Jake Zyrus (known as Charice Pempengco prior to his gender transition) was born in Cabuyao, Philippines. When he was three years old, he witnessed his abusive father point a gun at his mom during an episode of domestic violence. Along with his mother and younger brother Carl, they left their father searching for a better life.
Zyrus was very young when his mother noted that his rendition of Happy Birthday was very high-pitched and on-key. When he was four years old, his mother Raquel came home to discover Zyrus standing on top of the kitchen table singing Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On. She initially thought the radio was on, and Celine was singing. Zyrus had learned to operate the karaoke machine by observing his mother, who was a singer in a band, practice with her bandmates. It was then that Zyrus' singing talent was discovered.
At the age of seven, with money hard to come by and with little food to put on the table, Zyrus urged his mother to teach him how to sing and let him join singing contests to help support their family. He went around the provinces of Laguna and Batangas, entering amateur singing contests in town fiestas and later, on little known shows on television. He started winning most of the competitions he joined, often borrowing money from friends and neighbors for the bus fare and then paying them back after winning. He estimates he joined 80-100 singing contests all in all.
In 2005 when he was twelve years old, he joined Little Big Star, a singing contest for children on TV network ABS-CBN, loosely patterned after American Idol. He was eliminated after the first round but was called back as a wild card contestant later on in the show. From there, he was a consistent top scorer in the elimination rounds but only wound up as a third placer in the finals due to low text votes. Dejected as he was counting on winning the grand prize of P1 million pesos ($20,000) for his family, he wanted to give up on singing. He made minor appearances on TV shortly after Little Big Star, dancing backup and singing in the background on variety shows, but he had fallen off the radar. He eventually decided to give it all up and return to regular schooling.
Little did he know that David Dueñas (a.k.a FalseVoice), a fan of him, was so in awe of his powerful vocals and performances on Little Big Star that he started uploading them on YouTube. His videos were racking up millions of hits online, and one of his videos caught the eye of StarKing, a Korean variety show. In 2007, StarKing invited then 15-year old Zyrus to come to South Korea to perform. Dressed in pink and wearing pigtails, Zyrus blew the roof off the set as he performed a hair-raising and powerful rendition of And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going from the Dreamgirls soundtrack. The studio audience was floored to hear such a big voice coming out of such a small child.
The video of that StarKing performance went viral on YouTube, garnering millions of views until the producers of The Ellen Degeneres Show took notice. Ellen aired an on-air invitation for Zyrus to come to her show. A month later, in December 2007, Zyrus and his mother flew to America for the first time to appear on the show, where Zyrus sang And I Am Telling You and Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You. The audience was blown away, giving Zyrus the first two standing ovations she had ever received in his life. Zyrus went home to the Philippines, an instant celebrity.
In May 2008, Zyrus was invited to guest on Oprah, for a themed show called World's Smartest Kids. He sang "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston and bought the audience to their feet, giving him another standing ovation. No one was more impressed than Oprah Winfrey herself, though, incredulously asking him, "Girl, that was fantastic! Who are you?!"
The next day, Charice and his mother were already on a plane waiting to take off for the Philippines when Oprah called to stop the plane and bring them back to her office. Oprah had been so impressed with the child and couldn't get him off her mind. Oprah listened to Zyrus' story and told him, "Don't lose hope. I promise you something big will happen." She then called legendary music producer David Foster who took Zyrus on under his wing.
Zyrus, as David Foster's protégé, suddenly found himself singing duets with Andrea Bocelli in Italy and with his idol Celine Dion in Madison Square Garden. He also shared the stage with other big names such as Michael Buble and Josh Groban. He performed at three of President Barack Obama's pre-inauguration galas and made a cameo appearance as himself in 2009's Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. He also appeared on the Oprah show three more times after his initial appearance, the most recent one being last May 11, 2010, a day after his 18th birthday, to debut his international album CHARICE. His single Pyramid with singer Iyaz topped the Billboard Dance chart at #1. During its first week, his album sales landed him in the #8 spot on the US Billboard Hot 200 chart, making him the first-ever Asian artist in history to enter the Billboard top 10.
