Star 80 (1983), was slain by her jealous ex-husband,
Paul Snider, who then killed himself. Stratten's lover at the time she was murdered was director
Peter Bogdanovich. He had just finished directing Dorothy in his film
They All Laughed (1981). In 1988, Bogdonovich married Louise. She was only 20 and Bogdonovich 49.
