Premio Ariel a la Mejor Película
The Ariel Award for Best Picture (Ariel de Mejor Película in Spanish) is the highest award given in Mexico to a single film and is part of the Mexican Academy of Film's Ariel Award program. The Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas ("The Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences") was founded on July 3, 1946, in Mexico City.
