- Jackson Anthony was born on July 8, 1958 in Podiwee Kumbura, Ragama, Ceylon. He was an actor and writer, known for Dharmayuddhaya (2017), Jullietge Bhoomikawa (1998) and Ekageyi Sokari. He was married to Kumari Sandalatha Munasinghe. He died on October 9, 2023 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

- In addition cinema, he worked with Clarence Wijewardena; one of the most respected Sri Lankan musicians in Sinhalese music, as a supporting singer for a Sinhala teledrama called Suseema. He sang two popular songs with Clarence, Sithe Susum and Desa Piya Gathkala.
