All summer long, Person of Interest fans have dealt with one lingering question after last season's so-good-it's-maddening finale: Where are Finch, Reese and the rest of Team Machine supposed to go now? With the library dismantled and the team now underground, Tuesday’s episode finally held the answer to the gestating question, revealing the whereabouts (well, vaguely) of the brand-new headquarters that will now serve as the meeting place for our newly displaced heroes. Viewers got their first peek at the new HQ—an abandoned subway station deep underneath New York City, far from the prying eyes of Samaritan—and EW has an exclusive,...

Batman is currently whooping The Avengers' asses...at the box-office, at least. "The Dark Knight Rises" is outperforming the blockbuster Joss Whedon flick in advance ticket sales, according to Fandango, with the former already selling out more than 2,000 showtimes across the country. “The IMAX showtimes are particular fast-sellers, as almost every one of our Thursday midnight IMAX showtimes have been sold out," said Fandango Executive VP and General Manager Rick Butler in a statement. "The good news is that theater owners are continually posting new showtimes on Fandango to meet the fan demand, so tickets are still available.” The hugely-anticipated Christopher...

Batman has risen! Fandango is reporting that the third and final chapter of the masked avenger saga, "The Dark Knight Rises," is outpacing Marvel's "The Avengers" in advance ticket sales. Furthermore, the Christopher Nolan-directed flick is on track to "become one of Fandango's top-selling movies of all time!"
And rightfully so. I will post my "Dark Knight Rises" review in a little bit, but this I can tell you, it's a fitting ending to the Batman trilogy we know and love. Christian Bale is amazing, Anne Hathaway is breathtaking, and Tom Hardy is menacing. Oh yeah, Michael Caine made me cry!
I saw the film twice, and it gets better and better, just like any great Nolan movies.
And while Marvel's "The Avengers" just wants to have fun with the superhero genre, "The Dark Knight Rises" is the thinking man's comic book flick! So I'm very happy that it's outpacing "The Avengers.

The numbers are in and 'The Hunger Games' is a smash! Let the Games begin! The odds are definitely in The Hunger Games' favor! The movie brought in $19.75 million opening night for its midnight showings, according to our sister site Deadline.com, which is the highest number ever for a non-sequel! "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1" already opened to midnight crowds Friday and has sold out showings throughout the country for the rest of the weekend. It also is just behind two "Twilight" films as the biggest pre-selling movie in history.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1" became the biggest "Harry Potter" film in advance ticket sales, according to Fandango. It's also the third overall biggest film in presale history, behind only "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" and "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."
The next biggest films in Fandango's presale history are "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" and the next highest-selling "Harry Potter" film in presales, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
"In November 2001, 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' set the initial benchmark for an advance ticket-buying blockbuster on Fandango," says COO Rick Butler. "As the audiences matured, so did the franchise's storylines.
