A rising Latina from Miami who has made a career in modeling, TV commercials and as an actress - Catalina Rodriguez was born in Medellin, Colombia, her family is that of Spaniard and German descent. At three years old her family relocated to Miami, Florida in search of the American Dream where she was raised along with her older sister, Liliana. As the daughter of Guillermo, a freelance camera man and Maria, a sales rep, Catalina began her life in show business at the young age of five as a cast member in the HIT-TV children's comedy show "Caramelo y Galletita." At 8 years of age she participated in her first pageant and by the time she was 18 years old she had won three major titles, reached the semi-finals in Miss World Colombia and was the runner-up in Teen Magazine's Model Search. These achievements, however, were only a stepping stone into her modeling career, where she modeled for several brands, including BodyGlove and Urban clothing companies, before even attending college.
Determined to go beyond modeling and into her true passion of acting Catalina attended a prestigious magnet program at the Performing Arts and Visual Arts Center (P.A.V.A.C.) where she dedicated all four years of high school to cultivating and honing her skills in the visual and performing arts. There, she performed in various productions, including Miss Sarah Brown in "Guys and Dolls", Maria in "West Side Story" and "Much A Do About Nothing" in Disney's Pleasure Island, among many others.
She then attended the University of Miami where she double majored in Film & Television as well as Theater. Expanding her knowledge beyond acting, she also discovered a talent behind the scenes as a television and video editor; a skill that would help her pay for college by landing part time jobs as a news editor with the local affiliate of NBC- WTVJ channel 6 - as well as other freelance projects. Throughout
After graduating college, Catalina knew that it was time to take her acting career to the next level and made one of the hardest decisions she has ever had to make. Leaving behind her strong family support system and several television and commercial opportunities in Miami, she moved across the country to the west coast on her own.
Today, after four years of living in Los Angeles, Catalina still has no regrets and realizes that no matter how difficult, she has made the best decision in order to further her career. Throughout her journey, her family has remained close and supportive, reminding her everyday that sometimes in order to achieve big dreams and rewards you need to take big risks and make difficult sacrifices - like leaving everything you have ever known behind...including the ones you love.
Throughout her years in Los Angeles Catalina has been represented in the Theatrical division by Steven Neibert at Imperium 7 Talent Agency. Imperium 7 also represents her in the Voice Over division. Commercially she is represented by MKS and Associates. She is also represented by management company McGowan Management. She is part of both unions the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television Radio Artists (AFTRA).
In 2006, Catalina made her film debut in the independent film, "SPIN," where she plays one of the lead roles, Dolores Rosas. "starring Shalim Ortiz (son of Charitin) as well as Fernando Carillo. A story of Latinos striving to attain the American Dream within the sexy Latin Music world of Miami. Infused with sex, passion and betrayal. The film targets a crossover English speaking audience with its fast paced, music and dance driven bitter-sweet drama set in the world of the beautiful, the wealthy and the self made Miami Latino music crowd. This English-language film will attract a Spanish and English speaking audience, both in the U.S and Internationally." The movie premiered in 2007 in selected movie theaters in major cities across the US and can be purchased or viewed at any Blockbuster nationwide.
Catalina continues to study and broaden her skills, methods, techniques and has attended several acting schools in the city such as; Margie Habor, Lesly Kahn, The Beverly Hills Playhouse and Upright Citizen Brigade Theatre.
In July of 2007 Catalina was chosen to be part of Disney /ABC's Television 20th Actors Showcase supporting and creating opportunities for diverse talent, featuring promising upcoming actors. Twelve actors were selected from among more than 600 candidates who submitted their resumes and were auditioned (Catalina being one of them). A three month theatrical preparation is designed for these actors. Casting directors, talent agents and other industry professionals viewed a series of one-act vignettes performed by the actors. The showcase took place at the El Portal Theatre Center for the Performing Arts, on November 14th..
Another great moment for Catalina was when she appeared in a recurring role of 32 episodes on My Network TV series drama, "Watch Over Me," where she played the cunning and wicked temptress, Sasha Hansu.
Most recently we saw her starring in the 3rd season of the episodic thriller, "Dexter" "The Lion Sleeps tonight".
She also shot the feature film "April Fools" and played the role of Salina; the caregiver of an autistic boy.
Her most recent project was the film "Pimp Bullies", directed by Alfonso Rodriguez and shot in the Island of Dominican Republic. Here Catalina portrays the character of Isabel Rodriguez, the lead. A woman but a mother first who sacrifices her life for her son and family and becomes a victim of abuse, drugs and prostitution. Starring Ving Rhames, Adrian Belanni, Hemky Madera, Lizbeth Santos.

Constance was blonde; star sister Norma Talmadge was brunette. She was buoyant and a comedienne; Norma was introspective and a tragedienne. Nicknamed "Dutch" by her stage mother Peg as she looked like a cherubic Little Dutch Boy, silver screen star Constance Talmadge was one of silent pictures' most popular and enduring stars of romantic comedy.