In June 2010, it was announced that Zyrus landed a recurring guest role on the hit TV series Glee, playing the character of Sunshine Corazon, a Filipino foreign exchange student to rival actress Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry.- Actress

Neile Adams was born in Manila, the Philippine Islands on July 10, 1932 as María Ruby Neilam Arrastia y Salvador of Eurasian descent as her DNA attests. Her bloodline, to clarify erroneous reports, consists of 26% mixture of Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian, 7% Polynesian and 67% Spanish Basque and English, although her maternal grandmother's name was changed from Sulse to Schultz when that family emigrated to Spain from Germany. She spent WW2 in Japanese-occupied Manila, came to America in 1948, graduated high school the following year from Rosemary Hall (now Choate Rosemary Hall) in Greenwich, Connecticut and immediately went to New York to study dancing where she got a scholarship at the Katherine Dunham School of Dance. To ward off being cast exclusively as a "señorita" or in just plain old Spanish-speaking parts because of her name, her mother claimed Adams was her father's middle name. Never having seen nor met her father she soon became Neile Adams.
In 1953, she was cast as a dancer in "Kismet" and shortly became one of the lead dancers in the show. When the show closed in 1955 she was offered a showy role in the Versailles Nightclub where George Abbott and Bob Fosse caught her performance and offered her the Carol Haney role in "The Pajama Game" just as soon as her contract ended with the club. To meet both deadlines she performed at night and rehearsed during the day. She met Steve McQueen shortly thereafter and married four months after their formal introduction. The couple had two children, Terry McQueen (born 1959) and Chad McQueen (born 1960). The marriage legally ended in 1972. Neile is the grandmother of actor Steven R. McQueen. She remarried in 1980 to Alvin Toffel, a political campaign manager and president of the Norton Simon Museum. This union lasted until Toffel's passing in 2005.
Broadway credits: featured dancer in "Kismet", starred in "Pajama Game" opposite John Raitt and Julie Wilson, and Broadway-bound "At The Grand" opposite Paul Muni. She married McQueen while filming MGM's This Could Be the Night (1957) when she was under contract. Adams opened the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas in 1958 with Dick Shawn and Vivian Blaine. Television revues later became her main staple as she raised her family. She appeared on such programs as Perry Como's Kraft Music Hall (1948), The Bob Hope Show (1950), The Pat Boone-Chevy Showroom (1957), The Patrice Munsel Show (1956), The Eddie Fisher Show (1957) and The Walter Winchell Show (1956), among others. She played opposite McQueen and villainous Peter Lorre on a macabre episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955) and starred in two other Hitchcock episodes. In the '60s and '70s she guest-starred in almost all the popular dramatic shows, such as The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964), Vega$ (1978), Fantasy Island (1977), The Rockford Files (1974), The Bionic Woman (1976) and Love, American Style (1969), to name a few. On film, she played Burt Reynolds' wife in Fuzz (1972), was directed by Billy Wilder in Buddy Buddy (1981) and appeared in Chu Chu and the Philly Flash (1981). Adams continues to perform her cabaret shows in L.A., New York, London and Paris.- Actress

Ashley Spencer Taylor Villegas Argota-Torres (or as she refers to as "the longest name ever") started acting at five years old. She appeared in multiple television shows including "The Division", "MAD TV", "The Wayne Brady Show", and "The Shield". At only 10 years old, she became the youngest performer ever to win five times in a row at "Amateur Night at the Apollo", which led to her becoming a Star of Tomorrow at "Showtime At The Apollo". At 11 years old, she toured in Disney's hit Broadway musical, "The Lion King", as Young Nala. She was also a semi-finalist on the Arsenio Hall hosted "Star Search" in 2003, where Ben Stein commented, "This girl has the best stage presence out of any young performer I've ever seen."
