- Is probably best known for composing 'Cavatina', which became famous worldwide as the title music for The Deer Hunter. The theme had previously been used in the 1970 film The Walking Stick.
- Myers wrote a soundtrack for Age of Consent (1969) at the request of the studio and this was used to replace the original soundtrack by Peter Sculthorpe. The Sculthorpe soundtrack was the director's preferred soundtrack and this has now been restored.
