- DirectorSam RaimiStarsTobey MaguireKirsten DunstTopher GraceA strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge. The engagement plot goes nowwhere. Gwen Stacey is just in it to make Mary Jane jealous. Harry Osborne bumps his head and forgets he is mad at Peter.
The venom ooze turns Peter into more of a nerd but who thinks he's part of a greaser gang in the 50's. And Venom is a wasted opportunity. The list of flaws goes on and on. - DirectorZack SnyderStarsHenry CavillAmy AdamsMichael ShannonAn alien child is evacuated from his dying world and sent to Earth to live among humans. His peace is threatened when other survivors of his home planet invade Earth.Yes I've seen the film a couple of times but mostly when there's nothing else on cable. The film is too dark, slow and uneven despite some good action scenes.
- DirectorBrett RatnerStarsPatrick StewartHugh JackmanHalle BerryThe human government develops a cure for mutations, and Jean Grey becomes a darker uncontrollable persona called the Phoenix who allies with Magneto, causing escalation into an all-out battle for the X-Men.Days of Future Passed would have been better if it didn't have to clean up the messes this movie made. And it still never answered how Xavier is back in a logical way.
Brett Ratner has stated that Xavier simply just had a twin in a coma laying around who just happened to be crippled too apparently. - DirectorChristopher NolanStarsChristian BaleTom HardyAnne HathawayEight years after the Joker's reign of chaos, Batman is coerced out of exile with the assistance of the mysterious Selina Kyle in order to defend Gotham City from the vicious guerrilla terrorist Bane.I enjoy the film as a Batman film but as the last of Nolan's films it's pretty weak. I mean Batman could go and on story wise. And he just rushed ending it. While not mentioning the Joker once I find more disrespectful to Heath Ledger than respectful.
The Joker caused so much chaos that it's hard not to even mention him once but this film managed not to.
Still, Bane kicked ass despite all the complaints that he wasn't enough like Bane in the comics. - DirectorBryan SingerStarsBrandon RouthKevin SpaceyKate BosworthSuperman returns to Earth after spending five years in space examining his homeworld Krypton. But he finds things have changed while he was gone, and he must once again prove himself important to the world.Hey, in my mind this is a lot more like Superman than Snyder's. The problem is that Bryan Singer didn't come in with enough original ideas. Just like Man of Steel; someone like Brainiac was needed that we haven't seen as a villain yet.
While the film takes too long to pick up. Still, the movie is better than Man of Steel. - DirectorGavin HoodStarsHugh JackmanLiev SchreiberRyan ReynoldsThe early years of James Logan, featuring his rivalry with his brother Victor Creed, his service in the special forces team Weapon X, and his experimentation into the metal-lined mutant Wolverine.
- DirectorRichard LesterStarsChristopher ReeveRichard PryorMargot KidderSynthetic kryptonite laced with tar splits Superman in two: good Clark Kent and bad Man of Steel. So many good super hero films dropped the ball with the 3rd film after the 2nd left room for so much potential. Just like Spider-Man 3, Blade Trinity, X-3, Dark Knight Rises; Superman 3 is one of those films.
- DirectorMartin CampbellStarsRyan ReynoldsBlake LivelyPeter SarsgaardReckless test pilot Hal Jordan is granted an alien ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers that inducts him into an intergalactic police force, the Green Lantern Corps.
- DirectorMarc WebbStarsAndrew GarfieldEmma StoneJamie FoxxWhen New York is put under siege by Oscorp, it is up to Spider-Man to save the city he swore to protect as well as his loved ones. The more I watch the film; the more I am disappointed. It's just uneven. And drops the ball pretty early in the new film series.
Still, waiting until 2018 to see if part 3 can be better is way too long to wait. Sony is making a mistake pushing Spider-Man to the side for unnecessary villain movies. - DirectorJoel SchumacherStarsVal KilmerTommy Lee JonesJim CarreyBatman must battle former district attorney Harvey Dent, who is now Two-Face and Edward Nygma, The Riddler with help from an amorous psychologist and a young circus acrobat who becomes his sidekick, Robin.Batman & Robin isn't here since I never had high expectations for it after seeing this movie by the same director.
