It seems that despite issuing a formal apology on Instagram, Kendall and Kylie Jenner are still facing backlash for those “vintage” t-shirts they released and quickly recalled last week.
In addition to facing the general ire of the public and celebs like Paris Jackson and Kelly and Sharon Osbourne, now, the lawyer for The Doors’ estate is also stepping into the fray. It seems one of the controversial t-shirts in question featured the iconic “Lion” image of Jim Morrison with an overlay of Kendall’s face, an image that the reality stars turned designers apparently failed to get trademark approval...

Disney World isn’t big enough for the both of them.
In a new clip from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, an animatronic Abraham Lincoln threatens to “secede” from Disney’s Hall of Presidents due to the planned addition of a moving, speaking animatronic Donald Trump, expected to join the attraction in late 2017.
“It has come to my attention that they’re going to let the President Trump animatronic bot speak,” says the animatronic Lincoln in the spoof. “There is only one way to escape my plight. I have decided to secede from the Hall of Presidents. To paraphrase me,...

According to a new study out of Northern Illinois University, dogs have something else to bark about.
The study, authored by Niu alumnus Camille King and Niu professor Thomas Smith, found that young dogs are susceptible to stress-induced gray hair, just like we are.
King and Smith — along with animal behaviorist Peter Borchelt and renowned author/researcher Temple Grandin — visited dog parks, dog shows, veterinary clinics and other venues, examining 400 dogs and collecting dog behavior questionnaires from their owners, a press release says. The dogs were also independently rated on the extent of their muzzle grayness.

Some fans assume that Stephen King, by virtue of his being the most successful horror writer of his time, must have had a terribly traumatic childhood that fueled his imagination later in life. But it’s not true, as the author himself reveals in the latest installment of PBS Digital Studios’ Blank On Blank webseries. This episode adds interpretive animation—complete with nods to Carrie, It, and The Shining—to an interview King did in October 1989 with Thomas Smith for Wamc’s The Public Radio Book Show. “I don’t remember having a particularly unusual childhood,” King tells Smith. But childhood does fascinate him for other reasons:
It’s a secret world. It exists by its own rules and lives in its own culture. And the second thing is that we forget what it is to be a child, and we forget that life, which is kind of exotic ...

Teenage boys vandalising their school's bathrooms have forced the headteacher to take drastic action and ban toilet paper from school bathrooms. Pennsylvanian-based Mahanoy Area High School have told male students they must go to the nurse or the school office to request toilet paper, and consequently sign it in and then out again afterwards. The policy was put in place by the principal, Thomas Smith, who was tired of the bathrooms suffering vandalism and destruction on a regular basis, reports the Republican Herald. Smith said: "We've had serious destruction to our bathrooms for the past two years. "We have a case pending with the police where (more)...

London, Nov 11: A retired priest reportedly bit off a clergyman's ear in a brawl over a parking spot in Perth, Australia.
According to police, Father Thomas Byrne, 80, told Father Thomas Smith, 81, to pick the flesh up off the ground and put it in his pocket after the fight, the Daily Mail reported.
It was only when Smith returned to his retirement flat and pulled it out of his pocket that he realized that it was his right ear.
Smith wrapped it in a tea towel and drove to a local medical centre, where staff called for an ambulance and police.
It appeared that Byrne had also suffered a bruising in the fight, as he appeared.

HollywoodNews.com:Directors Guild of America President Taylor Hackford today announced the DGA’s nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Television and Commercials for the year 2011.
?The caliber of work being done on television these days is incredible, and our director nominees in each category are an indispensable element to the success of every project — establishing and enhancing the vision and tone, eliciting outstanding performances and furthering the narrative arc through their creative choices,? said Hackford. ?That they are able to create excellence regardless of obstacles like tighter schedules and in an environment in which audiences have more entertainment options to choose from — is a true testament to the importance of directorial skill in television.?
The winners will be announced at the 64th Annual DGA Awards Dinner on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles.