Shortly after guest starring on Nickelodeon's "iCarly", Ashley starred as the loyal, quirky, fun-loving assistant, Lulu, on the hit Nickelodeon show "True Jackson, VP". The show ran for three seasons. Directly after filming that show, she booked her second starring role in another Nickelodeon show where she played Kelly in "Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures". After filming, she briefly attended her dream school, New York University, before returning to Los Angeles for work. As soon as she came home, Ashley worked on her debut album with songwriter Rebekah White. Her debut single, Limitless, is available on all digital platforms.
Ashley was also fortunate enough to return to her first love, musical theater, in the Lythgoe Family musical production of "Aladdin and His Winter Wish" as Princess Jasmine alongside Ben Vereen and Bruce Vilanch. After that, she filmed a recurring role on Disney XD's number one show, "Lab Rats", where she played the evil bionic soldier, S-1. Her Disney Channel Original Movie, "How To Build A Better Boy", premiered shortly after that to 4.6 million viewers, and became the number one event on the Watch Disney Channel App, with one million people tuning in before the premiere.
After shooting small spots on Freeform's "Chasing Life" and NBC's pilot "Cabot College", produced by Tina Fey, Ashley recurred on Freeform's "The Fosters" as Lou, the lead singer of the band Someone's Little Sister. Due to the amount of fans asking for the music they heard Ashley performing in multiple episodes, Freeform surprised fans (and Ashley!) by releasing a "Someone's Little Sister EP", which included the four songs she sang on the show in her first season. The EP shot to number 18 on the iTunes Alternative chart and broke the Top 100 on the iTunes overall chart.
In between filming more television shows (such as Disney's "Girl Meets World", a series regular role as Abigail on "Liberty Crossing") and films (Sony Pictures "The Cover Versions" as Amber), Ashley has starred in many live stage productions in Los Angeles. For four years, she originated and played the role of Juliet in the Bradley Bredeweg/Rockwell Table and Stage production of "Romeo & Juliet: Love Is A Battlefield" (now known as "Invincible"), a modern take on the classic story of Romeo & Juliet, set to the epic anthems of Pat Benatar. She has also starred in multiple productions at Rockwell Table and Stage in their "Unauthorized Musical Parody" series, playing Regina George in "UMPO: Mean Girls", Allison in "UMPO: Hocus Pocus", Becca in "UMPO: Bridesmaids", Biana Stratford in "UMPO: 10 Things I Hate About You", and Cher Horowitz in "UMPO: Clueless".
In 2019, Ashley and her husband, Mick, started Mismo Productions and released their podcast, also named "Mismo". They interview creatives about their day to day lives in the business to show everyone that no matter where someone is in their careers, we are all uniquely the same-- we're all Mismo. The podcast is has more than 16,000 listens. Mismo Productions also released their first short film, "The Last Flight", a parody of the Michael Jordan documentary, "The Last Dance". It was directed, produced, and edited by Ashley and written by, produced by, and starring Mick. More information about Mismo can be found here.
