We were recently able to catch up with Finger 11 vocalist Scott Anderson as he was gearing up for the release of the band’s greatest hits compilation. The album features various hits from throughout the band’s extensive career and also boasts an unreleased cover of Pink Floyd’s “Welcome To The Machine”. Finger 11 has also included a brand new single on the album titled “Together Right”! The new song is about unity. It’s about the bonds between people and how far that bond can extend before it’s broken.
You just don’t know how excited we were to hear that Finger 11 was releasing a greatest hits album! We can only imagine what that must feel like for you?
You know what? It feels good…it feels like a long time coming! It feels like only big bands get greatest hits albums and now it’s like ‘Alright,...

Vacancy (2007)
Directed By: Nimród Antal
Written By: Mark L. Smith
Starring: Kate Beckinsale (Amy Fox), Luke Wilson (David Fox), Frank Whaley (Mason), Ethan Embry (Mechanic), Scott G. Anderson (Killer), Mark Casella (Truck Driver), David Doty (Highway Patrol)
“Vacancy” is a commendable effort to restore thrills and tension in modern horror, which is something lost in films of this genre now. It takes on a modern take of “Psycho” with a lone motel scenario with fewer characters. It manages to merge themes from the exploitation sub genre to fit with a modern audience. “Vacancy” is a refreshing horror film that avoids heavy gore as the selling point.
A married couple, whose relationship is on the fritz, car breaks down near a small isolated motel in hopes to stay overnight until they get their car fixed the next day. Unfortunately, what was seemingly a harmless visit...

One of the positives of Vacancy 2: The First Cut is that its existence suggests that the efficiently scary original, a box-office disappointment in theaters, found a wider audience on video—enough to encourage the production of this Sony Pictures direct-to-disc follow-up. Another is that as DVD sequels go, this one doesn’t shame its predecessor.
It no doubt helped that producer Hal Lieberman and scripter Mark L. Smith both returned for the second round (while foreign import Nimrod Antal was replaced by domestic indie-film stalwart Eric Bross as director). This is another in the reductive trend of prequels that attempt to explain just why their murderers do what they do, but for the first 20 minutes, Smith seems to be onto something as he traces the evolution of his villains from voyeuristic pornographers to snuff purveyors. Gordon (David Moscow, the boy who became Tom Hanks in Big, now grown up and styled—intentionally,...
