- DirectorRobert FrankAlfred LeslieRichard O. MooreAlfred Leslie is a pivotal American artist-painter-filmmaker whose work spans the past fifty years. A celebrated contemporary of the Abstract Expressionists and a key figure in the extraordinary social milieu of downtown New York from the 1950s and 60s to the present, his own canvases were amongst the most revered of his peers. In 1964 he made 'Pull My Daisy' with the photographer Robert Frank and in 1966 collaborated with the inimitable poet Frank O'Hara on 'The Last Clean Shirt'. In 1960 he edited and published the amazing collection of texts and drawings that form the 'one shot review' 'The Hasty Papers' - in and of itself a summation of cultural activity with contributions from Allen Ginsberg, John Ashbery and Fidel Castro amongst many others. Leslie dramatically moved away from abstraction to make giant almost hyper-real portraits, the majority of which were destroyed in the now infamous fire that ripped through his studio and its neighboring blocks on October 17, 1966. This utterly devastating event, that completely destroyed paintings, films and manuscripts, continues to inform his work today. 'Cool Man in a Golden Age' presents a selection of his key films on DVD for the first time alongside a new video 'self-interview' and a rare television documentary from 1966.

They detect low cost meat in the East Germans moving over the old boundary into the West and start turning them into sausage. Clara flees the slaying of her sleazy spouse and the rotting East, and lands in the arms of butchers. She is held alive simply because the daughter of the family falls in love with her. This German movie is a satirical massacre splatter flick that provides lots of inexpensive gore. It's full of political overtones and has a lot to Tobe Hooper's terror classic "The Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers". If you're a lover of German gore and absurdness, check it out!. 16 million East Germans on their way to the golden West. 4% never got there: were they turned into Wuerste (sausages)? If you knew Christoph Schlingensief's other movies like "United Trash" you will know what this is all about - some call it art, some trash. Shot in 14 days after October the 3rd 1990. With Udo Kier in a small role.

Patriotically singing "God Save Mrs. Ethel Shroake, Long Live Mrs. Ethel Shroake", they wander through this surrealistic landscape, forever being warned by the police to "keep moving", and prone to the occasional mutation into a parrot, cupboard, or even--yes, a bed-sitting room with "No Wogs" scrawled in the grime on its windows. In particular, this story revolves around the odd "love story" of a girl who lives with her parents in one compartment of a London Underground train, the commuter in the next compartment, and the doctor they meet after returning above ground in search of a nurse for the heavily-pregnant girl.