Ashley often teaches acting classes at Actors Giving Back in Los Angeles, CA and is on the Advisory Committee for The Actor's Fund's "Looking Ahead Program". She is also Taco Bell's number one fan.- Composer

Having been in many bands throughout high school, MiG (aka Miguel Ayesa) started his professional performing career as an actor in a pilot for the TV series Mission:Top Secret. His next job was to play 'Ritchie Valens' in Buddy... The Buddy Holly Story which took him not only all around Australia but to London where he performed at The Royal Variety Performance for Queen Elizabeth 2 and Prince Phillip, as well as entertaining Princess Diana and her two very young boy Princes. MiG continued a string of roles on many stage shows and tours, but it was when he moved back to London that things really started to take off. However his talents caught the attention of the casting agent for a new Cbs Tv show that was looking for a new frontman for Aussie super group Inxs. MiG was flown to Los Angeles where he fought it out with the other finalists to make it to the final, where he came in third in the world-wide competition. MiG was quickly signed by Decca/Universal Music Group and his self-titled debut Cd was released in the USA, Canada, Australia, Philippines and New Zealand in 2007. In September 2010, MiG opened the 1st National Tour of Rock Of Ages, as the legendary rocker 'Stacee Jaxx'. Joy made her feature film debut in a movie called, what else, The Debut. The film is one of the first Filipino American stories to be told on the big screen and was filmed in 1997. In the movie she plays Annabelle Manalo, the love interest to Dante Basco's Ben. Joy enjoyed working opposite Dante, because Dante is an inspiration to Filipino Americans, and she knows Dante's earlier work in Hook. Joy was in a club promoting for a friend, that's where the casting people found her for The Debut. After the Debut, she had a small role in Ghost World as part of 3 rappers at the high school graduation early in the film (she played the Asian rapper Jade). She was then cast in 2001 as Ashley in Not Another Teen Movie, a parody of various teen movies from the 80s/90s/2000. Her role of Ashley is a parody of the Asian cheerleader in Bring It On played by Nicole Bilderback. Joy then decided to try television and she was cast as Casey Leong(a ghost character who returned) in the General Hospital spin off Port Charles. She then played Casey's twin sister Marisa. This time this role was permanent and she was featured in the opening credits. Joy then played Casey again for while before the show got canceled. Joy did the narration of the amateur independent movie called Lumpia. This was made in 1996 before The Debut.- Actress

This young artist at 18 years old is set to change the face of pop and urban music, or rather bring to it a new face. Of Filipino, Native American and Caucasian descent, Asia stands out as not only one of the only Asian solo female artists on a major record label, but as a high energy performance-driven artist with infectious vocals and hit songs already making an impact and gaining fans across the world.
Signed to A&R executive and hitmaker Mickey "MeMpHitz" Wright through his Hitz Committee/Jive Records label imprint, Asia's forthcoming album "Who Is Asia Cruise?" is planned for release in 2009. A mysterious marketing campaign with only the silhouette of a girl along with a record produced by TheCornaBoyz called "Selfish" permeated the internet earlier this year and introduced Asia's sound. With the buzz generated by the song alone on internet and demand from radio, ASIA shot a video for "Selfish" that premiered on both MTV TRL and BET's 106th & Park, a major accomplishment for any new artist. The demand for "Selfish" made it an instant hit single, rising to #33 on the Billboard Rhythmic charts and hitting #1 in Hawaii and top 10 in various regional markets.
Already named by USA Today as one of the "Top 5 Young Artists To Watch" along with Estelle, Duffy, and Karina Pasian, Asia Cruise's official debut has been much anticipated. Recording with multi-platinum and award-winning artist/producer/songwriter and labelmate T-Pain (Jive), hit producers like Danja, Bluetooth, OAK and hit artist/songwriter Colby O'Donis (KonLive/Interscope), Asia is now set to release her first official single to radio called "Ur Swagger" featuring rap sensation Yung Joc (Bad Boy South/Atlantic) and produced by T-Pain.
Asia has also worked with accomplished choreographer/artistic director Sakinah LeStage (T-Pain, Sophia Fresh, Nivea, Ne-Yo), prominent in the Atlanta music scene, to create a captivating stage show to which Asia brings her own "swagger." She has opened for pop sensation Chris Brown (Jive) and performed to sold out shows in Hawaii and various clubs around the US.
