- Aesop Aquarian was an actor, known for Man Without a Head (2011), The Lord of the Rings (1978) and Target (2004). He died on May 27, 2022.
- According to the director of Van Nuys Blvd. (1979) on the commentary track, Aesop hung out with the Manson "family" (Charles Manson, et al.) in the 1960s, but got out when he realized things were getting too strange. As it turned out he would later play a Manson-like character in Bloodbath (1977).
- Real name is Mark Rosen. Besides Aesop Aquarian, he also goes by 'Mark Ross'.
- Has a younger brother named Don who is a licensed marriage and family therapist.
- While in boarding school he formed a band with Frank Sinatra Jr called The Outhouse Four.
- Studied acting at the predecessor to the Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity in Banff, Alberta, Canada.
