Scottine Sheen was born Scottine Ross on May 21, 1989, in Fontana, CA. She was raised by her mother and grandmother in Southern California. At age 14 she was scouted by a coach who directed runway shows for Gottschalks and Forever 21 stores and was asked if she would be interested in becoming a runway model. Scottine's grandmother had experience with the industry, having once been a model herself, so she helped guide her career while she was a minor by taking her to the majority of her runway shows and shoots for local retailer catalogs.
By the time Scottine turned 18, agencies felt that at 5'8" tall she no longer fit the mold of a runway model. This forced her to pursue other options, which eventually led to her becoming an internationally published centerfold and glamour model.
In 2010 it was decided she would change her stage name to Brett Rossi to protect her identity while she posed for various men's magazines to pay her way through college ,as well as working at the Playboy Mansion as a painted model. By 2011 she made her national debut when The Howard Stern Radio Show (1998) named her "Miss Howard TV of December", and she appeared on Stern's radio show, where she would also host the December Howard 100 series on his satellite TV channel. That same month she also was named Playboy's Cyber Girl.
Still was still hoping that she would eventually be able to model for major commercial companies under her real name, but her new stage name was starting to become internationally recognized once she was named Miss February 2012 Penthouse Pet of the Month and signed a contract with one of the most popular adult-video companies in the world. The contract had stipulated that her image would remain intact and all of her work would be kept "classy". However, in May of 2013 she decided that she did not want to extend her contract due to irreconcilable differences with the company. She announced her retirement from the adult-film industry so she could finish her degree in Nursing. Six months later she began dating actor Charlie Sheen. By February 2014 Sheen proposed to her, and she then took his last name. However, Scottie and Sheen called off their engagement in September 2014 and went their separate ways, with Sheen "wishing her all the best."
As of May 2014, it was announced by US Weekly that Scottine had publicly acknowledged her real name and that she was trying to leave behind her past as well as her stage name "Brett Rossi".- Danielle Horvat was born on 10 July 1991 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Doro Pesch is a female vocalist, formerly of the German band Warlock and one of the few female singers of the 1980s Heavy Metal scene, which was primarily a male-dominated genre of music.
After Warlock underwent many personnel changes, Pesch was the only remaining original member of the band. After changing her record label, she released the fifth album as Doro, as the former label owned the trademark on the Warlock name.
Pesch has been solo ever since with a solid backing band and lives in Europe. She celebrated her 20th year as a performer with her most recent release "Warrior Soul" in 2006.
Originally Pesch was a member of the group Snakebite, but in 1983 she left to join Warlock. - It would not be easy for anyone to out-do one of American theater's finest thespians, but somehow actress Sandy Dennis managed to even out-quirk the legendary Geraldine Page when it came to affecting nervous tics and offbeat mannerisms on stage and in film. She and Page had few peers when it came to the neurotic-dispensing department. The two Actor's Studio disciples developed fascinating characterizations that seemed to manifest themselves outwardly to such physical extremes and, like a bad car accident, their overt styling was capable of both drawing in, and repelling audiences. There was no gray area. Either way, both had a searing emotional range and were undeniably transfixing figures who held up Oscar trophies to prove there was a "Method" to their respective madness. Sandy's signature quirks--her stuttering, fluttering, throat gulps, eye twitches, nervous giggles, hysterical flailing--are all a part of what made her so distinctive and unforgettable. Her untimely death of cancer at age 54 robbed the entertainment industry of a remarkable talent.
The Nebraska-born-and-bred actress was born Sandra Dale Dennis in Hastings, on April 27, 1937, the daughter of postal clerk Jack Dennis and his secretary wife Yvonne (née Hudson), who divorced in 1966 after a 38-year marriage. Living in both Kenesaw (1942) and Lincoln (1946) while growing up, she and brother Frank went to Lincoln High School with TV host Dick Cavett. Her passion for acting grew and grew while still at home. A college student at both Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Nebraska, she eventually found her career direction after appearing with the Lincoln Community Theater Group.