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Asia Nalani has been singing since the age of 5. At 10 she attended a youth theater summer camp and, after the reaction she received at her first performance, knew that being a performing artist was her calling. From a young age she used her outstanding vocals and performance talents to give back to her local Northeast Florida community with performances for the American Cancer Society and the Jacksonville Fair, as well as belting out the national anthem for the Jackonsville Suns and performing in regional production of "The King and I" and the "Tribute to America" benefit concert with Dionne Warwick and Isaac Hayes. - Tracy Lynn Cruz, born January 29, 1976 in Westminster (Orange County), California, USA, is a Filipino-American actress most famously known for playing Ashley Hammond, the Yellow Turbo Ranger in Power Rangers Turbo (1997) and the Yellow Space Ranger in Power Rangers In Space (1998) aka "the season that saved the Power Rangers franchise!" and also guest-featured in two Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (1999) episodes.

For Diana Lee Inosanto, joining the cast of the new Star Wars series, Ahsoka and becoming part of the iconic Star Wars franchise may seem like a dream, but it is very much the real-life culmination of 30 years of dedication and hard work. Originally, Diana was featured in The Mandalorian for the show's second season as the Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth after doing most every job Hollywood has to offer as a struggling actress caring for a child with Autism, from stunt person to director. But mostly, Diana credits her success to having the good fortune of being raised in a charmed circle of actors, renowned martial artists and stunt-people who paved the way for so much of the excitement in today's action filled media.
Diana Lee Inosanto is the daughter of martial arts legend, Dan Inosanto and his wife Sue Inosanto. She is also known as the goddaughter of global icon, the late Bruce Lee (hence, Diana Lee). As an American actress, director, writer, martial artist, stunt woman, and children's book author, Diana paved a way in the Hollywood ecosystem that is unique, modern, and inclusive.
During her youth, Diana began learning the Theater Arts under the guidance of her aunt, Asian American actress, Lilia Inosanto, also known by her stage name Lona Nai . Upon graduation, her Aunt Lilia "Lona Nai" guided Diana to study with famed Broadway casting director and acting teacher, the late Michael Shurtleff, (author of the renowned book 'Audition' a bible for aspiring actors.) Years later, she would go on to study with Asian American character actor, Tzi Ma through East West Players' workshops and joined the Lodestone Theater Ensemble, continuing to grow as an actress, participating in everything from Shakespeare to contemporary plays. She furthered her training in the Michael Chekhov method with Lisa Dalton and got the basics of Improv at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Training Center under Johnny Ray Meeks.
Diana was also a fight and stunt choreographer for several stage productions. This would pave a road for years to come with Diana becoming a "Sensei to the Stars," preparing the who's who in Hollywood for their action roles. Stars like Melissa McCarthy (Spy), Rosa Salazar (Alita:Battle Angel), Lesley-Ann Brandt (Lucifer), Katherine McNamara (Shadowhunters) and Aaron Eckhart & Socratis Otto (I, Frankenstein) were some of the performers under her tutelage.
Throughout her professional career in Hollywood, when it came to acting and directing, Diana discovered that the Hollywood system was not particularly inclusive. As a young mother of a son with Autism, the road was not easy. In time Diana met her future husband, Ron Balicki, a former deputy sheriff and renowned martial artist turned stuntman, action coordinator & choreographer in Hollywood. Throughout their years together, they formed MARS Action Group and would teach martial arts across the country and internationally.
After being spotted demonstrating a fight scene with Ron Balicki, the producers of the movie 'Barb Wire' asked her to take on a role originally cast for a man. The scene, featuring New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison (known internationally for portraying Jango Fett in Star Wars: Episode II and Episode III) gave Diana her first break as a stunt woman. Diana straight away became the martial arts double for actress Sarah Michelle Gellar for the presentation to pitch Buffy the Vampire Slayer as a TV Show, directed by Joss Whedon. This would be the beginning of Diana's years as a stunt woman in Hollywood where she found tremendous success working on popular films and TV shows.
