- One day Akio receives a strange letter from a woman named Sachi. It turns out that the letter was a response to a joke wish he hung up at a Shinto shrine months earlier. Then one day, Sachi shows up and the two begin a relationship.
- Ken loves exotic dances and the grace that comes with them. He is travelling the four corners of the world, but it is on the southern Japanese island of Okinawa where he meets olden Ryukyu (Okinawan) dance specialist Iwao Shinjo and is hooked. Ken begins to be instructed in the ways of the dance, which lead to the art of Ryukyu karate.

- A young Taiwanese actress (Meiling), who is travelling alone for the first time encounters a series of bad luck while on vacation on Okinawa island. Things go from bad to worse when she arrives at a 'luxury hotel' that turns out to be little more than a shack, but is there something - or someone worth staying for?
