Bush's military service that could get Robert Redford as Dan Rather and Cate Blanchett as Mary Mapes some Oscar buzz and attention.
- DirectorDavid Gordon GreenStarsSandra BullockBilly Bob ThorntonAnthony MackieA battle-hardened American political consultant is sent to help re-elect a controversial president in Bolivia, where she must compete with a long-term rival working for another candidate.A comedy drama film of politics and based on a documentary film directed by Pineapple Express' David Gordon Green and produce by George Clooney that has moved to this October. The two become best friends. But Anna gradually discovers that Marnie is not quite who she appears to be.Being declared the last Studio Ghibli film before they announced they will take a break from production. This animated film might make a surprise at the announcement of the nominations of the 88th Academy Awards, but me I know what the surprise at these nomination announcements since I know the Academy Awards loves foreign animated films a lot and some American animated films, since American animated films aren't doing too good than foreign animated films these days.
- DirectorRoger AllersGaëtan BrizziPaul BrizziStarsLiam NeesonSalma HayekQuvenzhané WallisExiled artist and poet Mustafa embarks on a journey home with his housekeeper and her daughter; together the trio must evade the authorities who fear that the truth in Mustafa's words will incite rebellion. The Lion King's Roger Allers directs and leads some of the world's greatest animation directors to make a beautiful animated film based on a novel as old as time that might make a surprise at the nominations for the 88th Academy Awards since this is distribute by legendary foreign animation distributor GKIDS.

With two animated films that will go against in the race for Best Animated Feature, but only one might be better and great while the other not. This one is about what is inside our mind and who gives us these emotions inside our head. While this idea has been done a lot, director Pete Doctor of Monsters, Inc. might make this already done idea into a great movie (like how he did with Monsters, Inc. which was another movie of an already idea that became a animated classic) with new stuff and a story with changes that can make kids love it.
- DirectorPeter SohnStarsJeffrey WrightFrances McDormandMaleah Nipay-PadillaIn a world where dinosaurs and humans live side-by-side, an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. The second PIXAR film that is coming to theaters this year is about in another universe where dinosaurs are still alive in caveman times and one dinosaur becomes friends with a cave boy on his journey. But this film might not be good for Oscars due to this idea has been done may times and had production problems that made it move from 2014 to this year.
- DirectorMark OsborneStarsJeff BridgesMackenzie FoyRachel McAdamsA little girl lives in a very grown-up world with her mother, who tries to prepare her for it. Her neighbor, the Aviator, introduces the girl to an extraordinary world where anything is possible, the world of the Little Prince.Mark Osborne, animated Academy Award legend of Kung Fu Panda and More makes another adaption of the famous Little Prince story, this time animated, which could get him another nomination for Best Animated Feature.

A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it's up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.Legendary stop-motion studio Aardman Animations returns to film with a film staring Shuan the Sheep from Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave and his own show with the same name that is getting good early reviews that could get it in the Academy Awards race for Best Animated Feature if it comes out in American theaters this year.
- DirectorSteve MartinoStarsNoah SchnappBill MelendezHadley Belle MillerSnoopy embarks upon his greatest mission as he and his team take to the skies to pursue their archnemesis, while his best pal Charlie Brown begins his own epic quest back home to win the love of his life. The Peanuts gang return in there own motion picture since 1980, but since it is been made by Blue Sky Studios (which is a bad animation studio now a days due to it's pointless celebrity voice acting to bad humor) might not get it Academy Awards attention. Unless there is a good music score like the other Peanuts media and if the animation is really great (that the trailers showed us) with the story (that also should be great for Peanuts fans and critics to movie buffs like me).
- DirectorTim JohnsonStarsJim ParsonsRihannaSteve MartinAn alien on the run from his own people makes friends with a girl. He tries to help her on her quest, but can be an interference. When I saw the trailer for it I feel that casting Jim Parsons and Rihanna in this film is a bad idea and makes me say "Okay! No more DreamWorks Animation films for me, they clearly have given up!" Like how Doug Walker was with the trailer for The Emperor's New Grove. But this could be DreamWorks' The Emperor's New Grove, which could get it in the race, but might have the same problems as it like animation critics panning the idea of DreamWorks Animation doing a buddy buddy road trip movie while they praise some of the animation and might find Steve Martin as Captain Smek more funny and the best part of the film like Eartha Kitt and Patrick Warburton as Yzma and Kronk in The Emperor's New Grove.