Born in Brooklyn in April 19, 1898 (various sources give different years ranging from 1897 to 1903), her New York City childhood was humbling and tragic. Their father Fred Talmadge was a chronic alcoholic who ultimately deserted his family, which included sister Natalie Talmadge, while all three girls were quite young. By the time Norma had become a commodity for Vitagraph Studios, Constance, in her early teens, begged to follow.
Constance's first comedy short for Vitagraph was In Bridal Attire (1914). As the two sisters were as different as night and day, professional jealousy never entered into the picture. In fact, all three sisters remained consistently loyal throughout their lives. Appearing in a number of two-reel comedies predominantly with comedian Billy Quirk, Constance drew major acclaim in the role of The Mountain Girl in D.W. Griffith's epic masterpiece Intolerance (1916). Her role was so inspiring that when Griffith re-issued her segment as a solo feature entitled The Fall of Babylon (1919), he re-shot her death scene ending so that her character would wind up living happily ever after.
Throughout the late '10s and early '20s the elegant Constance charmed audiences with a number of flapper-era comedy vehicles, many of them co-starring silent film great Harrison Ford (not related to the present-day star). These include A Pair of Silk Stockings (1918), Happiness a la Mode (1919), Romance and Arabella (1919), Wedding Bells (1921) and The Primitive Lover (1922). She grew so much in stature that she eventually formed her own production company. Constance, as did sister Norma, abruptly left films with the advent of sound. The notion that they willingly abandoned their careers while very much on top does not quite ring true. Both she and Norma's pronounced and rather squeaky Brooklyn accent did not prove all that suitable for talkies (particularly for the dramatic Norma) and it's more likely that they left Hollywood on their own terms before they were shunned.
Both sisters invested wisely in business ventures in later life. Married four times, Constance became reclusive and fell victim (as did sisters Norma and Natalie) to alcohol abuse in later years. She died of pneumonia in Los Angeles on November 23, 1973.- Actress

American leading lady, briefly prominent on screen during the 80s and 90's. Blond, gray-eyed Darlanne (whose not very Hollywood-sounding birth name literally translates to 'wing' in German) began her career in 1974 as a model with the Eileen Ford and Zoli Agencies in New York. Seven year later, though very much a success in this most competitive industry (earning $300 per hour) she decided, that, at 25, she "was washed up as a model". Determined to make a serious go of becoming an actress, Darlanne's early film roles instead suggested inevitable typecasting as high fashion models, accentuating allure factor rather than acting ability. As it turned out, more promising offers did come her way, beginning with a role as the chief love interest in Roger Corman's cultish space opera Battle Beyond the Stars (1980). She was then briefly featured as Robert De Niro's girlfriend Eve, the first person murdered in Once Upon a Time in America (1984), followed by a grittier role as a junkie/police informant in To Live and Die in L.A. (1985). Between 1986 and 1991, Darlanne derived her primary source of income from the small screen where she found an appreciative audience playing Julie Torello, the wife of Dennis Farina's tough 1960s Chicago cop in Crime Story (1986) and Lacey Marseille in season three of Wiseguy (1987). She took over the female lead in season seven of Hunter (1984), but, given 'creative differences' between her and co-star Fred Dryer , she wanted to quit the show and her character was killed off after twelve episodes. Darlanne's career then gradually lost direction and she retired from acting in the mid-90s. Between 2002 and 2007, she held a position as a college professor teaching drama and production at the University of Central Florida film faculty.- Actress

Paola Núñez started acting when she was 12 years old. Seven years later she moved from her tiny town of Tecate, to Mexico City to begin her acting career. There she graduated from the acting school CEFAC.
She immediately began working on day-time television serials, in commercial theater and feature films. In 2005, the role of Barbie Basterrica, a spoiled rich girl brought Paola international attention in her breakthrough lead role in "Amor en Costodia". The role was in large part developed and much of the dialogue even generated by Nuñez herself. Paola later admit that she was inspired by her take on high society girls in Mexico City. Her initial intention was to satire their obnoxious and selfish behavior. Paola was surprised when the fans embraced the character of Barbie. She was such a sensation that girls throughout Mexico began to dress and style their hair like her.
Nuñez's career blossomed after that, playing leading roles in numerous television shows such as "Passion Morena" as well as feature films like "Mexican Gangster", "Los Inadaptados" and "Dariela los Martes", which was filmed in France, the US and Mexico and marked her debut as a film producer.
Throughout her career her passion for live performance remained starring in such theater pieces as, "Allen's Ball", "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress", "The Graduate" and "Rain Man". Nuñez also produced large scale commercial theater shows such as "Freud's Last Session" and "Aladdin" in Mexico and Argentina. Perhaps one of her favorite endeavors in theatrical production was an intimate, two-hand, romance which toured all over Mexico called, "Sumergibles (Submergibles)" inspired by the tango "Confesíon".
One of Paola's biggest career goals was to expand her horizons beyond the boarder of Mexico and In 2015 she moved to Los Angeles. A year later she achieved her goal playing Maria opposite Pierce Brosnan on AMC's series "The Son". The role gave her the opportunity to give a voice to the history and struggle of the first Mexican-Americans in the US.
