- In the dark Middle Ages, villagers gather at the abyss where six women convicted of witchcraft are to be executed. But something unexpected is going to happen.
- Through the narration of seven facets featuring seven different characters, Chriss admits his schizophrenia and anguish while at the same time engaging in his own self-criticism. By turns consumer, naive, selfish, robot, capricious, hypocritical and voyeuristic, he will have to make a choice to free himself from his identity crisis, a crisis that will prove to be a perfect mirror of our society.
- This is southern Aveyron, the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park, with its arid, windswept limestone plateau, fertile valleys, cereal-growing land, narrow, winding roads and the A75 motorway bisecting the area. The light, which accentuates the ocher of the stones and the Grey of the slate roofs, is full of contrasts. This fabulous playground is particularly popular with extreme sports enthusiasts and lovers of wild beauty. But outside the summer months, why stay here, and why and how should you live here? Fifteen women aged between 11 and 95 tell us all about it. Some were born here, others moved here. What have their lives been like? What kind of lives can be reinvented in such a remote rural setting? Living here, why, how, what meaning can be given to this chosen or imposed life? What is the impact of such an environment on these lives? The poignant testimonies of these women sweep away all prejudices.
- Is there room in our everyday lives for dreaming, for imagining something different, for hoping that the characters from the fairy tales of our childhood can finally come out of the books and shake up our conditioned routine? I take characters from the movies and my childhood dreams to create a tale, a dream, where the imagination isn't eaten up by a bank account or an ID card number, I take my life to create another, One where Don Quixote would euphorically carry on tilting at windmills and Peter Pan could teach me to fly. I'm taking my dreams and using them to design a world where reality and fantasy are one, where each of us has a place and can step out of line without being seen as a madman.