- DirectorSeth MacFarlaneStarsMark WahlbergSeth MacFarlaneAmanda SeyfriedNewlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he's a person in a court of law. After his failure with A Million Ways to Die in the West which was declared as one of the worst movies of last year. - DirectorThomas VinterbergStarsCarey MulliganMatthias SchoenaertsMichael SheenIn Victorian England, the independent and headstrong Bathsheba Everdene attracts three very different suitors: Gabriel Oak, a sheep farmer; Frank Troy, a reckless Sergeant; and William Boldwood, a prosperous and mature bachelor. The Hunt's Thomas Vinterberg makes another remake of Far from the Madding Crowd which is more there for us to like the production designs and costume designs.
- DirectorPeyton ReedStarsPaul RuddMichael DouglasCorey StollArmed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, pull off a plan that will save the world. After Marvel Entertainment had three of their films nominated for this year. Will they have the same luck this year with three of their films release this year that are Ant-Man, Fantastic Four and Avengers: Age of Ultron? First up is Ant-Man which looks great and right for Best Visual Effects with the other Marvel Entertainment films of a man who has a suit that can make him the size of an ant and makes him more stronger.
- DirectorJoss WhedonStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansMark RuffaloWhen Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it's up to Earth's mightiest heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plan.Avengers are back in their second film that looks bigger and better than the first film that when watching the trailer, the film will definitely get a nomination for Best Visual Effects.
- DirectorJosh TrankStarsMiles TellerKate MaraMichael B. JordanFour young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe which alters their physical form in shocking ways. The four must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. This reboot of Fantastic Four looks dark and a little better than the original films, with Chronicle's Josh Trank directing which can get some attention for Best Visual Effects with the other Marvel Films unless this film might have some big problems.
- DirectorJ.J. AbramsStarsDaisy RidleyJohn BoyegaOscar IsaacAs a new threat to the galaxy rises, Rey, a desert scavenger, and Finn, an ex-stormtrooper, must join Han Solo and Chewbacca to search for the one hope of restoring peace.J.J. Abrams is a love or hate director, moves from Star Trek to Star Wars, in the Star Trek: The Next Generation of Star Wars that can get some visual effects awards. But I wore about this film more than others because when you get to a part 7 of a series, especially a series that is old, there is going to be a bad problem and this film might have the same problems as Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and could be worse than the Star Wars prequels which could affect it's chance for Award session.
- DirectorBrad BirdStarsGeorge ClooneyBritt RobertsonHugh LaurieBound by a shared destiny, a teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor embark on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory.Brad Bird makes his second live action movie that looks like it is worthy for Best Visual Effects, if it gets really good reviews.
- DirectorRon HowardStarsChris HemsworthCillian MurphyBrendan GleesonA recounting of a New England whaling ship's sinking by a giant whale in 1820, an experience that later inspired the great novel Moby-Dick.Ron Howard returns to film, in a film about a ship crew going against a Moby Dick like whale that could get some awards for only art, costume design, sound and visual effects for a really big ship destroying whale.
- DirectorRidley ScottStarsMatt DamonJessica ChastainKristen WiigAn astronaut becomes stranded on Mars after his team assume him dead, and must rely on his ingenuity to find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive and can survive until a potential rescue.Ridley Scott returns to his sci-fi film roots with a promising survival space film that is right for Best Visual Effects, but can it get Ridley Scott back to the Awards and fame?
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigChristoph WaltzLéa SeydouxA cryptic message from James Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover the existence of a sinister organisation named SPECTRE. With a new threat dawning, Bond learns the terrible truth about the author of all his pain in his most recent missions.Sam Mendes of American Beauty returns to James Bond after the success of Skyfall in a Bond movie about James Bond discovering the evil truth behind his old arch-nemesis SPECTRE which is right for Best Sound Editing and Mixing, Best Original Song and Original Score for Thomas Newman.
