- DirectorJirí MenzelStarsRudolf HrusínskýJaromír HanzlíkJosef SomrThis movie is based on texts of Bohumil Hrabal, world-known Czech prosaic. It's a story (in a form of a mosaic of short episodes and pictures) about the sadness and happiness of inhabitants of Kersko (Kersko is a small woody area full of cottages and roods). These people are both simple and sensitive, they have their own pleasures (e.g. Leli is a collector of cheap, but inutile things) and the greatest delight of all of them is a hunting. Crude poetics of amateur hunting is screened by dreamy pictures of this area. Menzel mixes sentimental lyricism and rough (but not vulgar!) humor and the outcome is the never-ending landscape of continuous life in the proximate nearness of nature. The performances of actors are brilliant. Both Rudolf Hrusinsky as a Franz and Jaromír Hanzlik as a Leli have nonrecurring charm bottomed on a pain and inebriation. Only the music is not perfect: Jiri Sust usually assembled his film music from his older works and in this movie there is many quotations.
- DirectorJirí MenzelStarsMagda VásáryováJirí SchmitzerJaromír HanzlíkAn evocation of the childhood memories of Bohumil Hrabal in his provincial town of Nymburk, dominated by the local brewery.

- DirectorMarie PolednákováStarsOldrich KaiserKamila MagálováJirí BartoskaA sequel to Líbás jako buh (2009). The film takes off at the moment when the old bonds of marriage are definitely a thing of the past and Helena (Kamila Magálová) and Frantisek (Oldrich Kaiser) are trying to start a new life together. But, as usually the case, ties to the past cannot be cut just like that. It is still your family and your environment and your former partners still inevitably belong to your shared life.

- StarsVáclav NeuzilIvan TrojanMartha IssováStepán (Václav Neuzil) got a job as a second night receptionist in a three star Hotel Meteor on the periphery of Prague. He'd like to get along with the colleagues and not attract the attention of his superiors. But how is he supposed to do that, when he desperately falls in love with Pavlínka (Martha Issová), who works as a day receptionist? The see each other only in the moment when the shifts change! On top of that, Pavlínka is not interested in Stepán but in the aggressive hotel maintenance man David (David Novotný). He is in turn interested in two things only: how has his beloved Sparta played and how to avoid the exhausting erotic interest of his superior, the ambitious hotel manager Tereza (Lenka Krobotová). Tereza does her best to improve the quality of the hotel and get the long-wished-for fourth star. This concern clashes with the selfishness, indolence, laziness, acquisitiveness and cunning of the subordinates. Of all the hotel employees, the fourth star is of the least interest to her ex-husband Theodor (Martin Mysicka), the director of the hotel. His only interest is to perfect his skills in playing the Chinese game of mahjong. Tereza's efforts are being thwarted by the personal interests of other subordinates, too: the ambitious and treacherous cook Smutný (Jaroslav Plesl) craves the position of the chef, the melancholic chef Tichý (Miroslav Krobot) struggles with losing his taste as a result of work accident, the day receptionist Frantisek (Ivan Trojan) deals with the underworld and consorts with the dangerous criminal Major ('Pavel Simcik'), the hotel prostitute Libuska (Klára Melísková) trains a junior lacrosse team, the hotel taxi driver Jindra (Marek Taclík) is a gay with a strong maternal instinct and Jirina the barmaid (Simona Babcáková) has a deficit. In the course of series' season we watch in suspense whether the hotel manages - despite the clash of the employees' personal interests - to get the fourth star in the end, and the more refined and solvent clientèle with it. And is something like that even in the interest of the mysterious Chinese hotel owner?
- DirectorTomás VorelStarsJan SlovákLucie ZedníckováSimon CabanThis movie tells a story of the dark side of communism, corruption in everyday life through the eyes of an ordinary man working as a new engineer in a factory.
- DirectorPetr SíchaStarsTomás MagnusekDavid DolanskýLadislav PotmesilThe movie is firmly grounded in reality and shows what happens when the system fails. The story revolves around children from disadvantaged families. A tragedy occurs, spinning their behavior into a dramatic tale free of clichés and pretense, revealing their characters and showing that nothing is as simple as it at first appears.
- DirectorJan LengyelStarsTomás MagnusekJan StastnýMartin Dejdar
- DirectorTomás MagnusekStarsTomás MagnusekIlona SvobodováTomás TöpferThe teacher Tomás Majer, who came to one former special school in 2010, has disappeared. He came to the school a few months after his sister, also a teacher, was murdered. The boys that murdered Jana Majerová died mysteriously during the school year. It seems that Tomás Majer most likely cold-bloodedly revenged his sister's death. Is there no problem with that? Will the police apprehend him? Will he face trial? What do the children's parents think? And Tomás Majer's parents? Society? What will happen when similar schools are shut down? The film that shocked the public two years ago is coming to its conclusion. A drama that plainly shows the hard reality of this day and age, that shows how far things can go it we only idly watch.....
