- DirectorRon SheltonStarsHarrison FordJosh HartnettIsaiah WashingtonTwo LAPD detectives who moonlight in other fields investigate the murder of an up-and-coming rap group.I downloaded an .avi file of this movie from newsgroups and it was a very clear, higher resolution copy. Stupid plot, but I assume that Harrison Ford probably made $20 million. No one will win any awards from this film and I imagine that it did squat at the box office. It will probably be released on DVD soon, where it will generate a profit. I've noticed that whenever Harrison Ford is in a scene where he has a gun and he is chasing someone, he walks really stiff and gawky, like he doesn't have a clue as to what the hell he's doing! The young cop, Ford's partner, tells him that he wants to quit the force and become an actor, because he says, "I must follow my bliss."

It was a high resolution copy. It kept you guessing up until the very end, when Jack Nicholson proves to be a good guy, after all. Throughout most he plays a pretty crude and rude dude. He made the whole movie worth watching, because I haven't seen Adam Sadler do anything but play some sort of spoof, and I would not have downloaded it, if Jack weren't in the film! Although it was a dumb one!

Bloody as hell! I liked the sets, costumes, and the excellent acting by Daniel Day Lewis. Di Caprio's attempt at an Irish accent was pathetic. I'd like to see part I so I can see the fight between Day Lewis and Liam Neeson.

- DirectorLana WachowskiLilly WachowskiStarsKeanu ReevesLaurence FishburneCarrie-Anne MossFreedom fighters Neo, Trinity and Morpheus continue to lead the revolt against the Machine Army, unleashing their arsenal of extraordinary skills and weaponry against the systematic forces of repression and exploitation.I downloaded a low resolution copy of this movie shortly after its release. It had the usual special effects and martial arts fight scenes. It ended without resolving what was going to happen to the humans and I await for the release of the third installment, which was filmed at the same time that this one was.
DATE: 2003-10-18 - DirectorQuentin TarantinoStarsUma ThurmanDavid CarradineDaryl HannahAfter awakening from a four-year coma, a former assassin wreaks vengeance on the team of assassins who betrayed her.I downloaded a low-resolution copy and watched it today. I surprised to see Darryl Hannah was a co-star and that Michael Parks (Then Came Bronson from 70's TV series) had a role as a Texas Lawman. The first time that I've seen anime scenes in a Hollywood production. The fight seen, where Uma defeats about 50 Yakuza with samurai swords is so unbelievable! I guess we owe all this martial arts fantasy fighting to the memory of Bruce Lee. It seems that any movie that has any hand combat in it, resorts to using the martial arts stunts to the point that it's rather blase. Like "The Matrix Revisited", part two was filmed at the same time. That saves a lot in producing the sequel and the way that the movie ends, without the plot being resolved, one will have to see it in order to have any idea of how it ends.
