This short film is sure to get you right in the feels. It’s a brilliant short film brought to life by third year CalArts student John Cody Kim called Steadfast Stanley. In the middle of a zombie apocalypse, a loyal Corgi just wants to reunite with the boy he loves. I’ve watched it three times already and I can’t help but with this was a 90-minute feature. No dialogue, just a Corgi trying to get to his master. John, if you’re reading this, can we make it happen?
The animation is reminiscent of the great Sylvain Chomet (The Triplets of Belleville), that it’s wonderful and richly detailed. There are a lot of little touches with the Corgi, his little quirks remind me a lot of my own dogs. Enjoy this one folks!

John Cody had a strange run on "Survivor: Blood vs. Water." For several days, he was in a position of strength, at the center of a seemingly powerful all-male alliance and holding the only available clues to a Hidden Immunity Idol, courtesy of wife Candice's success at Redemption Island. That meant that John and Candice had a quality two days together on Redemption before she went home, followed fittingly by Brad. John, in fact,...

This season also features the return of Redemption Island, where one castaway will eventually have the chance to return to the game. The twist this year, however, is that loved ones can choose to "save" their partner on Redemption Island and switch places with them, thus allowing the exiled loved one to immediately re-enter the game. Interesting.
The producers really did their work on this cast -- there are some beloved faces returning, including Rupert Boneham (fourth time!), Gervase Peterson from the first season, and apparently Kat Edorsson is dating "Big Brother" winner Hayden Moss.

Jeff Probst already announced on Entertainment Weekly Radio that the next season of Survivor — subtitled Blood vs. Water — would feature returning Survivor contestants playing with (or, rather, against) their loved ones. Then, yesterday we revealed that one of those pairs would be Survivor: One World’s Kat Edorsson and her boyfriend, Big Brother season 12 winner Hayden Moss. Now the rest of the cast can be officially unveiled. And that cast will be playing in the most twist-heavy Survivor season ever.
