- CreatorAlex BaskinDouglas RossLisa VanderpumpStarsKatie MaloneyScheana ShayTom SandovalBest known as one of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump opens the salacious kitchen doors of her exclusive Hollywood restaurant and lounge, SUR.If you are as sad as I am that this explosive season of "Real Housewives of Orange County" is coming to an end, fear not because "Vanderpump Rules" is back to fill the void! Yep, this Jax-tastic show is one of my favorite guilty pleasures, and I'm so excited that it's returning with all it's drama-filled adventure. Now excuse me while I go sip a cocktail at Pump... — Shara

With a new threat dawning, Bond learns the terrible truth about the author of all his pain in his most recent missions.Daniel Craig might be over James Bond, but I'm not! I can't wait for this installment of the iconic franchise, which promises to be an action-packed 2.5 hours of white tuxedos, high-speed car chases, and (hopefully) a whole lotta Christoph Waltz. Daniel, it ain't over 'til it's over! — Chako

Season 8 Premiere: Sunday, Nov. 8. - CreatorMoira Walley-BeckettStarsSarah HayBen DanielsEmily TyraA talented but emotionally troubled dancer runs away to New York City and quickly finds herself immersed in the cutthroat world of professional ballet. The beautiful, brutal world of ballet has inspired several great movies including Black Swan and The Turning Point. I'm thrilled that there will finally be a scripted TV series that will fully mine the dramatic potential of a dance company setting. Starz limited series "Flesh and Bone" is the dark, gritty story of Clare, a troubled new dancer at a New York ballet company. There are two reasons why ballet fans should be pirouetting with excitement about the show. First, it was created by Moira Walley-Beckett, who wrote some of the best episodes of "Breaking Bad" including "Ozymandias." Second, it stars a real ballerina, Sarah Hay. So, there won’t be any awkward cuts to a body double during dance sequences. — Sara
Series Premiere: Sunday, Nov. 8. - DirectorAngelina JolieStarsBrad PittAngelina JolieMélanie LaurentA couple tries to repair their marriage while staying at a hotel in France. This film has been on my watch list since the project was announced. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had incredible chemistry in Mr. and Mrs. Smith; I am looking forward to seeing them share the screen once again. Jolie has stated that, when she first began writing, she never intended to actually produce the project, which allowed her a sense of freedom in her creative process. While she insists that the film is not autobiographical, it does feel like her most personal project yet. I was also very intrigued to learn that Jolie is working with cinematographer Christian Berger, who also shot many of Michael Haneke's gorgeous films including The Piano Teacher, The White Ribbon, and Caché. — Michelle
Release Info: In theaters on Friday, Nov. 13. - CreatorDavid CrossBob OdenkirkStarsDavid CrossBob OdenkirkJohn EnnisBob and David emerge from the time machine they entered sixteen years ago and are reunited with the cast of Mr. Show. The reunion of "Mr. Show" alums David Cross and Bob Odenkirk is a sign of the TV times in more than one way: Not only are Cross and (especially) Odenkirk much better known now than they were in the mid-to-late '90s, but the entire way we approach watching TV has gone through a mutation. Remember that "Mr. Show" was on HBO prior to "Sex and the City" and "The Sopranos." In fact, it was part of the cable channel's first original-programming wave. Now that the duo has partnered with Netflix, we're anticipating a form of comedy that's older, wiser, and weirder than ever. — Arno
Series Premiere: Friday, Nov. 13. - DirectorAngelo PizzoStarsAaron EckhartFinn WittrockRobin TunneyFreddie Steinmark, an underdog on the gridiron, faces the toughest challenge of his life after leading his team to a championship season. In the canon of sports films, few stand higher than Rudy and Hoosiers. My All American, which was written and directed by the same man who wrote both those films, brings to life the inspiring and tragic story of University of Texas football legend Freddie Steinmark. An undersized defensive back, Steinmark was diagnosed with a malignant bone tumor late in the 1969 season. But that didn't stop him from contributing to the team's eventual national championship. In telling the story of an athlete who tackles challenges off the field, director Angelo Pizzo surely goes back to a familiar playbook. But it's one we can't stop caring about. — Bret
Release Info: In theaters on Friday, Nov. 13. - CreatorAlfred GoughMiles MillarStarsDaniel WuOrla BradyEmily BeechamA mighty warrior and a young boy with supernatural powers search for enlightenment in a ruthless post-apocalyptic America controlled by feudal barons. The last time there was a serious martial arts series on television ("Kung Fu"), Gerald Ford was still in the White House. That's just one of the reasons why genre enthusiasts should be excited about this show, which chronicles the adventures of a great warrior (Daniel Wu) and a young boy across a landscape controlled by feudal barons. Another reason? "Badlands" is the third show to be picked up straight to series by AMC, a network that's solidified a reputation in recent years for serving up consequential, often ground-breaking shows. — Bret
Series Premiere: Sunday, Nov. 15. - DirectorFrancis LawrenceStarsJennifer LawrenceJosh HutchersonLiam HemsworthKatniss and a team of rebels from District 13 prepare for the final battle that will decide the fate of Panem.Yes, The Hunger Games is a teen series. It’s also a feminist epic starring Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence that has a lot to say about the influence of media on society, political repression, and how economic inequality can lead to rebellion. The final chapter promises to be more satisfying than the third installment, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which was essentially a Games-free Hunger Games. Director Francis Lawrence and screenwriter Danny Strong are sure to turn the fall of Panem into a visual spectacle that does not skimp on character development. Katniss and Snow’s final showdown promises to be spectacular. The movie also has the potential to deliver a better ending to the Gale-Katniss-Peeta love triangle, which was treated as an afterthought in the book. — Sara
Release Info: In theaters on Friday, Nov. 20. - DirectorTodd HaynesStarsCate BlanchettRooney MaraSarah PaulsonAn aspiring photographer develops an intimate relationship with an older woman in 1950s New York. The amount of time that passes between Todd Haynes projects is always frustrating for his fans, but his latest film, an adaptation of a novel by Patricia Highsmith — if only they had collaborated while she was still alive! — has left us in breathless anticipation of what's been called a peerless performance by Cate Blanchett. — Arno
Release Info: In theaters on Friday, Nov. 20. - DirectorBrian HelgelandStarsTom HardyEmily BrowningTaron EgertonIdentical twin gangsters Ronald and Reginald Kray terrorize London during the 1960s.I love a good crime thriller movie. So, Legend is currently at the top of my list for November. I’ve overheard some Internet chatter to “not trust the trailer.” So, this intrigues me even more. In Legend, Tom Hardy plays the role of the twins, Ronald and Reggie Kray. I’m a huge Hardy fan. So, I can’t wait to see his performance in this split role. — Akimi