The toothy actress left Nebraska and towards the Big Apple at age 19 just to try her luck. An intense student of acting guru Uta Hagen, Sandy made her New York stage debut in a Tempo Theatre production of "The Lady from the Sea" in 1956 and that same year won her first TV role as that of Alice Holden in the daytime series Guiding Light (1952). A year later she made it to Broadway as an understudy (and eventual replacement) for the roles of Flirt and Reenie in the William Inge drama "The Dark at the Top of the Stairs," directed by Elia Kazan at the Music Box Theatre. She toured with that production and also found regional work in the plays "Bus Stop" and "Motel" while continuing to shine as a budding New York fixture in "Burning Bright," "Face of a Hero" and "Port Royal".
Along with fellow newcomers Gary Lockwood and Phyllis Diller, Sandy made her movie debut in playwright Inge's Splendor in the Grass (1961), a movie quite welcoming of Sandy's neurotic tendencies. In the minor but instrumental role of Kay, she is an unwitting instigator of friend Deanie's (played by an ambitiously unbalanced Natalie Wood) mental collapse. Despite this worthy little turn, Sandy would not make another film for five years.
Instead, the actress set her sights strongly on the stage and for this she was handsomely rewarded, most notably in comedy. After appearing in a two-month run of the Graham Greene drama "The Complaisant Lover" at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in 1961, stardom would be hers the very next year with her outstanding social worker role in the lighter-weight "A Thousand Clowns". Winning the Theatre World as well as the coveted Tony Award for her performance, she continue her run of prizes with a second consecutive Tony for her sexy turn in the comedy "Any Wednesday" (1964). Having made only one picture at this juncture, Sandy was not in a good position to transfer her award-winning characters to film and when they did, they went to Barbara Harris and Jane Fonda, respectively.
TV was also a viable medium for Sandy and she appeared sporadically on such programs as The Fugitive (1963), Naked City (1958) and Arrest and Trial (1963). In 1965, she appeared in London as Irina in a heralded Actor's Studio production of Chekhov's "The Three Sisters" with fellow devotees Geraldine Page, Kim Stanley, Shelley Winters, Luther Adler and Kevin McCarthy. The play was subsequently videotaped and directed by Paul Bogart, and is valuable today for the studied "Method" performances of its cast. It, however, received mixed reviews upon its release.
Returning to film in 1966, Sandy seemed to embellish every physical and emotional peculiarity she could muster for the role of the mousy wife Honey in the four-character powerhouse play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Edward Albee. It is a mouth-dropping, emotionally shattering performance, and both she and a more even-keeled George Segal as the drop over guests of the skewering cutthroat couple George and Martha (Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton) more than held their own. While the distaff cast won Oscars for this (Taylor for "Best Actress" and Dennis for "Best Supporting Actress"), this ferocious landmark film blew open the "Production Code" doors once and for all and a wave of counterculture filming tackling formerly taboo subjects came to be.
Firmly established now with her Oscar win, Sandy found highly affecting lead showcases for herself. She starred as a young, naive English teacher challenged by a New York "Blackboard Jungle"-like school system in Up the Down Staircase (1967). She also stirred up some controversy along with Anne Heywood playing brittle lesbian lovers whose relationship is threatened by a sexy male visitor (Keir Dullea) in another ground-breaking film The Fox (1967). Sandy remained intriguingly off-kilter in the odd-couple romantic story Sweet November (1968) opposite Anthony Newley, the bizarre Robert Altman thriller That Cold Day in the Park (1969), and the gloomy British melodrama A Touch of Love (1969) [aka Thank You All Very Much].
