The son of writer/producer/actor Dwight Hauser, who worked on (amongst many other projects) the classic "Whistler" radio series, and Geraldine Hauser (the daughter of author Tom Thieness), he raised a child as a single father, having arrived in Hollywood "with thirty dollars and a box of pampers" - and actually earned his career accomplishments with hard work and dedication. He is the father of actor Cole Hauser.
Wings Hauser married his young music and filmmaking partner, actress/filmmaker Cali Lili on June 12, 2012. Having often been compared to Richard Widmark for some of his "mean" roles, he has played a variety of equally remarkable roles in films and on TV. After a high-school career centered in sports (his name "Wings" is taken from the wing-back position he played in football), he chose to lean toward the arts - acting and music (including an album of his original music for RCA) - instead of pursuing professional sports. Having descended from an artistic and talented family, this choice was a heartfelt one.- Actor

Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs was born in New York City. He is one of nine children born to Hilton and Clothilda Jacobs. Larry, as his family and friends call him, attended public schools in New York City, so he has first-hand knowledge of what it is like to be a student in a big-city high school like the one pictured on "Welcome Back, Kotter." After high school, Larry worked at an odd assortment of jobs before turning to acting. First, he was a delivery boy, then a florist, then a messenger boy, and then a stock boy in a department store. His first "real important job," as he puts it, was as a freelance artist and package designer. This introduction to the world of the arts made up for all of the menial jobs he had performed while waiting to find himself. While working as an artist, Larry became interested in acting and began studying at Al Fann's Theatrical School and then with the Negro Ensemble Company. These are two all-black acting companies which produce experimental plays in New York City. They also train promising young black actors in the performing arts. With these companies, Larry acted in such plays as "Cora's Second Cousin," "The Dean," "What the Wine Sellers Buy," "Mask in Black," and "The Exterminator." None of these productions made him famous, but they did bring him to the attention of film casting directors. He was given parts in the movies Claudine (1974) and Cooley High (1975). Cooley High (1975) was Larry's big breakthrough in show business. It was because of this film that he was given his 'Boom Boom Washington' role on Welcome Back, Kotter (1975). He also had two important roles in major made-for-television features, "The Sojourner" and the tremendously popular Roots (1977). Besides acting, Larry also sings, plays the piano and writes music.- Actor

(1984), alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, and the violent Cold War invasion drama Red Dawn (1984). His career was not helped by the controversial racial comedy Soul Man (1986), which was not well-received. Kevin Smith called her an American Pop Icon and John Waters called her the ultimate bad girl. While her early notoriety brought her international fame, her determination, grit, and talent have garnered her respect in many areas of the entertainment industry. She has appeared in dozens of films and television shows such as Roger Corman's cult classic Not of This Earth, John Water's Crybaby, Marvel's Blade, Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno, to the award-winning Excision; from Melrose Place, Roseanne, Will & Grace to series regular roles on NBC's Profiler and Syfy's First Wave. Her memoir Traci Lords Underneath It All (HarperCollins) was a NY Times Bestseller, and her pioneering techno album 1000 Fires topped the Billboard Dance Chart and was featured on both the Mortal Combat and Virtuosity soundtracks earning double platinum status. Lords is an award-winning voice over artist and has a vintage inspired line of clothing. In 2020, she made her stage debut as Gloria in the revival of Tom Eyen's cult classic Women Behind Bar which is now streaming on Broadway World.
Lords is an Ohio native born to Patricia and Louis Kuzma. Young Nora Louise Kuzma spent her early days in rural Steubenville, Ohio shuttled between her divorced parent's houses. It was then that her mother began a relationship with a man named Roger Hayes and relocated to Southern California. Teenage Nora missed her father terribly and began to treat Roger as a father figure. Her mother eventually realized that Roger was not the man she had thought he was and ended the relationship but left Nora in Roger's care, claiming she was overwhelmed and couldn't provide for the teenager. In Traci's memoir Underneath It All, she states that Roger groomed her for nude modeling and sex trafficked her at that time. Porn agent Jim South has confirmed in various interviews that it was Roger Hayes who brought the 15-year-old to his office in Van Nuys, California in 1984. Armed with a fake ID, no one questioned the stunning woman-child who signed on as a figure model which eventually led to adult films. With her rebellious attitude and stunning looks, she shot to stardom quickly in the X-rated world.
