- The most seasoned member of V Entertainment Group, Sidney Balkin has been a key figure in American television since its inception in the 1940s. He was the General Manager of CBS affiliate KLEE-TV in Houston, which under his control became the first profitable station in the country.
Since 1950, Mr. Balkin has remained an instrumental force in film and television, managing such clients as Sid Ceasar and Jan Murray, and producing films like Golden Globe nominated "Sweet Hostage". He created the concept of the national tie-in campaign with Yamaha for "Rosemary's Baby" - thus starting national cross-promotions as we know them today.
Before joining with his current partners at V Entertainment Group, Sid ran the TV divisions of Brut Productions, Dimension Pictures, and Four Star TV. He has amassed an impressive repertoire of motion picture and television projects while continuing to create original television series and movies-of-the-week for V Entertainment Group.- IMDb Mini Biography By: V Entertainment Group
