Bora Bora Bora (11 Jul. 2013) - Tracee Chimo Pallero was born Tracee Ann Chimo to parents Deborah and Bruce Chimo, in a small town just north of Boston, Massachusetts called Saugus. She has Albanian, Irish, and Italian ancestry. Kevin Chimo is her younger brother.
Due to audience and critical acclaim in three dynamic and wonderfully diverse roles on the New York stage, the last several years have brought this young and extremely inspired actress much success.
Tracee first came on the scene in 2009 when she originated the role of a shy, lovable, 16 year old, mousy nerd named Lauren in Annie Baker's 'circle mirror transformation'. Her "Chaplin-like" physical comedy, mixed with her ability to break your heart, garnered her much praise in the industry and she quickly became the show's breakout star with the NY Times calling her, "a master of the comic-silent reaction."
After a much extended run at Playwrights Horizons, she went on to stun audiences and critics once again in Leslye Headland's dark comedy, 'Bachelorette'. Almost unrecognizable to audiences, Chimo transformed herself into the character, Reagan. A vicious, conniving, manipulative, drug addict who prowled the stage like a lioness about to pounce her prey.
From there she shot her first film, Judd Apatow's The Five-Year Engagement (2012), and spent some time living and working in Los Angeles, CA.
She wasn't there long. Shortly after making the move from NY to LA, she was called to star opposite Jim Parsons and Jessica Hecht in Roundabout Theatre Company's 2012 production of 'Harvey' on Broadway at Studio 54. Tracee was once again playing against type and very well received as the buoyantly love hungry Myrtle Mae Simmons.
However the role that would soon change her career came immediately after 'Harvey' closed it's doors. She was cast as Daphna Feygenbaum, the antagonist in Roundabout's wildly dark and funny new play 'Bad Jews'. After her 4 month starring turn as this unapologetic and shockingly loyal traditionalist, she's since gone on to shoot more films, and had a major role on Netflix's hit show 'Orange is the New Black' in which she recurred as the earthy-crunchy, Neri Feldman.
She wrapped filming on 'The Good Wife' and starred in the remount of 'Bad Jews' which, due to its incredibly successful first run, was transferred to the beautiful Laura Pels Theatre in New York City.
Tracee Chimo the recent recipient of the 2013 Rising Star Award, and was nominated for Outer Critic's Circle and Drama League Awards for her performance in 'Bad Jews'. Other awards include the 2011 Clarence Derwent Award for 'Most Promising Actress in New York', a 2010 Drama Desk Award, OBIE Award, and two Lucille Lortel nominations in the 'Best Actress' category for her exquisitely unique work."Neri Feldman"

Diane Guerrero (born July 21, 1986) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Maritza Ramos on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black and Lina on Jane the Virgin. Among her other roles was a recurring role on Are We There Yet? Guerrero grew up in Boston and remained there after the rest of her family was deported to Colombia. She is an advocate for immigration reform. Her role on Orange Is the New Black has twice contributed to wins for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Guerrero was born in New Jersey to Colombian parents and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. As the only member of her immediate family with United States citizenship (by virtue of being born in the country), she remained in the U.S. when her parents and older brother were deported back to Colombia when she was 14. Her parents had pursued legal citizenship, but had been fraudulently represented. Guerrero's niece, who also grew up without a strong family support system, later served time in jail.
Guerrero was raised in the Jamaica Plain and Roxbury neighborhoods of Boston after being taken in by other Colombian families. She has had an interest in acting since a young age and took advantage of free opportunities in the neighborhood or at school. Then she attended Boston Arts Academy, a performing arts high school, where she was in the music department. Among her high school activities was singing with a jazz group, but she anticipated pursuing political science and communications in college. In 2010, she appeared in the Faces music video that was shot in Norwood, Massachusetts for Louie Bello. Her first job after college was in a law office. At age 24, she decided to pursue a career in acting. In 2011, she moved to New York City and studied acting at the Susan Batson Studios where she met her manager Josh Taylor. Guerrero's life experience compels her to advocate for immigration reform and is an influence that she draws upon in her acting.
She auditioned for a role on Devious Maids, but was cast in Orange is the New Black, where she plays a Bronx-bred character that is Colombian. For season 2, she was part of the cast that earned recognition for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series at the 21st Screen Actors Guild Awards. The cast earned recognition for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series again at the 22nd Screen Actors Guild Awards. She has had a recurring role on Are We There Yet?.
