- DirectorNikolai MüllerschönStarsJutta SpeidelHansa CzypionkaBettina RedlichEveryone is discussing the threat of two-tier medicine - Kathi Pfeiffer, on the other hand, interprets the term in her own unique way: the head of the therapeutic department of a Munich private clinic also treats needy people who actually cannot afford it - and provides everything to her wealthy patients charged. This not entirely legal Robin Hood method becomes her undoing when the old clinic owner dies and a community of investors takes over. The new bosses, who want to turn the traditional house into a luxury clinic anyway, accuse Kathi of fraud and put not only her, but the entire workforce at the door without notice. From one moment to the next, Kathi's entire existence is in danger of collapsing: her colleagues blame her for the layoffs and her private debts threaten to finally grow over her head due to the loss of her job. In this situation, she will also no longer be able to take care of her old neighbor, Ms. Otz. Determined to end her life, she runs to a bridge on the river. However, she is not alone with this idea: Before Kathi can implement it, an elegantly dressed man jumps into the water in front of her eyes. In this situation, Kathi's helper instinct triumphs over her suicidal thoughts: She jumps after the man, saves the man's life and flees with him from the arriving police. The soaking wet bridge jumper introduces himself as Clemens Nutz. He too has had a hard blow of fate. As an unscrupulous financial juggler, he came to power and wealth - until his criminal partner connected him to illegal business and whistled him to the public prosecutor's office as a pawn victim. Kathi takes the volatile top manager in and together the unequal duo decides to declare war on their opponents. Thanks to Clemens' experience in the business world, Kathi's resolute charm and the hacking talent of Kathi's 18-year-old grandson Julius, they manage to collect evidence against the greedy speculators. And it doesn't take long before the two of them get closer to each other in their private search for clues. But then Kathi gets into a situation in which she has to ask herself whether she can really trust her supposed boyfriend from the world of high finance - or whether he is not in cahoots with her worst enemy.

- DirectorWalter BannertStarsUschi GlasHorst SachtlebenEnzi FuchsIt's been 24 years since Maren Bertram left her parents' farm in Bavaria. At that time, after the mysterious accidental death of her mother, she had a serious argument with her father Maximilian, whom she blamed for the death of her beloved mother in a mixture of anger and sadness. Meanwhile, the attractive and self-confident Maren has made a career as an investment banker in New York. Now, however, a message from home forces the shrewd businesswoman to face her past: Theres, the father's housekeeper, has written to her that Maximilian's health is not in good shape. So Maren takes a few days off to return to her home village and visit her father, who has broken off all contact with her since the argument. The farm has now become a sanctuary for animals, which Maximilian runs together with the veterinarian Eva, in which he has found a kind of substitute daughter. Maren's insecure attempts to reconcile with her father seem to fall on deaf ears with the stubborn old man - he still refuses to tell his daughter the whole truth about the tragic death of her mother. A small ray of hope for the returnee is the reunion with her childhood sweetheart Johann. It doesn't take long for the old feelings to flare up again between the two of them. Then by chance Maren finds out that her father's farm is heavily in debt and is about to be forcibly sold. What she doesn't suspect: of all people, the charming Johann has set his sights on the traditional family property in order to realize a gigantic building project. When Maximilian, who is in poor health, learns of the connection between Maren and Johann, a world collapses for him. Convinced that his enterprising daughter is in league with the building speculator, he strongly reproaches her. The relationship with her stubborn father Maximilian relaxes more every day, and Maren is looking forward to the arrival of her son Michael, who is traveling from New York for an art history research project. The only cause for concern Maren is the uncertain financial situation of the property. Her business partner, with whom she was planning a future-oriented senior housing project, fled abroad before the tax investigation. He previously sold the promissory notes that he owned from Bertramshof to a mysterious investor named Maxi Müller. Fortunately, the new co-owner turns out to be an open-minded, modern businesswoman who wants to support Maren's plans. But then the bomb bursts: Maximilian and Maxi only recently found out that she was his illegitimate daughter. This fact doesn't seem to interest the stubborn old man, Maxi remains a stranger to him - he doesn't even consider it necessary to exchange a friendly word with her. Maxi is deeply hurt by this behavior, but hides her pain. After all, she is cut from the same cloth as her father, who soon feels the anger of his tough daughter. And so Maximilian and Maren run the risk of losing the farm for good.

