- The actor Fritz Achterberg began his career at the Belle-Alliance theater in Berlin in 1898, afterwards followed engagements at other theaters.
- From 1923 he concentrated again to the theater exclusively and remained active on stage till the end of war.
- He got early in contact with the film business. His first cinematical appearance took already place in 1912 with "Der Strohwitwer".
- He became a busy actor in the following years - often in movies directed by Franz Hofer - but his film career covered only a decade however.
