Irving Berlin(1902-1981)
- Editor
- Editorial Department
- Actor
Worked as a film editor in movies and television from the 1930's
through the mid-1960's. During this period he worked for Charlie
Chaplin's studio, Columbia Pictures, Roy Rogers, and others. He was
employed for a time by evangelist Billy Graham, whom he said was his
favorite employer due to Graham's gentle management style. In contrast,
much earlier in his career, Berlin left Chaplin' s studio because he
disliked the way in which Charlie Chaplin mistreated his brother
Sidney.