Taking inspiration from notable indie filmmakers she got to know over time, Diana decided to seize control to create her own film project. Making the most of her stunt work, Inosanto learned about the filming process by watching and absorbing while on set the craft from such A-list directors, like Ang Lee, John Woo, Barry Sonnenfeld, and Chris Columbus. By 2010, Inosanto's first Indie film, The Sensei, a film she wrote, directed, and starred, would be one of the earliest digitally released films distributed on Netflix and I-Tunes. Filmed on a tiny budget, The Sensei took place in the 1980's and tells the story of a gay teenager, bullied in a rural town during the height of the AIDS epidemic. The film would go on to win awards and accolades at film festivals like the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival where she had her world premiere at the DGA, New York's Newfest, San Francisco's Frameline, Hoboken International Film Festival, Philadelphia Asian American Film Fest, Germany's Verzaubert Film Festival and LA Femme International Film Fest to name a few. The film, supported by the Matthew Shepard Foundation, earned Diana the Asian American Justice Center, 2011 American Courage Award, presented at the time by Tom Perez (DNC Chairman, who was at that time Assistant Attorney General for Civil rights) in Washington, D.C., where several members of Congress and humanitarian activists were present. Shortly thereafter, Diana became the first woman to receive the Maverick Award at the AOF International Film Festival.
In later years, she would also participate as an activist for several causes, including the recent participation in the nationwide Wash-the-Hate PSA, a campaign that would address the growing hate incidents against Asian Americans since the outbreak of Covid-19. She was asked to speak with other prominent Asian Americans in the film and fashion industry, speaking in front of a virtual panel for NIKE 's employees worldwide. In 2016, during President Obama's administration, Diana was also a guest at the White House joining Asian American leaders and Influencers for the Filipino History Month, championing the Congressional Gold Medal Bill for WWII Filipino American Veterans.
As a woman of many interests, Diana has now released a children's book, teaming up with her adult Autistic son, an illustrator, S.G Inosanto and telling their story in The Curious Mind of Sebastian-an amusing tale about Diana as a young mom, curiously trying to understand the mysteries of Autism through her four-year-old son's quirky behavior. Sebastian's inability to verbally express his love led Inosanto on an incredible journey to find out that love will always find a way to speak.
In 2018, Diana joined Oscar winning producer, Mark Gordon (Saving Private Ryan) and Matt Jackson (Molly's Game) in developing the story on her father Dan Inosanto's work creating a secret training program for the 1977 Dallas Cowboys that helped them to win Super Bowl XII.
Diana feels that her personal philosophy of life is best expressed by Dr. Mae Jemison, the first African American female astronaut: "Never be limited by other people's limited imaginations."- Daphne Joy was born in Olongapo, Philippines. She is known for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), Setup (2011) and Frankenhood (2009).

It was at 21, while hanging out with Wayne at clubs and entering club dance contests after work, that Cris first discovered that he was a natural on the dance floor. Within a year, Cris switched jobs and began dancing professionally with Disney. Cris was an instant hit. He was offered a coveted spot dancing with Michael on both the "Dangerous" and "History" tours, rapidly moving up to lead dancer for the tour. Since that time, Cris has danced in and choreographed numerous music videos including "My Way" for Usher, "Jump, Jive, & Wail" for the Brian Setzer Orchestra, "If I Could Go" for Angie Martinez and "Tango" for Julio Iglesias, and he was the Director for the music video "Ain't It Funny-Remix" with Ja Rule. Leaping forward yet again, Cris then stepped in as Creative Director for Handprint Entertainment, overseeing a $5 million budget and delivering NBC's hugely successful concert special "Let's Get Loud".
Excelling at each creative avenue he explores, Cris has also ventured into composing where his first song, "Alive", was selected as the theme song for the movie Enough (2002) (Sony Music/Columbia Pictures) and went on to be a success on the music charts as well.