- DirectorOldrich LipskýStarsRudolf HrusínskýPetr CepekJosef SomrThree veterans are given magic artifacts by elves that can magically create gold, servants and any other object. They encounter greedy characters and one of them falls in love with a princess.
- DirectorMartin FricStarsFrantisek SmolíkMartin RuzekMarie KyselkováA Czech fairy tale about a princess named Lada who runs away from home in a mouse-fur disguise in order to escape an unwanted, forced marriage.
- DirectorPetr NikolaevStarsOndrej VetchýRoman BohácVladimír BrabecThe Godfather's Story tells about the rise and fall of Vedral (Ondrej Vetchý), a person who worked his way up from dealing in digital watches to the position of a gray eminence of Czech politics. Two worlds collide in the film - the belief in the right of the stronger and smarter and the belief in justice. We follow the riveting duel between a representative of law and order and a person who changes the rules to suit himself. Police Inspector Cajthaml (Lukás Vaculík) has dedicated his life to trailing the Godfather and he never lost his faith in the victory of justice.
- DirectorMilos SmídmajerStarsJirí MádlFilip BlazekEva PodzimkováThis quirky student comedy tells the story of Petr Kovár (Filip Blazek), who gets the chance to return to the past for a while and he meets the love of his life, his classmate Eliska, again in June 1989. There is one hook: physically he is seventeen again (played by Jirí Mádl), but his mind remains that of a modern "forty-something". He returns to a different reality, forgetting that he will be tested again and how the school system was different back then. Thus the plot throws him several comical and provocative twists and through a surprising romantic entanglement it lets the audience see and recall the absurdity of the pre-revolution era.
- DirectorZuzana MariankováStarsTomas MastalirKlára IssováTatiana PauhofováCouple of friend, including couples go on a dinner to one couple's flat. One of guests suggests, they should all put their phones on the table and read out loud every message they get and put every call the get on speaker. This, at the first look silly and funny games creates tension, parts of comedy and drama.
- DirectorZdenek TroskaStarsVáclav VydraJana PaulováVera KuchtováA comedy that whisks the viewer off to the quiet Southern Bohemian town of Kamenákov, where an array of typical Czech characters and archetypal families live life to an unvarying rhythm. The Nováks are a good example: the father (Václav Vydra) is on the police force, his wife (Jana Paulová) is a teacher, their daughter studies nursing, and nine-year-old Pepícek is a motormouth commenting on everything that happens. Imagine then the kid's surprise when two representatives of the English nobility arrive in order to claim the local palace (recovered through the post-Revolution restitution process). Small towns keep no secrets; soon everyone knows that the new lord of the manor has come to search for the treasure his father allegedly stashed away. And this juicy tidbit whets the appetites of the three local mafiosi in particular: a hardened criminal, the nouveau-rich Khon (Josef Laufer), and the town's dandy of a mayor.
- DirectorZdenek TroskaStarsVáclav VydraJana PaulováHelena VondráckováA sequel to the light summer comedy. The castle's miraculous blue spring, the waters of which had irrefutable erectile effects, has disappeared as quickly as it began. Actually, it hasn't disappeared; it has just gone elsewhere: to the home of old Mrs. Kropácková, whose incredible thirst has awakened a 20-year lust. The town's younger men are in danger; many others end up as rape victims on a psychiatrist's couch, and Officer Pepa Novák (Václav Vydra) has his hands full. The castle owner certainly won't allow "his" spring to be snatched away from him, and the local head doctor, who has already pictured himself as the world's exclusive supplier of "Liquid Viagra," is beside himself with rage.
- DirectorZdenek TroskaStarsVáclav VydraJana PaulováMarek VasutThe third in a series of clamorous comedies about the everyday tribulations of the inhabitants of the Southern Bohemian town of Kamenákov. A Romany family moves into Police Chief Pepa's (Václav Vydra) neighborhood. Leo Khon (Josef Laufer), the richest man in Kamenákov, owns a soccer team made of friends and acquaintances. They play miserably, however, managing to lose to the worst of all teams: the Boulders of Little Rock. Khon's mother-in-law refuses to ignore such a waste of family funds and bets her son-in-law that she, who knows absolutely nothing about soccer, can put together a team which will pulverize his freeloaders. - DirectorJán NovákPavel PásekStarsVáclav VydraDana MorávkováMartin DejdarIt's 10 years later and the popular protagonists of the town of Kamenákov are back in fine form. Pepa's wife Vilma has left for Australia to be with their daughter, so Pepa (Václav Vydra) and his son Pepík are living in a purely bachelor household with no cooking or ironing skills and with eggs exploding in the microwave. Teacher Vlasta (Dana Morávková) is intensively circling around Pepa, sensing an opportunity to fill the hole that Vilma left. Pepa, however, is completely absorbed by his new future--he has become the Mayor of Kamenákov and inherited his predecessor's flexible secretary Bohous (Bohumil Klepl). Their first mission together at town hall is to establish a local police force since, as everybody knows, the income from the fines goes right to the town's coffers. The local Rambo, Franta Cloumal (Martin Dejdar), becomes the Police Chief, and finally earns some recognition from his wife.