She has been spokesperson for such NGOs as Greenpeace, Save the Children and Animal Heroes.
Despite her success, Paola enjoys her privacy, preferring the outdoors, family and close friends to the red carpet. She has admitted that life in the lime-light can be a lonely place.
She appreciates that her success is something of a paradox. Her initial attraction to the craft grew out of the performer's ability hide behind a character totally unlike themselves. For Nuñez performance was a place to be anonymous.- Miriam McDonald was born on July 26, 1987 in Oakville, Ontario. BuddyTV ranked her #55 on its TV's 100 Sexiest Women of 2011 list. - Sultry, brunette Faith Domergue was born in New Orleans, part Creole, but primarily of Irish and English extraction. She was adopted when she was six weeks old. In 1927 her adoptive parents took her to live in California, where she was educated at Catholic schools in Santa Monica. She had her first flirt with the acting profession while still at school, on stage at the Bliss Hayden Theatre. Just after her graduation she suffered a disfiguring injury during a car accident when she was thrown into a windshield, and spent 18 months undergoing intensive plastic surgery. Still in her teens, she was briefly married to Acapulco night club owner and bandleader Teddy Stauffer.
By 1941 she was properly back in circulation. "Discovered" by a Warner Brothers talent scout, she was signed to a contract and her name streamlined a la Hollywood to "Faith Dorn". Sometime at the end of May that year young Faith found herself at a studio party (it was not unheard of for underage ingénues to be thrown together with rich or influential men) given on board the Southern Cross, a yacht owned by billionaire Howard Hughes. Hughes, 21 years her senior, became quickly infatuated with the teenager and bought out her contract from Warner Brothers for $50,000, then signed her to the studio he owned, RKO Pictures. He also mollified her adoptive parents by buying them a house, and he paid for Faith to take lessons to perfect her diction and acting. The romantic affair continued on-and-off until mid-1943, and was eventually scuttled by Hughes' various indiscretions with stars Lana Turner, Ava Gardner and Rita Hayworth.
In 1945 Faith reclaimed her original name, Domergue (insisting it be pronounced "Dah-mure") and, by the following year, made her screen debut in Young Widow (1946), a film starring another Hughes find, Jane Russell. Hughes then spent the extravagant--for the time--amount of $3.2 million on Vendetta (1950), the picture that was to catapult Faith to stardom. Three directors went to work on the project, only to be fired in quick succession: Max Ophüls, Preston Sturges and Stuart Heisler. Faith's lack of theatrical training also proved to be a detriment. The picture was eventually completed by Mel Ferrer, but not released until 1950. When it finally arrived in cinemas, it--like Hughes other fiasco, the Spruce Goose--failed to take off. An earlier effort, the film noir Where Danger Lives (1950), was also released at this time. It starred Domergue in the role as a homicidal femme fatale, opposite Robert Mitchum as the lover she manipulates into taking the blame for her murdering millionaire hubby Claude Rains. In spite of another huge publicity campaign, with Faith featured on the cover of "Look" Magazine and articles in numerous other publications, this film also performed indifferently at the box office and caused Hughes to lose interest in his erstwhile protégé.
During the next few years Faith began to freelance at other studios, appearing in westerns: The Duel at Silver Creek (1952), with Audie Murphy; The Great Sioux Uprising (1953), with Jeff Chandler; and Santa Fe Passage (1955) with John Payne at Republic. In 1955 she starred in the first of a trio of sci-fi/horror outings for which she is chiefly remembered. In This Island Earth (1955), shot in Technicolor at Universal, she played a scientist kidnapped by aliens and, with her colleagues, pressed into service defending their world against interplanetary attack. Helped by a clever script and make-up artist Bud Westmore's $24,000 creation of a bug-eyed mutant monster, the film was a huge success and has become a cult favorite. Faith essayed yet another scientist engaged in destroying Ray Harryhausen's giant octopus (six-tentacled, because of the minuscule budget) in It Came from Beneath the Sea (1955). In Cult of the Cobra (1955), Faith replaced Mari Blanchard in the role of the high-priestess of a cobra-worshiping cult who assumes the shape of a serpent in order to kill six GIs who have witnessed a secret ceremony.
Following her separation from Argentine writer/director Hugo Fregonese, Faith made three films in England, most notably as queen of the London underworld in Vernon Sewell's Spin a Dark Web (1956) (aka "Spin a Dark Web"). During the 1960s she concentrated on television and appeared in everything from Bonanza (1959) to Combat! (1962), from Perry Mason (1957) to Bronco (1958). After making several films in Italy (and getting married for a third time, to assistant director and theatrical producer Paolo Cossa in 1966)) , she revisited the horror genre in the cheap but cheerful The House of Seven Corpses (1974), as the emotive star of a horror movie who awakens the deceased after reading from the "Tibetan Book of the Dead".
Faith Domergue never quite made it as a major star, unlike Jane Russell. She did, however, acquire something of a cult following because of her involvement in the seminal This Island Earth (1955), as well as her other science-fiction films from this period. Ironically, Faith later confessed that she never much cared for the genre. - Actress
