- Monique serves on the Board of The United States Veterans' Artists Alliance.
The United States Veterans' Artists Alliance (USVAA) is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary non-profit arts organization, founded in 2004 by military veterans and artists. USVAA provides opportunities for veterans in the arts by highlighting the work of veterans in the arts, humanities and entertainment industry along with the contributions veterans have made to the rich cultural history of our nation since the Revolutionary War.
November 1st, 2019, officially became "Veterans in the Arts and Humanities Day" in the State of California. This is permanent, annual recognition that honors veterans both past and present engaged in the arts, humanities and the entertainment industry. - Monique received an ADA Award nomination for best supporting actress for her performance in "The Emerald Society.".
- Monique is one of the vocal performers on the sing-along video "There's No Me Without You" for Sony's Christmas film "The Star". The film features the voices of Steven Yeun, Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Keegan-Michael Key, Kelly Clarkson, Patricia Heaton, Kristin Chenoweth, Tracy Morgan, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Kris Kristofferson, Christopher Plummer, Ving Rhames, Gabriel Iglesias, Delilah and Mariah Carey (who also performs the lead song of the film). The film was released on November 17, 2017.
