Indian movies or like indian movie

It's not an indian film, but it's a good movie to introduce bollywood atmosphere/movies. The story is an adaptation of Pride and prejudice from Jane Austen but indian version.

The Story : In an indian family, a mother try to marry 3 of her 4 daugthers to rich men. But one (Ashwarya Rai) don't want to marry a man she dislike. The first daughter agree and the third is stupid.

Aish family and sisters met guys at a wedding, they're dance like in indian movies boys against girls... Ash met an american William Darcy, her sister an indian, ... but there is pride and prejudices between them. WD made mistake and don't understant the girl and her family and Ash is blind by her pride... Her sister fell in love with the Indian guys but didn't show him her feelings, WD convince him she wasn't good for her...

Mister Coli came from Los Angeles, indian who succeed in the United States. He want to marry one of the girls from Ash family, particularly Ash herself. She refused so he proposed to her best friends.

Another american came, Wickham he was introduce to the family. Ash fell in love with him but he wasn't a good guy, he seduced her sister Lalita (stupid girl).

When the mother and three of her daughters were in England, because they're invited to mister Coli wedding, for an escale, Lalita disappear. She was with Wickham.

Ash and Co(sisters and mothers) have met DW in the airplane and he cames to help her find her sister.

DW know from the start that W was a jerk because he try to be with his sister when she was only fifteen.

The songs and dance are very funny and nice. (My favorite one " Lonely mister Coli from Los Angeles he has no life without wife lalalalala")

Rahul and Anjali are bestfriend in highschool. They play together. Another girl came in their life and disturb everything. Rahul fell in love with the other girl. Anjali act like a boy, never wear sari or skirt... and she regrets it because she loves Rahul. She gave up studies and went to dance in temple.

Rahul get married and have a girl named Anjali. Little Anjali received every years a letter from her dead mother, and the last one, give her a mission : to find Anjali for his father.

This movie makes me like indian movies.

If you have to see only one indian movie in your life it might be this one because there's a lot of reference in other bollywood film about this one. We see some extract of the movie in Dostana, in Ra-one...

This story was strange but I like it. It's about revenge, love, ghost... Do you believe in Karma? Om a beginner actor love a well known actress Shanti. Shanti loves her producer Mukesh. She said to him, that she was pregnant. M wasn't happy, he killed her(let her burning in studio). Om saw everything but die the same night in a car accident. Thirty years later, Om is the son of a famous actor. He was famous but he is doing whatever he likes and bad movies. (But we can see SRK muscles) One day, he remembers his mother, and his love for Shanti. He decided to take his revenge on M, and propose him to make a remake of the film he was planning to do with Shanti. The revenge begin... I really like the scene when Shah Rukh Khan explains the story to the murderer.

My advice : see it when you're used to bollywood movies because there is many famous actors in the middle of the movie.

It was a comedy. There is kitsch scene in it. The battle with the stuffed tiger makes me laugh a lot.

Veer is an indian soldier, he saved the life of Zaara a pakistanese girl. Zaara is in India to bury ashes. She makes the travel with Veer who's returning home. They enjoy the travel, and fell in love. But that's impossible love because they are from different country, different religion, and because she's promised to another man. (arranged marriage)

The film begin with SRK in jail in Pakistan for terrorism. A pakistanese girl decide to defend his case, because he's innocent. SRK explain his story to this girl (that's painful to see him in jail like that).

A beautiful film and nice ending. It's rare to have a good ending.

You and Me.

Karan is a cartoonist, his daily comic, named "Hum Tum," explores the battle of stereo-typical behavior. He's inspired by his own life.

He was boy, she was a girl. Karan wasn't serious, Rhea was. He's flirting with every girl, he try to seduce her on a plane. They are always meeting each other everywhere, they discuss, they fight and guess what? haha they fell in love. But there is many things before and after. :D It's about the difference between girls and boys.

The particularity of this movies, there is cartoon in it, there is the movie with the real actors and the scene with the cartoon. That's really a good movie, refreshing for that reason.

A kind of Fast and Furious, mission impossible made in India. An action movie. I really like this one. All the cast was good. Better than Dhoom(1).

The police from Mumbai want to arrest the A-thief. He disguise, use technology to steal things but the policemen decide to trap him.

A mouse and cat game with Hrithik Roshan, Uday Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.

The scene on the train is funny.

A sad story also know as New York Massala. Tomorrow Might Never Come.