In 2014, she appeared in Emoticon ;), a comedy about a May-December romance in which her character's father is involved with a doctoral candidate. Her performance in this film as Amanda ("Mandy") Nevins, an adopted teenage child, elicited positive criticism such as a description of a "well-drawn smaller moment" that was "beautifully rendered" according to Frank Scheck of The Hollywood Reporter and a performance that "command sympathy" according to Inkoo Kang of the Los Angeles Times.
One of her upcoming roles is as an 1800s Cuban confederate spy, loosely based on the life of Loreta Janeta Velazquez, for Peter and John. She was cast in The CW's series Jane the Virgin in a recurring role. In February 2015, Guerrero was cast as the female lead in CBS' television pilot for Super Clyde, but the show was not picked up for series when CBS announced its fall schedule in May. Guerrero has upcoming film roles in Happy Yummy Chicken, Beyond Control and The Godmother.
In 2016, Guerrero released In the Country We Love: My Family Divided a memoir about her parents being detained and deported when she was fourteen. The book's written with Michelle Burford and published by Henry Holt and Co."Maritza Ramos"

He landed the recurring role of Detective Mike Roberts on NYPD Blue while still living in New York City, a role that recurred for six seasons. In addition he has appeared in over 60 television and film projects here in Los Angeles since his arrival in 1995.
His credits in film include Erin Brockovich (2000), Turbulence (1997), Warden of Red Rock (2001), Sonic Impact (1999), Shade (2003), and Captivity (2007) directed by Roland Joffé. He has also appeared in Ocean's Thirteen (2007) directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Freestyle Dancer (uncredited)- Laryssa Lauret (a.k.a. Lysniak) was an American actress of Ukrainian descent. She had worked on Broadway, as well as off Broadway, and in television in long running roles, such as Dr. Karen Werner in "The Doctors" and for two years in "The Guiding Light" as Simone Morey. Her most notable film role was in "Everything Is Illuminated" as Lista. Laryssa made a name for herself both on the Ukrainian and American stage, and in American television and film. She was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1932 and after World War II, after a brief stop in an Austrian displaced persons (DP) camp (most likely Landeck), her family found themselves in a DP camp near Munich, Germany from where with only baggage in hand, they made their way to New York on August 3rd, 1947. Always an outstanding academic student, Laryssa graduated from Textile High School in Manhattan, and was admitted to Hunter College where she graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree. She then pursued a graduate degree from Columbia University, graduating as a Master of Fine Arts. She pursued some painting and sculpting, creating several works in each media. She actually began her acting studies as a child in Austria studying at the Saltzburg Theater and Film Institute and continued here in New York with the Hirniak and Dobrovolska Studio, highly regarded in the Ukrainian expat community, as well as under the tutelage of Lee Strasburg's Actor's Studio and Uta Hagen's well known Herbert Berghof Studio. Under Hirniak's and Dobrowolska'a tutelage and mentoring she appeared in several Ukrainian plays directed by them (starting at age twelve in the first one). After marrying Wolodymyr Lysniak, who studied theatre at Columbia and directing at Yale, she starred as Lady Anna in "Kaminnyi Hospodar (1966), directed by Wolodymyr (a.k.a.Walter) at the Experimental Ukrainian Theater Group. At that time, she also starred in "The Exhibit", a play that she wrote, played Maria in "Fated" and also appeared in "Famine" under the mentorship and direction of her husband. It was at this stage of her life that she also penned another play, "Restitution" about an emigrant family crisis due to clashes between traditional Ukrainian versus more contemporary American values. Along with her husband, who is a well known director in his own right in the Ukrainian American community, she often performed dramatic readings at various Ukrainian events. She was often heard on the Voice of America and Svoboda radio programs, which were transmitted to Soviet Ukraine. Laryssa's acting resume is even broader, beginning with Broadway, where she appeared as Hellevi in "Paris is out," (with Molly Picon and Sam Levene), as Hilda in Tennessee Williams' "The Night of the Iguana", (with Bette Davis and Shelley Winters), as Natasha in "Julia, Jake and Uncle Joe", (with Claudette Colbert). In film, Laryssa appeared in the Film Noir"Encounter", also in "The Prude and La Parisienne with Dom de Louise, and in her finest film role, as the female lead, Lista, in the