On the acting front, Cris has two new feature film projects in the works slated to shoot this spring, along with more sitcom guest-starring appearances. He also recently partnered up with Universal, Dean Cain and long-time choreography partner, Eddie Garcia, to produce a cutting edge interactive dance DVD which will be released in the summer of 2005, and is currently re-choreographing and updating the "Midnight Fantasy" musical for the Luxor Resort in Las Vegas. Vanessa Joy Minnillo was born on November 9, 1980, at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. She is the daughter of Helen Ramos Bercero and Vincent Charles Minnillo, a crew member on an Air Force aircraft (he has since retired). Her father is American, from Ohio, and is of half Italian, one quarter Russian-Jewish, and one quarter Irish, descent. Her mother is a Filipina, whom he met while based in the Philippines. Vanessa and her family, which includes her brother Vincent, who is two years older than she, lived in California, Nevada, Florida, Germany and Japan, before settling down in Charleston, South Carolina. Vanessa attended seven different schools during this time, and participated in cheerleading and volunteer work for numerous local charities.
Her parents divorced in 1986, and Helen was awarded custody of both children; Vanessa only saw her father on weekends. When her mother remarried, the family moved to Turkey, where her new stepfather, who was in the U.S. Air Force, was assigned. They were forced to evacuate when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in 1990, leading to the Gulf War of 1991, and Helen brought the kids back to the U.S., leaving them with their father until she could get back on her feet. That would be the last time that Vanessa would see her mother, who never returned. Instead, Vanessa began a new life, along with her brother, living with her father Vince and his new wife, Donna, whom she now calls her "best friend".
With her life more settled, Vanessa began to turn her attention to the Miss South Carolina Teen USA beauty pageant in 1996. She had loved cheerleading since she was a young child, and was very keen on performing in front of an audience. With her unaffected style and natural ebullience, she easily won over the judges, sweeping all the categories before winning the crown. Two years later, on August 17, 1998, she competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Though it was preempted by CBS' live coverage of a speech by President Bill Clinton regarding the Monica Lewinsky ordeal; in the end, she wowed the Miss Teen USA judges just as she had the Miss South Carolina Teen USA judges two years earlier. It was her second pageant, and her second victory.
In the three years since handing over her Miss Teen USA crown, Vanessa has concentrated on college, acting and modeling. She has a promising future, and was recently one of the finalists in E!'s competition to find a replacement for Brooke Burke as hostess for the show, Wild On... (1997). Though the job ultimately went to Cindy Taylor, Vanessa made a big impression with "Wild On..." fans across the world, and hopes to continue working in television for some time to come.
Vanessa began dating singer Nick Lachey in 2006, shortly after Jessica Simpson filed for divorce from him. The couple married in 2011, and have three children.- Actress

Born in the Philippines, Paolo is one of two children. The Montalban family moved to America when Paolo was just one year old. He lived in an apartment in Manhattan, and then in New Jersey, where he grew up in a neighborhood surrounded by mostly Filipinos. He grew up in a musical family: his father played the piano, two aunts studied the violin and piano at Juilliard, and his mother was involved in the theater while a student at St. Paul's College in Manila. Like many other Filipino American children, he learned how to play the piano, as well as the violin and saxophone. And like many Filipino American children, he doesn't play anymore. When Paolo was attending grade school, he auditioned for his school's production of "Oliver" and got the lead role.
Paolo graduated with a pre-med course at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After graduation, he had his eyes set on Broadway. His parents only wish was for him to get a college degree, which he did. However, after he got his diploma, he went straight for Broadway. His parents did support him in his decision primarily because he had a New York agent during his last year in college, with whom shortly after signing, secured him his first professional job on a national tour with "Man of La Mancha".
Paolo's success has convinced many Filipinos that he is the next best thing to happen to them since Lea Salonga. In an interview, he laughs saying "I wouldn't put myself in the same scale. She's a star. I'm just a guy." Though he may think he is just a guy, he too is considered a star to many people. Paolo understands the disadvantages of being an Asian actor in Hollywood. There isn't much in Hollywood for a stereotypical Asian who knows Kung-fu, who's a gangster or delinquent, or a wise munk of some sort. Still, nothing is stopping him. In the mean time, he's busy auditioning for other roles and relaxing playing video games and watching the cartoon channel.- Actress