Naina is an angry young girl, because her father committed suicide and the restaurant is faltering. She had two best friends Jennifer and her classmate Rohit . A new neighbor Aman arrives in in Naina's neighbourhood and soon changes everything. He give her the joy to live and optimism. She changed a lot and fell in love with him. Meanwhile, her friend Rohit has been in love with her. He want to tell her his feelings but she reveals her love for Aman before. Aman loves her but he can't be in love with her because of his weak heart so he tells her that's already married...

That's a bizarre love triangle story. But Aman sacrify his love for the happiness of the other. Beautiful story.

My name is Khan and I'm not a terrorist. It was a movie about muslims life in the USA after 9/11 but not only. It was the story of a man, who wants to say to the president that he's not a terrorist because of his wife words. And because the little brother of his wife i've been beaten up to death by other kids because of his religion. That man was a genius but he have the Asperger's syndrome. He helps others in danger. It's a movie about tolerance!!!!!

I like the songs and dance. ishq shava, heer, jiya re... The story! Akira! Meera is so stupid!!!!!!!

It's the story of Samar, Meera and Akira.

First, in 2012, Samar is a soldier in India, he defuses bombs. He rescue a girl frow drowning(Akira). Akira is a young journalist (21 years old). Akira wants to film him after reading his "bombs diary". He talks about his love story with Meera.

In 2002, he worked a lot(waiter, musician in the street,...) in London. He fell in love with a girl. She's rich and she prays a lot, makind deals with Lord Jesus or God. Like this "if you fullfil my dreams i will stop smoking". They fell in love [lalala... watch the movie]^w^ And she didn't want to be with him even if she loves him, because she is engaged to another man and because Samar's got a car accident. She thought he is in danger because of her. So they broke up but they are sad and lonely together on their own.

Samar became sad and defy god to kill himself that why he defuse bombs without any protections. Akira want to be with him, she fell in love with him. In order to promote her movie, he has to came back to London.

But he's got a new accident car and forgot (ten years of his life) Meera came back to help him at the request of Akira...

A great film about sport. An old hockey player trains young girls from the indian team in order to win the world champion chip.

One of my favorite moment is when SRK asks the girls "what's your name? where did you come from?" And when they answer by their regions of origin instead of their country, he said "goodbye, I do not want you in the team. Because when you are in a team : First you play for your country and then your team and after for yourself."

SRK working for the NASA. Very funny idea. Nice film.

SRK and his father are in the army, the president was attacked by terrorist. Srk and his father try to save him, but SRK father die.

SRK is an illegitimate child, who came back to school, after his father death, in order to protect the former president daugther and find his step brother and step mother.

Nice movie.

(Dear Guest, When Will You Leave)

When a guest is in your house you must welcome him and to respect him as he was Ganesh (God).

In order to make his son understand his classroom lesson, Ajay Devgan accept a stranger has a guest or uncle in his house. His modern wife can beart it, the guest was just a nightmare, he want to eat a lot,... he disturb their peaceful life... but one day he disapear and everyone search him. Because even if he was a nightmare, he was a nice and joyful guy.

Wiki plot might be better : Chastised by their son, Aayush's Hindi school-teacher for not conversing in the national language, as well as ignoring the relevance of the word 'Atithi', Mumbai-based Bollywood writer, Puneet (Ajay Devgn), and his Architect's Assistant wife, Munmun (Konkona Sen Sharma), go out of their way to welcome an hitherto unknown paternal uncle, Lambodar (Paresh Rawal), from Gorakhpur. Hoping that he will depart soon, the couple find their lives turned upside when he not only refuses to leave but interferes with their professional and personal lives - so much so that Puneet gets fired from his movie project 'Pachaas', and Munmun almost loses her job. The loaded with mayhem ways they try to get Lambodar out of their house leads to hilarious results!

I've seen it on airplane. It was a comedy very funny.

How two guys pretend to be gay, to live in a big place with a beautiful girl. They loved her, but they pretend to be her bestfriends. They tried to seduce her too, but another guy (her new boss) came in the play... Very funny situation. I like the face of the mother (kirron kher) of one of the guy (abishek bachban) when she learned that her son was gay. First kiss of two guys in indian movies... make the conditon of living change for homosexual in India, stop the death penalty against gay. Also known for the desi girl song (quote in Ra-One movie).

