- Tripitaka (Elvin Ng), Monkey God (Kingone Wang), Pigsy (Ian Fang) and Sandy (Steven Chiang) met with a calamity while on their journey to the West, due to Flower Fairy Caiyue's (Julie Tan) mistake. Tripitaka, Pigsy and Sandy died as a result of that. Out of despair, Monkey God swore before dying that he will never forgive Caiyue. Unbeknownst to them, the tragedy was orchestrated by the Nine-Tail Vixen (Ann Kok). Having locked away for a long time, Qi Ming hopes to spend more time with his family and make up for lost time. However, many things have changed and his daughter refuses to acknowledge him. Even so, Qi Ming is not discouraged. Just when Qi Ming is determined stop after his last bet, he wins all that he stakes on and is tempted to make the next gamble. He learns that his son has become a loan shark runner after chocking up heavy debts through soccer bets, his daughter cons others to indulge in luxury goods, his mother cannot peel herself away from a jackpot machine and his wife becomes a hard-core gambler. Can Qi Ming save his family from the evil lures of gambling ? How long can Jian Xing last before his wife finds out ? Who will win this game of life?