Off-camera, Sandy lived for over a decade with jazz musician and saxophonist Gerry Mulligan, which began in 1965 following his devoted relationship with actress Judy Holliday who had died of cancer earlier in the year. They eventually parted ways in 1976. Rumors that they had married at some point were eventually negated by Sandy herself. Sandy also went on to have a May-December relationship with the equally quirky actor Eric Roberts from 1980 to 1985. She had no children.
At the peak of her film popularity, Sandy began the 1970s in more mainstream fashion. She and Jack Lemmon were another odd-couple hit in Neil Simon's The Out of Towners (1970) as married George and Gwen Kellerman visiting an unmerciful Big Apple. Sandy is at her whiny, plain-Jane best ("Oh, my God...I think we're being kidnapped!") as disaster upon disaster befalls the miserable twosome. Both she and Lemmon were nominated for Golden Globes. Following this, however, Sandy again refocused on the stage with an avalanche of fine performances in "How the Other Half Loves," "And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little," "A Streetcar Named Desire" (as Blanche), "Born Yesterday" (as Billie Dawn), "Absurd Person Singular," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (as Maggie the Cat), "Same Time, Next Year," "The Little Foxes," "Eccentricities of a Nightingale," "The Supporting Cast" and even the title role in "Peter Pan".
A few TV and movie roles came Sandy's way in unspectacular fashion but it wasn't until the next decade that she again stole some thunder. After a moving support turn as a cast-off wife in the finely-tuned ensemble drama The Four Seasons (1981), Sandy proved terrific as a James Dean extremist in another ensemble film Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (1982), which she played first to fine acclaim on Broadway. Reunited with director Robert Altman as well as her stage compatriots Cher, Karen Black, Kathy Bates, Sudie Bond and Marta Heflin, the film version was equally praised. Her last films included Another Woman (1988), 976-EVIL (1988) and Parents (1989).
Seen less and less in later years, she gave in to her eccentric tendencies as time went on. A notorious cat lover (at one point there was a count of 33 residing in her Westport, Connecticut home), close friends included actresses Brenda Vaccaro and Jessica Walter. Her father Jack died in 1990 and around that same time Sandy was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Undergoing chemotherapy at the time she filmed the part of a beaten-down mother in Sean Penn's The Indian Runner (1991), the role proved to be her last.
Sandy died in Westport on March 2, 1992. Her ashes were placed at the Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln, Nebraska. A foundation in her home state was set up to "memorialize the accomplishments of Sandy Dennis, to perpetuate her commitment to education and the performing arts, to promote cultural activities, and to encourage theatrical education, performance, and professionals". A book, "Sandy Dennis: A Personal Memoir," was published posthumously in 1997. - Actress

Eve Arden was born Eunice Mary Quedens in Mill Valley, California (near San Francisco), and was interested in show business from an early age. At 16, she made her stage debut after quitting school to join a stock company. After appearing in minor roles in two films under her real name, Eunice Quedens, she found that the stage offered her the same minor roles. By the mid 30s, one of these minor roles would attract notice as a comedy sketch in the stage play "Ziegfeld Follies".
By that time, she had changed her name to Eve Arden, which she adopted while looking over some cosmetics and spotting the names "Evening in Paris" and "Elizabeth Arden". In 1937, she garnered some attention with a small role in Oh, Doctor (1937), which led to her being cast in a minor role in the film Stage Door (1937). By the time the film was finished, her part had expanded into the wise-cracking, fast-talking friend to the lead. She would play virtually the character for most of her career.
While her sophisticated wise-cracking would never make her the lead, she would be a busy actress in dozens of movies over the next dozen years. In At the Circus (1939), she was the acrobatic Peerless Pauline opposite Groucho Marx and the Russian sharp shooter in the comedy The Doughgirls (1944). For her role as Ida in Mildred Pierce (1945), she received an Academy Award nomination. Famous for her quick ripostes, this led to work in Radio during the 1940s. In 1948, CBS Radio premiered "Our Miss Brooks", which would be the perfect show for her character. As her film career began to slow, CBS would take the popular radio show to television in 1952. The television series Our Miss Brooks (1952) would run through 1956 and led to the movie Our Miss Brooks (1956).
