Despite its title, "The Sacred Star of Milos" is not even remotely Fullmetal. Neither writer, director nor producers understood what makes this franchise so fantastic, and the end result is a poorly written - though gorgeously animated - mess.

In many ways one of the most uncomfortable movies I've ever seen, constantly getting under my skin... the reason for which being that I can relate to it so much. If "Lupin III: The First" isn't quite as good as "The Castle of Cagliostro" - or its other main influence, "The Last Crusade" - well, how many movies are?