In May 1986, the Traci Lords story broke. The media had a field day with the tale of the troubled bad girl who tricked the porn world. The FBI questioned Lords and announced that because she was a minor, she was not responsible and that all films that featured her must be destroyed. Lords was never arrested or charged with any crimes but was punished in other ways. She was forced to pay estimated taxes on her purported income. And has faced years of criticism and ridicule because of her history in adult movies but eventually carved an impressive body of work in mainstream Hollywood where she continues to thrive today. 1980's TV heartthrob Jack Scalia, a Brooklyn native of Italian descent, was born Giacomo Tomaso Tedesco on November 10, 1950. The son of former Brooklyn Dodger Rocky Teseco, Jack's name was changed to his stepfather's surname after his mother remarried. Raised in Brentwood, NY, he was considered an All-American athlete by the time he graduated from Brentwood High School in 1969. He went on to play three sports through college while participating in four triathlons and six marathons.
A promising pitcher for the Montreal Expos, an injury ended his three-year pro career. In 1975, he took advantage of his muscular build and macho good looks by modeling with Armani, later joining the Ford Modeling Agency and signing on as the "Jordache Jeans Man". In January 1980, Scalia made a surprisingly easy transition into acting, which led to his first film role in the mini-movie The Star Maker (1981) starring the late Rock Hudson.
The blue-eyed, cleft-chinned hunk got his first taste of series stardom as an unshaven, rough-and-tough detective who joins forces with his slick and debonair father (Hudson again) in the TV series, The Devlin Connection (1982). Though the series had a short life, Scalia received scads of attention. His more popular credits during this busy time included I'll Take Manhattan (1987), Ring of Scorpio (1991), Lady Boss (1992) and Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story (1993), playing infamous tabloid news maker Joey Buttafuoco, with Alyssa Milano as his teenage object of desire.
Though Scalia didn't quite manage to scale the super star heights of a Tom Selleck or Pierce Brosnan, the tall, dark, handsome actor remained a durable "ladies' man" and "man's man" for over three decades. Never finding that one smash series that would have put him over the top, he would headline or co-star in a near-record nine TV shows that kept him constantly in the running, including Hollywood Beat (1985), Wolf (1989), Tequila and Bonetti (1992) and Pointman (1995). Nabbing a recurring role on Remington Steele (1982) and an early season on Dallas (1978), Jack later joined the cast of All My Children (1970) for a period of time in 2001, earning a daytime Emmy nomination in the process. He also copped a recurring role in 2003 on the dramatic series Saints & Sinners (2016)
Living in Rome during the early 1990's, he returned and moved into typical hero/villain roles in low-budget thrillers and good-looking lovers in romantic comedies/dramas with flicks include The Rift (1990) (aka "Endless Descent"), Illicit Behavior (1992), Amore! (1993), Under Oath (1997), Boys Klub (2001), Shattered Lies (2002), Red Eye (2005), Honeymoon with Mom (2006), Act of War (1998) and Ground Zero (2000). He also received assorted producing credits for other on-camera films including T-Force (1994), The Silencers (1996), Dark Breed (1996), Follow Your Heart (1999), The Genius Club (2006) and Black Widow (2010).
Jack made his stage debut in 1994 as a former Vietnam vet in the Pulitzer Prize-nominated play "Red River Rats" in Los Angeles. Divorced twice, Jack was married to one-time model Joan Rankin and then to Karen Baldwin, a former "Miss Universe" (1982). He has two daughters, Olivia and Jacqueline, from his second marriage.- Actress