Warner Bros. film "Everything is Illuminated", with Elijah Wood, directed by Liev Schreiber (2005). She was also well known for her TV work, as for over ten (10) years she portrayed Dr. Karen Werner on the NBC-TV soap opera series "The Doctors", and for two years she portrayed Simone Morey on the CBS-TV soap opera series "The Guiding Light". Laryssa also made many appearances on "The Alcoa Hour", "The U.S. Steel Hour" and "The Catholic Hour" Off Broadway she was even more active, appearing at various theaters in "HUNGER", "THE EXHIBIT", "Don Juan", "The Chair", "Creditors", "One-Eyed Man is King", "The Doomed", "Trojan Women", "Forest Song", "The Boor", "Minna Von Barnhelm", and in "Name Day" (2005) at the Barrow Theatre. In summer stock she played in "Marriage-Go-Round", "Boeing Boeing", "Skin of Our Teeth" and "Music at Night". In regional theater she starred as the Dowager Empress, Maria Feodorovna in "Anastasia", as the Grand Duchess, Olga Katrina in "You Can't Take It With You", as Miss Liz Truesdale in "Murder Takes the Stage" (all in 2001-2004), and as Baroness Lemberg in "White Liars" (2009). In addition, Laryssa appeared in the made-for-TV-Movie, "Who Was Bernie Block" (2006), in a movie short, "Crumbs" (2007) and as Trudy in "Gods Behaving Badly" (2013) with Sharon Stone (set for release in 2015).
Laryssa had also appeared in countless commercials and most recently she portrayed Pavla (mother of Healey's wife) in the hit Netflix comedy/ drama series "Orange is the New Black" (in two episodes in 2013). Laryssa's acting credits are impressive but what she will truly be remembered for, and also missed for, is her real character in everyday LIFE. Laryssa believed that we are here on this earth to serve others. That is the way she lived her life each and every day. She put everyone before herself. She was willing to give a helping hand to whomever needed it, to fill out a form for someone, to drive someone to where they needed to go, or to reach out and call a homebound senior to let them know that they are not alone. Even in her last days, when a spiritual counselor asked her what she wished for, Laryssa answered "I want to get healthy, so that I can continue to serve others."
Laryssa will be missed by all, but let us all take comfort in her life's credo: "All IS well".Orange Is the New Black: Season 1, Episode 7

Katherine Kiernan Mulgrew, or Kate Mulgrew, was born on April 29, 1955. She grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, the second oldest child (and oldest girl) in a large Irish Catholic family. When Kate expressed an interest in acting as a child, her mother, Joan, encouraged her to audition for local theater productions. Kate left Iowa for New York City at age 17 to pursue a career in acting. Kate was accepted into the Stella Adler Conservatory (part of New York University's acting program) and studied there for only a year, as she landed the lead role in the ABC soap opera Ryan's Hope in 1975, vaulting her to instant stardom.
At the same time she was filming Ryan's Hope, Kate played the role of Emily in the American Shakespeare Theatre's production of "Our Town" in Stratford, Connecticut. At age 23, following her success on Ryan's Hope, Kate was offered the lead role of Kate Columbo in "Mrs. Columbo," playing the wife of one of television's most beloved detectives, Lt. Columbo, as made famous by actor Peter Falk. While critically successful, the series was canceled after two seasons.
In 1981, Mulgrew co-starred with Richard Burton and Nicholas Clay in Lovespell, a film set in the era of Arthurian legend, as Irish princess Isolt, whose love story with Tristan is a classic tale of doomed love. That same year, Kate co-starred with Pierce Brosnan in the six-hour miniseries, The Manions of America, set in 19th century America just before the start of the Civil War. In 1985, she had a notable role in Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins as officer Major Fleming. In 1986, Kate appeared in a number of of Cheers episodes as congresswoman Janet Eldridge, a love interest for series lead Sam Malone (Ted Danson). In 1987, she appeared in Throw Momma from the Train as Margaret, Billy Crystal's ex-wife.
In 1992, Kate appeared on several episodes of Murphy Brown as Hillary Wheaton, a Toronto-based anchorwoman brought in to replace Murphy Brown during her maternity leave, but who also struggled with alcoholism (just as Brown did at the beginning of the series). Also in 1992, she played a guest-starring role as a soap opera star who kills her husband and tries to cover it up, on Murder, She Wrote, episode #170, titled "Ever After". Kate also guest-starred in three episodes of Batman: The Animated Series as the terrorist Red Claw. Kate has gone on to do a great deal of voice work for animated series and video games.