Reuters Members of the Occupy Wall Street movement take part in a protest march through the financial district of New York on Oct. 12.
Several small businesses say the Occupy Wall Street protests are having an unintended consequence: They’re hurting their business.
For instance, a festival to promote local food vendors that was slated to take place in Boston’s Dewey Square Saturday, Oct. 15, was canceled because the area had become overcrowded with Occupy Boston protestors, angering some of the businesses that expected to participate.

James Cameron envisioned his “Avatar” world will someday be like George Lucas’ “Star Wars” with a movie trilogy, novels, toys and now even as a theme attraction at Disney Parks. Disney Parks announced a long-term creative partnership with Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Filmed Entertainment to develop the fantasy world of Avatar. The Avatar theme will begin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The construction will be expected to begin by 2013. “We believe Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a great fit for this project because it was created to give guests the opportunity to experience the worlds of animals and nature – real and mythical – in new ways,” wrote Thomas Smith, social media director for Disney Parks. “Disney’s Animal Kingdom also celebrates adventure, living in harmony with nature and environmental stewardship – themes that are deeply rooted in the story of ‘Avatar.’” Cameron and...

On tour with former singer-songwriter Nathan Hubbard and his showstopper of a plan to rescue Ticketmaster's business -- and, for an encore, its dreadful reputation.
The Ticketmaster Turnaround Tour rolls into New York ready to rock. The audience on this fine day in mid-May is a who's who of local clients including the Yankees, Madison Square Garden, and Blue Man Group, here to see if the live show is any different from what they've heard for, literally, decades. Hell, they can't believe Ticketmaster is touring. Throughout its history, Ticketmaster's executive team did not come to you. Call it the Sympathy for the Devil Tour, if the Rolling Stones hadn't already used that moniker.
The road show, 10 cities in four weeks, is CEO Nathan Hubbard's idea, as is the black T-shirt he's wearing: Tm on the front, dates and cities on the back, evoking a concert keepsake.

The Big Bang Theory sends its nerd male adherents off to Christmas pretty happy this week, by squeezing Kaley Cuoco into a tight Wonder Woman costume; but most female fans will have to make do with the foam muscles of Sheldon and Co., who are determined to scoop this year's comic store New Year's Eve Group Costume prize by turning up with a genuine girl and a guy with real muscles.
Yep, Penny's back with Zack, the man with almost infinite Final Frontier between the ears; but it's better than being alone on New Year's Eve. And surely a primate like Zack has no feelings to hurt anyway...?
Not so, as the geeks gang up on him at the episode's start when he declares that he wants to 'talk science' with them. A subsequent and hilarious apology - largely effected by a box of Milk Duds...

"The Alien Parasite Hypothesis"
Poor Sheldon and Amy. Not even the Vulcan discipline of Kolinahr can keep sex from rearing its ugly head in their lives eventually. And here we're talking about a couple ("We're not a couple!") whose connection to their inner needs and feelings is as distant as Voyager 1 (which, at its current location of 116 million miles from Earth, is pretty damned distant).
When Amy finds herself having a touch of the vapors after being introduced to Zack (Thomas Smith), another of Penny's numerous sexual cast-offs, it takes a long session of scientific analysis with not-boyfriend ("Really! He's not my boyfriend!") Sheldon to work out that she might be in the throes of lust for the first time in her life. Either that or she's being possessed by an alien parasite - and that's where Sheldon's smart money is.
But Dr. Cooper is wrong, and - during a...

Although Ari Folman's "Waltz With Bashir" did not make the shortlist of 15 films under consideration for the best documentary Oscar, it is among the nominees for the DGA's doc award, announced Friday.
"Waltz" will compete with Gonzalo Arijon's "Stranded: I've Come From a Plane that Crashed on the Mountains," in which survivors of a 1972 Andes plane crash tell their story; Elizabeth Farnsworth and Patricio Lanfranco's "The Judge and the General," a look back at the investigation into the regime of Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet; Peter Gilbert & Stevie James' "At the Death House Door," an examination of the wrongful conviction of a Texas man executed for murder; and James Marsh's "Man on Wire," a study of tight-rope walker Philippe Petit.