- DirectorGil KenanStarsSam RockwellRosemarie DeWittKennedi ClementsA family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces must come together to rescue their youngest daughter after the apparitions take her captive.Sam Raimi of Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 teams up with Monster House's Gil Kenan to make his second haunting house movie which is a remake of the 1982 Horror classic Poltergeist which could get a nomination for Best Visual Effects seen how the first two original films got those nominations, if it is a good remake. But if it is a good remake, Steven Spielberg and his two films he is producing and directing (St. James Place and Jurassic World) will be up against the remake of his original creation that he wrote.
- DirectorColin TrevorrowStarsChris PrattBryce Dallas HowardTy SimpkinsA new theme park, built on the original site of Jurassic Park, creates a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, which escapes containment and goes on a killing spree. The trailer for this fourth Jurassic Park movie looks like it will be a darker film and makes it look like the original film that it can get a nomination for Best Visual Effects if this film won't be worse than Jurassic Park III, which I am worried about.
- DirectorScott CooperStarsJohnny DeppBenedict CumberbatchDakota JohnsonThe true story of Whitey Bulger, the brother of a state senator and the most infamous violent criminal in the history of South Boston, who became an FBI informant to take down a Mafia family invading his turf. This movie of American's famous legendary gangster directed by Crazy Heart and the man who got Jeff Bridges his first Oscar Scott Cooper. Might get a nomination for Make Up for turning Johnny Deep in a middle age bald man.
- DirectorGeorge MillerStarsTom HardyCharlize TheronNicholas HoultIn a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a woman rebels against a tyrannical ruler in search for her homeland with the aid of a group of female prisoners, a psychotic worshiper and a drifter named Max.This new Mad Max movie is getting great reviews and a 99% on Rotten Tomatoes that this film might get some Oscar attention for Sound and maybe Cinematography and Visual Effects since this film is made by Oscar legend and creator of famous Academy Award films like Babe and Happy Feet, George Miller.
- DirectorLana WachowskiLilly WachowskiStarsChanning TatumMila KunisEddie RedmayneA young woman discovers her destiny as an heiress of intergalactic nobility and must fight to protect the inhabitants of Earth from an ancient and destructive industry. This film may have got some really bad reviews, but us make-up fans and experts love it's make up for turning people into aliens, monsters and red to blue color people that could get in the race for Best Make Up.
- DirectorAlex GarlandStarsAlicia VikanderDomhnall GleesonOscar IsaacA young programmer is selected to participate in a ground-breaking experiment in synthetic intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a highly advanced humanoid A.I.This sci-fi masterpiece is getting a lot of praise for it's new tale of A.I. that it could get a nomination for Best Visual Effects if the Oscars can put in the finals for the nomination for Best Visual Effects race.

- DirectorFrancis LawrenceStarsJennifer LawrenceJosh HutchersonLiam HemsworthKatniss and a team of rebels from District 13 prepare for the final battle that will decide the fate of Panem.Final Hunger Games movie is getting hyped that it could get mostly nominated for Best Original Song, sound or film editing.
- DirectorGuy RitchieStarsHenry CavillArmie HammerAlicia VikanderIn the early 1960s, CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization, which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons.Guy Ritchie moves from Sherlock Holmes to his own version of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. that it could get some attention for sound, costume design, film editing, cinematography or effects if it can be good as the trailer promised us. Also it is good to see Henry Cavill fun and not bland like in that awful train-wreck Man of Steel. Also Man of Steel stills sucks and has destroy what Superman stands for and that Batman vs. Superman movie is going to suck how it looks and who is in it and making it, plus it's release date. I hope the Academy never nominates a DC Comics movie or Zack Synder movie ever. Which I am proud they have been doing lately.
- DirectorChristopher McQuarrieStarsTom CruiseRebecca FergusonJeremy RennerEthan and his team take on their most impossible mission yet when they have to eradicate an international rogue organization as highly skilled as they are and committed to destroying the IMF.Looking at the trailer, this might be the final Mission: Impossible movie to be made. If so, it could be the first Mission: Impossible movie to get an Academy Award nomination for sound or effects. But it's big competition is the new James Bond movie Spectre.