When the show ended, Arden tried another television series, The Eve Arden Show (1957), but it was soon canceled. In the 1960s, Arden raised a family and did a few guest roles, until her come-back television series The Mothers-In-Law (1967). This show, co-starring Kaye Ballard ran for two seasons. After that, she would make more unsold pilots, a couple of television movies and a few guest shots. She returned in occasional cameo appearances including as Principal McGee in Grease (1978), and Warden June in Pandemonium (1982).- Actress

Statuesque, smart Canadian-born Alexis Smith, with her blue/green eyes and a seductively husky voice, lent a touch of class to her leading ladies of the 1940s and 1950s.
After her family moved to California, Alexis grew into a precocious talent and performed ballet in public by the age of thirteen -- dancing to 'Carmen' at the Hollywood Bowl. She later graduated with a degree in drama from Los Angeles City College having previously won an acting contest whilst still in high school. During a performance of a play on campus she was spotted by a Warner Brothers talent scout and signed to a contract in 1941. Until the early 1950s she was paired with the top male stars in Hollywood, including Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart, William Holden and Bing Crosby. While often simply decorative (as, for example, in Of Human Bondage (1946) and Stallion Road (1947)), stylishly attired by costume designers like Milo Anderson and Helen Rose in the most glamorous gowns, Alexis also proved to be a capable and spirited actress in spite of relatively few opportunities to break out of the mold of "the other woman".
Early on in her screen career the studio's publicity department touted Alexis -- much to her chagrin -- as the "Dynamite Girl". While she claimed in later years to have typecast herself (saying that few of her assigned roles ever challenged her on any level) Alexis nonetheless enjoyed good critical reviews for many of her performances. She was also popular with directors and film crews who appreciated her relaxed, professional manner on the set. Commencing her Hollywood tenure, she was cast in two films with Errol Flynn (she would make a total of four films with him): Dive Bomber (1941) and the boxing drama Gentleman Jim (1942). Though decidedly second fiddle to both the action and the charismatic Flynn, Alexis made a good first impression as the fetching romantic interest. Her next performance, in The Constant Nymph (1943) opposite Charles Boyer, was described by a reviewer as an "intelligent rendition". Her biggest hit of the mid-1940s was as Cole Porter's wife in the inaccurate--but hugely successful--biopic Night and Day (1946). She also appeared in two "noir" films with Humphrey Bogart at his most menacing: the interesting and underrated Conflict (1945) and the excellent The Two Mrs. Carrolls (1947). As Clark Gable's wife in the gambling drama Any Number Can Play (1949) she was critically lauded as "genuinely appealing". In between, there were also some conspicuous failures, in particular her rather stolid performance in the period drama The Woman in White (1948). She had little to do in Here Comes the Groom (1951) and The Turning Point (1952) and her best part in the 1950s, though small, was that of Carol Wharton in The Young Philadelphians (1959).
During the 1960s, Alexis took a sabbatical from the screen to appear on stage with her husband, actor Craig Stevens (her marriage, a rare Hollywood success, lasted 49 years) in "Critic's Choice", "Cactus Flower" and "Mary, Mary". She reserved her best acting for the stage, becoming the Tony Award-winning star of Stephen Sondheim's musical "Follies" in which she played Phyllis during the 1971 run on Broadway (which landed her on the cover of the May 3 issue of 'Time' Magazine) and at the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles in 1972. In 1973, she played Sylvia Fowler in a revival of Clare Boothe Luce's "The Women" and was nominated for another Tony for her leading role of Lila Halliday in "Platinum" in 1979.
