Charlton Andrews(1878-1939)

Charlton Andrews was a writer and teacher who traveled extensively in
his lifetime. He received degrees from DePauw University and Harvard
University. He taught at the high school and college levels as well as
worked for newspapers in Indianapolis, New York, and Paris. He wrote
original works and adapted others for both the screen and stage. At the
time of his death he was still teaching English at Stuyvesant High
School in New York, New York.
