Louis Jourdan, RIP.
We are saddened to hear of the recent passing of French actor Louis Jourdan. After starting his acting career in 1939, he and his brothers worked with the French Resistance during WWII. In 1948 David O. Selznick invited him to Hollywood and his career took off. He appeared in over 80 roles from the 1930s to the 1990s, often playing an old-fashioned Continental lover.