Alexis was seen infrequently on television from the mid-'50s, sometimes appearing on the same show opposite her husband. She had a recurring role as the homicidal Lady Jessica Montfort in Dallas (1978) during the 1984 and 1990 seasons and was nominated for an Emmy for a guest-starring role on Cheers (1982). It was fitting, or perhaps ironic, that her last film role in The Age of Innocence (1993) was as a New York socialite, the kind of stereotypical persona she had portrayed so often in her heyday at Warners.- Gold coast actress, Kate Tandy, also known as Katelyn Rebecca Tandy was born in Darwin, Northern Territory on the 30th of April, 1993. At the age of 10, her family relocated to a small country town in Queensland on the outskirts of Brisbane where she grew up and was raised. After graduating from Tamborine Mountain State High School in 2010, Tandy found herself working Business Administration for the department of economic development at the gold coast city council, which lead to her assisting in location scouting for big budget productions filming in Queensland. She found her love in film during this period, aspiring to work as an assistant director which soon led to her passion for acting. In 2013 she landed her first support role on a local short film, People You May Know (2016), which was entered in the 2014 Tropfest competition and from that she scored the lead role on a well-known country musician's music video.

Actress/singer/songwriter Kathleen LaGue has had quite a journey prior to starring in Razortooth (2007). The third of six children born into an artistic and musically enriched Midwestern family, Kathleen was raised modestly in a two-bedroom house where creativity and self-expression, often in the form of singing and dancing, were fostered. She graduated with honors from Tonganoxie High School, a small town high school on the outskirts of Kansas City, Kansas.
Though her initial passion and inspiration lie in acting and singing in the theatre, she was given--and took--the opportunity to attend college on an art scholarship, and graduated from Baker University cum laude in Art and Psychology before relocating to New York City to pursue her dreams. Thriving on the energy of the big city, she joined a rock band, taught aerobics, and modeled on 7th Avenue for Calvin Klein, Levis and Ferragamo while studying voice and acting in commercials. Her professional singing career began with singing standards and Top-40 in wedding bands and belting Broadway tunes on cruise ships. She toured internationally with Portuguese star Fernando Pereira in a three-girl trio known as "The New York Singers," playing sold-out arenas in Portugal, Brazil and Atlantic City.
LaGue moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she honed her songwriting and guitar-playing skills with some of the most gifted musicians in the country. The collective talents of Tom Bukovac (Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Keith Urban), Will Rambeaux (Faith Hill, Shari Austin) and Shawn Fichter (Trisha Yearwood, Peter Frampton, John Fogerty) helped forge Kathleen's rock and pop roots into her first self-penned and -produced CD, the eponymous "Kathleen LaGue". Released independently on her own label, Lioness Records, it was an immediate success, with over 250,000 internet downloads. "I couldn't have made that record without the community of incredible songwriters and musicians in Nashville", she said. In support of her album, Kathleen toured the country, opening for the likes of Counting Crows, Live, Pete Yorn, Chris Whitley, John Hiatt, Patty Griffin and others. The USO then gave her the opportunity to perform before US troops stationed overseas. She and her band toured military bases in Greenland, Japan, Korea, Guam and remote islands in the South Pacific.
Kathleen's career focus shifted towards acting when she was cast in a lead role in a PAX television pilot that was shooting in Nashville. Later, she was spotted by a CBS Senior VP of Casting in a Nicoderm CQ national commercial and was called in to audition for several series regular roles prior to relocating to L.A. in 2002. While she has emerged as a successful voice-over actor, leading her own loop group, she continues to be cast in feature films, having roles in many recent films: Universal's American Pie Presents: Band Camp (2005) in which she plays a feisty receptionist, "The Eye" (2008) playing a nurse, and a starring role as Sheriff Ruth Gainey-Coates," the strong female lead in the horror feature "Razortooth," a Lionsgate film released in June 2009.
Returning to her singing career in 2010, LaGue performs with the Angel City Big Band as a lead singer, and has formed an all girl singing trio called "Fever" while continuing to write songs for her next studio album.- Leah Cairns was born on 2 June 1974 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
