Jimmy Anderson was born Sept. 6, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas to Ray and
Margie Chew Anderson. He fought bulls and protected generations of
cowboys, including at his hometown rodeo, the Fort Worth Stock Show and
Rodeo, for many years. Anderson won several Wrangler Bullfighter of the
Year titles in his 32 year career. He was inducted into the Texas Rodeo
Hall of Fame in 2007 and honored on the Cowboy Capital Walk of Fame in
Stephenville, Texas. He was a member of the PBR, was a Gold Card Member
of the PRCA and also a member of the Canadian Professional Rodeo
Association.