Shortly after, Kate married theater director Robert H. Egan in 1982. They have two sons, Ian Thomas and Alexander James. The two officially divorced in 1995.
More notably in 1995, Kate received a call that a part for which she'd auditioned but another actress had been chosen for - Captain Kathryn Janeway, the first female Star Trek captain. The first actress quit within two days of beginning production, leading producers to call Kate back and offer her the role. Star Trek: Voyager, as the newly-created UPN's flagship network show, had found its captain. Kate portrayed Janeway for seven seasons, and also appeared briefly in Star Trek: Nemesis as Admiral Kathryn Janeway.
Mulgrew played Katharine Hepburn in the one-woman play "Tea at Five", debuting in Hartford, Connecticut in 2002 and going on to tour across the U.S. after a stint on Broadway. For this role, Kate received a Lucille Lortel nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress, an Outer Critics Circle nomination for Outstanding Solo Performance, Broadway.com's Audience Award for Favorite Solo Performance, and won the award for Best Actress at the 29th Carbonell Awards for her portrayal of Katharine Hepburn, all in 2003.
Kate married Tim Hagan, former Ohio gubernatorial candidate and former commissioner of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in April 1999. The two divorced in 2014.
From 2003 to 2013, Kate had many memorable television appearances, including stints on The Black Donnellys, Mercy, cult favorite Warehouse 13, and NTSF:SD:SUV. In 2013, Kate began work on Netflix breakout out Orange Is The New Black as the wildly popular prison chef Galina "Red" Reznikov. OITNB is set to conclude in the summer of 2019.
Kate is also an author of two memoirs - 2016's Born With Teeth (Little Brown) and 2019's How To Forget: A Daughter's Memoir (Harper Collins). She is filming the newest season of Mr. Mercedes, a serial killer drama based on Stephen King's Bill Hodges trilogy. Mr. Mercedes airs on the AT&T Audience network and can be streamed on DirecTV."Galina 'Red' Reznikov"

After only a year of performing stand-up, he made his debut television appearance as a finalist on BET's stand up comedy competition show Coming to the Stage alongside comedians Kim Coles, Bruce Bruce and Lil Duval. Two years later, he was a semi-finalist with comedians Tiffany Haddish and Lil Rel on Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes (TV One) and also appeared on Jamie Foxx Presents Laffapalooza (Comedy Central), hosted by Anthony Anderson. In the same year, NBC/Universal held their annual nationwide search for the top diverse comics in the country. This search, known as Stand Up NBC, selected Cory as a finalist out of a pool of hundreds of entrants. Three years later, he made his HBO debut, sharing the stage with one of the Original Kings of Comedy - D.L. Hughley, becoming the first Puerto Rican to perform on Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam. Four years after his TV debut on Coming To The Stage, Cory made a return to BET when he performed with Kevin Hart on Comic View: One Mic Stand, shortly followed by an appearance on The Mo'Nique Show.
He has since made his first transition to acting in the Warner Bros film Cop Out starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks); other acting credits include Mercy (NBC), I Just Want My Pants Back (MTV), Kony Montana (sharing scenes with Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones), and Womack (HBO) starring Rob Morgan (Mudbound, Stranger Things) and Clifton Powell (Black Lightning, Saints & Sinners). Shortly after filming Cop Out, Cory returned to Comedy Central to tape Live at Gotham, hosted by comedian Jo Koy. The following year, he made his NBC late-night debut on Byron Allen's Comedy TV.
Cory booked a principal role in an HBO pilot entitled Da Brick. Spike Lee directed, Mike Tyson & Doug Ellin (creator of Entourage) produced, and John Ridley (Academy Award winning writer from 12 Years A Slave) wrote the screenplay. He had the pleasure of sharing the screen with Rosie Perez who played his character's mom and John Boyega (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker).
Cory recently relocated to Los Angeles from his hometown New York City and continues to perform at comedy clubs and colleges across the country and around the world. He has toured overseas in countries like England, Germany and Japan, entertaining troops for the U.S. Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force. Look out for him on the Netflix original series: Orange Is The New Black, White Collar (USA), The Following (FOX) starring Kevin Bacon, the Boston Comedy Festival and Laugh Tonight with Damon Williams on UrbanflixTV.Orange Is the New Black: Season 1, Episode 8