I've seen it on theater. A great movie. Very funny. Srk sells candy. He was 40 years old and not married. When his grand father die, he has to throw the ashes in the South of India. He want to go to Goa so he lies to his grand mother. He takes the train. He help a girl ton came in, and fours guys. She's the daugther of the godfather of the South India. Srk try to help her but he's a coward...

SRK in the good guy against the Vilain. It's the story of a maker of video game. He create a super vilain, who's hard to defeat, for his son. But the vilain Ra-One escape the game to kill the player Lucifer (SRK son). Srk pretend to be Lucifer and he's kill by Ra-One. But the hero of the game G-one looks like him and to kill Ra-One. Srk son and Srk collegue, make him escape the game, to protect them and kill Ra-One. I like the matrix effects, the story and all the little wink to other indian movie (Dostana (Desi Girl), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai...) <3 A good film for kids.

The importance of a family. What ever you do, your family will support you and forgive you.

I like Nimbooda song (green lemon song)! I'm not a fan of this movie. I didn't like the first part with Salman Khan, I'd rather like the part with Ajay Devgan. It's a nice bollywood movie.

A ghost story. I'll explain the story even if i'm not a fan of this one.

A ghost fell in love with a women. She gets married with a man obsessed by his money and career. He had to go on business trip for five years. The ghost decided to use the man identity during his absence. When the man came back even his family can recognize him. They decided to asked the king but finally a wise man (shepherd ) anwser the enigm. Who's the real husband?

The first indian movies, I have seen! I don't like it! It's too sad! The first scene with Ash dance was wonderful but the middle of the movie and the end made me cry a lot.

Essentially, it is a retelling of the Krishna, Radha, and Meera myths, the relationships between its three protagonists - Devdas, Parvati, and Chandramukhi - paralleling the Hindu deities'.

Like a Romeo and Juliet Story, forbidden love.

Wikipedia Plot : Devdas is a young man from a wealthy Bengali Brahmin family in India in the early 1900s. Paro (Parvati) is a young woman from a middle class Bengali family belonging to the “merchant” caste. The two families lived in a village in Bengal, and Devdas and Paro were childhood friends. Devdas goes away for thirteen years to live and study in a boarding school in the city of Calcutta (now Kolkata). When, after finishing school, he returns to his village, Paro looks forward to their childhood love blossoming into their lifelong journey together in marriage. Of course, according to the prevailing social custom, Paro's parents would have to approach Devdas' parents and propose marriage of Paro to Devdas as Paro longed for. When Paro's mother makes the proposal to Devdas' mother, the latter insults her, plainly saying that the marriage is not possible in view of her own higher caste and financial status. To demonstrate her own social status, Paro's mother then finds an even richer husband for Paro. When Paro learns of her planned marriage, she stealthily meets Devdas at night, desperately believing that Devdas will quickly accept her hand in marriage. Devdas meekly seeks his parents' permission to marry Paro, but Devdas' father agrees with his wife...

“ Nice indian action movie. ” - agrume

Ash, SRK et Amitabh a great casting. Weird story abour forbidden love. There's a parallele between SRK life as student and his student life when he was teacher. He obtains what he want in the end (more freedom and leisure for students) but it was to late to save his love.

I've seen it been a huge hazard. I turn on Zee tv on saturday, and I discover this movie. Beautiful movie, makes me like the main character.

A complicate love story with some nice songs and dances. I really like the madhuri dixit dance when SRK play music.

Forbidden love again? ^w^ It's just that SRk made a very bad impression on the girl father. He has to fight to be love by the girl and to be accept by her father.

Too modern. Srk has got a tiny role in it. He appears in the middle of the movie. A bride change to regain the attention of her future husband.

To look just for the hot actor. XD (Hrithik Roshan) An Indian film history. Cool.

In the movie, a girl was raped and killed by a politician and the father of the girl want to take revenge for what happen to his daughter. He shot the politician and he's arrest as a terrorist.

It's a beautiful movie. I like the silent march on the day of the execution, when all the indian, behind the national flag of India, fight for justice and truth. (and against the death penalty)

The sad life of a courtesan. Beautiful story, costumes and dances.

I was very disapointed by this one. I expected a better movie than that from two actors i really like. I've read good critics about it. It's a story about two lovers, how they meet, and their life as husband and wife .

Weird again? The story of a woman in love with another man than her husband. It's about infidelity and widow in India. It comes from a book. It's one of the first film of Ash.
