Worst Comedy Movies I've Seen
I love watching comedies...when they are done right. Unfortunately, these movies completely failed in my humble opinion.

- DirectorJason FriedbergAaron SeltzerStarsKal PennJennifer CoolidgeFred WillardA spoof on previous years' epic movies (The Da Vinci Code (2006), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) + 20 more), TV series, music videos and celebs. 4 orphans are on an epic adventure. This just looks like the work of a bunch of nasty internet trolls. The fact that this...thing made a profit makes me fear for the future of the human race.
- DirectorGerald ThomasStarsSidney JamesKenneth WilliamsCharles HawtreyThis is the tale of industrial strife at WC Boggs' Lavatory factory. Vic Spanner is the union representative who calls a strike at the drop of a hat; eventually everyone has to get fed up with him. This is also the ideal opportunity for lots of lavatorial jokes...Maybe this was seen as funny back in the 70s. However, when I watched it, I just immediately hated it. Apart from Screaming, I don't particularly like any of the Carry On movies. The absolute low point of British comedy in my opinion (I haven't seen Sex Lives of the Potato Men, so I can't include it on this list)
- DirectorKeenen Ivory WayansStarsMarlon WayansShawn WayansBusy PhilippsTwo disgraced FBI agents go way undercover in an effort to protect hotel heiresses the Wilson sisters from a kidnapping plot. This was horrible to watch. I don't know what else to say...
- DirectorDennis DuganStarsAdam SandlerKatie HolmesAl PacinoFamily guy, Jack Sadelstein, prepares for the annual event he always dreads--the Thanksgiving visit of his fraternal twin sister, the needy, and passive-aggressive Jill, who then refuses to leave.Adam Sandler does actually possess genuine talent (if you don't believe me, watch Punch Drunk Love). Unfortunately, his reputation will forever be dogged by the sheer volume of crap he has made, with Jack and Jill being his nadir.
- DirectorTom BradyStarsRob SchneiderRachel McAdamsAnna FarisAn attractive and popular teenager, who is mean-spirited toward others, finds herself in the body of an older man, and must find a way to get back to her original body.I despise Rob Schneider with a passion; this movie, with it's brain dead ''jokes'' and witless Schneider performance, highly contributes to my hatred for the man.
- DirectorRob MinkoffStarsEddie MurphyMarsha ThomasonJennifer TillyA realtor and his wife and children are summoned to a mansion, which they soon discover is haunted, and while they attempt to escape, he learns an important lesson about the family he has neglected.Eddie Murphy can occasionally be funny, but here he looks like he doesn't want to be on the set; this, alongside the fact that The Haunted Mansion fails to be funny in the slightest, contributes to the movie's downfall.
- DirectorMel BrooksStarsLeslie NielsenMel BrooksPeter MacNicolMel Brooks' parody of the classic vampire story and its famous film adaptations.I am willing to sit through bad comedies if Leslie Nielsen is in them, as he at least makes me laugh. I did giggle at his moments in this, but apart from that it was rather boring...and I never thought I'd say that about a Mel Brooks movie!
- DirectorDavid ZuckerStarsAnna FarisRegina HallCraig BierkoCindy finds out the house she lives in is haunted by a little boy and goes on a quest to find out who killed him and why. Also, Alien "Tr-iPods" are invading the world and she has to uncover the secret in order to stop them.Leslie Nielsen was ok in this, and Anna Faris had some charm about her. Apart from that, this movie was very dull and not particularly that funny.
- DirectorStephen KesslerStarsChevy ChaseBeverly D'AngeloRandy QuaidIn the fourth outing for the vacation franchise, the Griswolds have to survive Vegas fever when they go to Las Vegas for a fun family vacation.Chevy Chase still has some comedic charm in this; however, it mainly just felt a rehash of the old Vacation movies, which was quite sad when I look back on it.
- DirectorLars von TrierStarsJens AlbinusPeter GantzlerFriðrik Þór FriðrikssonAn IT company hires an actor to serve as the company's president in order to help the business get sold to a cranky Icelander. It's a good idea for a comedy, and there were a few bits that did make me laugh a bit. Unfortunately, for the most part, I didn't really get the joke. As much as I like Lars Von Trier's movies, he should definitely stay clear of comedy.
