- She was the model for the 1936 statue 'Spirit of the Centennial' by Raoul Josset. The statue still adorns the Administration Building of the Texas Centennial Exposition, now the Women's Museum in Fair Park, Dallas, Texas.

- The face of the 16-year-old Texas schoolgirl also appears on Pierre Bordelle's murals on many of the buildings for the Texas Centennial Exposition that opened in Dallas on June 6, 1936.