At the same time, Hanna wants to use the trip to pick up her eldest daughter Judith, who has completed a year-long internship on a sheep farm. However, the completely surprised Hanna learns very quickly that Judith has no intention of returning to Germany despite her university place and good career prospects. She fell in love with Jan, the son of the sheep farmer Wolf Holländer. The young Parr wants to get married soon and build a future together in New Zealand. Father Stefan has already agreed to come to the wedding. After the initial shock over this news has been digested, Hanna gradually begins to get used to the idea that her daughter wants to realize her dream of happiness in the middle of the New Zealand province. During the wedding preparations, Hanna gets to know the withdrawn wolf better - and a timid love gradually develops between the metropolitan career woman and the nature-loving farmer. But Hanna has to return to Berlin after the wedding celebration. She is all the happier when she is commissioned to travel to New Zealand again. Then she got the news that Judith had died in a car accident - a stroke of fate that destroys Hanna's dreams of a new happiness with Wolf at the "other end of the world". Part 2: After Judith died in a tragic car accident Hanna travels back to New Zealand with her two younger daughters Mara and Antonia and her husband Stefan to say goodbye to her daughter. Mara finds consolation and support from the young Maori Steve. Hanna, however, makes Judith's husband Jan in her grief responsible for the death of their daughter - although he is not to blame for the accident and threatens to break down from the loss of his beloved wife. Eventually Hanna realizes that she should return to Germany to help her two daughters, who have not yet got over the death of their sister. When she arrived in Berlin, she had to realize that she was no longer really at home here either: her employer had given her notice; Stefan is busy with Jennifer, his new wife, and their newborn baby; Mara decides to go to Steve in New Zealand; and the grieving Antonia turns away from her mother, disappointed, because she feels abandoned by her. But Anne, who was looking forward to a discovery-filled trip along picturesque country roads and along lonely fjords, doesn't want to accept that. A heated argument ensues, which ends with Norbert starting the journey home - convinced that Anne will follow him on the next ship to Germany. But he's completely wrong, because for the first time in their almost 40-year marriage, Anne doesn't just give in. She decides to continue the journey alone. By chance she meets the single doctor Katja. The two women hit it off right away, and so Anne postpones her onward journey in order to spend a few relaxing days with her new friend. However, there is another reason for her to stay: in the headstrong marine biologist Konrad, Anne has found an admirer who, with his brash, nature-loving and free-spirited nature, is so refreshingly different from the narrow-minded Norbert. In any case, Anne realizes more and more clearly that her marriage is in a dead end from which there seems to be no turning back. At the same time, back home in Germany, Norbert is torn between his longing for Anne and frustration over their relationship, which has long since stalled. - DirectorSigi RothemundStarsDieter PfaffRita RussekJohanna KlanteActually, the high school graduate Ina Brosche (Johanna Klante) only had a little joke in mind when, after a holiday in Mallorca, she told her father Richard (Dieter Pfaff), a successful businessman in Berlin, that he had a second, illegitimate daughter there. But a strange coincidence wants Ina to hit the mark: Richard actually cheated on his wife Claudia (Rita Russek) as a young man and spent a night with the beautiful tour guide Hanna (Simone Thomalla), who has since become a charming, but not particularly thriving country hotel on the Balearic Island. And Hanna's daughter Antonia (Camilla Renschke), about the same age as Ina, could well have been fathered by him. A realization that Richard initially only shares with his friend Max (Guntbert Warns), a perpetually youthful and penetratingly optimistic philanderer. But then Richard, despotic and insufferable from years of career struggles, is passed over for an important promotion and finds his wife in his competitor's arms of all places. Deeply depressed, he flees to Mallorca and rents a room in Hanna's hotel, initially incognito, in search of traces of his youth. Hanna and Antonia hold the cranky guest, who comes without luggage, finds fault with everything and checks the weight of the steak served by the restaurant with a letter scale - "if the portions are so generous, then you can't get anywhere!" for the spy of a hotel chain and try to get rid of him. The deadlock becomes much more complicated when Claudia, Ina and Max gradually arrive in Mallorca. A series of revelations ensue that make Richard realize what life is all about really matters. Sigi Rothemund's comedy, filmed in the wild and romantic Majorcan mountain landscape, is a quick-witted plea for more tolerance in married life and relationships, with all sorts of surprises and ingenious parallel plots. In the role of the lovable complainer Richard, Dieter Pfaff once again shows himself to be a gifted comedian with perfect timing and a lot of self-mockery. The quick-witted and contemporary script was written by a team that has worked for television before: the well-known crime writer Leo P. Ard and the Mallorca-based travel writer Birgit Grosz.

- DirectorFelicitas DarschinStarsCharlotte SchwabPeggy LukacLeonard LansinkIf you rest, you rust - at least that's what the old adage says. For this reason, the best friends Klaus and Fred have made some plans for their time in early retirement. They sold their hotel together with a heavy heart but at a profit. Now they want to enjoy life with their wives Mary-Lou and Hanne and fulfill a few long-cherished dreams. That's the theory. In reality, Klaus and Fred spend a large part of their time on the shared sailing boat on the Wannsee, while their wives sit at home annoyed and feel hopelessly neglected. But even the two would-be sea dogs are getting bored with beer and bratwurst on their decked-out boat. Until one day they have to come to the aid of a young woman in distress at sea: 20-year-old Franziska is heavily pregnant and her boyfriend left her overnight. Now she is without a job, without an apartment and without prospects and doesn't know where to go. At first, Fred reacts a little harshly to the uninvited guest and would like to bring the girl back to shore as quickly as possible. In Klaus, on the other hand, who had always wanted children, the fatherly gentleman awakens. He can convince his friend to give Franziska shelter on the boat. Otherwise he would like to take care of the desperate young woman and make sure that she does not have to give her baby up for adoption. However, he doesn't tell his wife Mary-Lou about the relief operation any more than Fred tells his Hanne - the ladies shouldn't worry about it unnecessarily. However, they don't do that anyway. Rather, Mary-Lou decides to look for a job, and so she takes care of the slightly eccentric senior Gustav Wittke, while Hanne finds a sensitive admirer in his doctor Hans Schuster, who gives her all the attention that she so painfully sees at Fred missing. Meanwhile, Klaus has an entirely different reason for keeping Franziska's sudden appearance from his wife - a reason that dates back to a misstep 21 years ago.
