 (10)TV EpisodeWhen Mugsy is bragging to the neighborhood kids about how tough Spike is, Heathcliff makes an appearance and proceeds to beat up on the hapless pooch. Mugsy's had enough. He kicks Spike out of his life. With nowhere left to go, Spike hits the streets. It's not an easy life for a dog who's known only living in a home. Spike has a hard time when he runs up against dogs who live in the alleys. He can't even get himself picked up by the dogcatcher, in hopes of finding a new master. Things take a turn in Spike's favor, however, when Heathcliff and Iggy see him. Heathcliff delights in Spike's plight, but Iggy feels sad for him, offering to take him in. Heathcliff, of course, is horrified. With Spike living in the Nutmeg household, Heathcliff's life is turned topsy-turvy. Everything from sleeping to eating dinner is a nightmare for Heathcliff, who has the lumbering Spike to contend with. Desperate to get rid of him, Heathcliff hatches a plot. He sets up a situation where Mugsy will be able to see Spike beat up on Heathcliff. It isn't easy to goad Spike into a fight, but he finally succeeds and Mugsy witnesses it. Proud of his dog, Mugsy takes him back, much to Heathcliff's relief. / Mungo sees the feline of his dreams, Lulu, (who looks just like him), but doesn't know how to ask her out. Everyone has advice - play hard to get; be athletic; act like a rock star; etc, etc. Lulu is intrigued but thinks he's mixed up. Nothing works until Lulu suggests she'd love to go out with the real Mungo which is a great relief to him!
- 1984–198722mTV-Y77.7 (11)TV EpisodeHeathcliff shows up at Sonja's place to take her out for their anniversary. In turn, each of them recants the story of their first date. Heathcliff's memory is filled with gallantry and expensive restaurants. Sonja remembers it quite a different way. In the end, Heathcliff points out that what's important is that he did remember it was their anniversary. Sonja counters, telling him their anniversary isn't until tomorrow...and that's when he can take her out exactly the way he recalls that first date as having been! / If Runt can beat Mungo in just one Catlympic event, Riff Raff must give up control of the junkyard; but if Mungo wins, the Catillac Cats get all of Louie's cat food. Mungo wins easily despite the opposition's tricks, until the boxing match where Runt appears to be much bigger. Mungo does his best against his awesome opponent, but it looks like he'll lose the match until Riff Raff discovers the boxer isn't Runt. Mungo wins and the fish is delicious!
- 1984–198722mTV-Y77.0 (10)TV EpisodeWhile laid up with a broken leg, Heathcliff thinks he has witnessed the dog napping of Spike. He sends the Alley Cats on a detecting misadventure. Finally he takes the investigation into his own paws, but the Alley Cats leave him dangling. Spike returns and sends Heathcliff flying - to another broken leg. / Raiding a sushi bar, the Catillac Cats come up against the ninja cat-watcher and are soundly beaten and thrown out. Riff Raff challenges the ninja cat to a meeting in the junkyard and trains to be a ninja himself, but is again soundly beaten. After reverting to junkyard cat rules, the ninja has a taste of defeat.