You know this will be one for the books! The Night Before looks hilarious. A holiday movie starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anthony Mackie, Lizzy Caplan, Mindy Kaling, and Seth Rogen... I'm sold. I can’t wait to watch the debauchery take place on Nov. 20. — Akimi
Release Info: In theaters on Friday, Nov. 20. - DirectorPeter SohnStarsJeffrey WrightFrances McDormandMaleah Nipay-PadillaIn a world where dinosaurs and humans live side-by-side, an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend.I saw the first trailer for The Good Dinosaur at Disney's D23 EXPO 2015 and tried (and failed) to hold back tears. Since then, I've watched it nearly 20 times, and each time I get completely lost in Apatosaurus Arlo's world. Also, there could not have been a better, more magical song chosen for the nearly lyrical first trailer: "Crystals" by Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men. — Chako
Release Info: In theaters on Wednesday, Nov. 25. - DirectorTom HooperStarsEddie RedmayneAlicia VikanderAmber HeardA fictitious love story loosely inspired by the lives of Danish artists Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener. Lili and Gerda's marriage and work evolve as they navigate Lili's groundbreaking journey as a transgender pioneer. The release of The Danish Girl feels timely as our society becomes more open and accepting of the transgender community. But the film, which was inspired by the true story of the Einar Wegener/Lili Elbe, the transgender pioneer who was among the first to have gender reassignment surgery in the early 1930s, has been in the works for years. I am looking forward to seeing Eddie Redmayne take on this transformative role, especially after his Oscar-winning performance in The Theory of Everything. The film received mixed reviews on its festival run, but I was moved both by the trailer and first-look images. So, I am definitely going to check this one out in the theater. — Michelle
