Jimmy Kimmel had Seth Meyers on his show last month, and now Meyers is repaying the favor.
For the first time ever, Jimmy Kimmel will appear as a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers next Monday, May 13th.
Kimmel has plenty of projects to promote. In addition to Jimmy Kimmel Live, he’s an executive producer on the Hulu reality series High Times, and he’ll host the newly revived celebrity primetime edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire this summer.
Plus, with Kimmel’s recent mention in former President Donald Trump’s ongoing criminal trial, one imagines the two will have a lot to talk about.
The pair appearing on each other’s shows comes after last year’s Strike Force Five podcast solidified bonds between each of the five major late-night hosts: Kimmel, Meyers, John Oliver, Jimmy Fallon, and Stephen Colbert.

Josh Charles thought Ethan Hawke was punking him when he told him about appearing in Taylor Swift’s new music video.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Dead Poets Society star reflected on his surprise role in Swift’s “Fortnight” music video, the first single of her recent album, The Tortured Poets Department.
“It was a really strange thing. Taylor knows Ethan’s daughter Maya and reached out to her. The title of the album, [is] obviously The Tortured Poets Department, and so I think it’s a little tip of the cap to Dead Poets Society, other tortured poets. She probably had this idea [that] it’d be interesting for us to be in the video,” Charles told Fallon of how his and Hawke’s appearances came to be.

Hugh Jackman’s portrayal as the iconic X-Men character has only aged like fine wine over the past two decades. The actor, who has been playing the character throughout his Hollywood career, is once again set to embody the fierce mutant in the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine and he looks even more remarkable donning the classic Wolverine look on-screen. However, transforming himself into the character has definitely not been an easy feat for the actor.

He has consistently maintained his physique with extreme workouts and strict diet plans, a dedication that also extended to the Deadpool threequel. Fans, who have witnessed the actor’s unwavering commitment to bringing the best possible version of the superhero, are shocked by his ability to keep up with the demanding standards that come with the role for over two decades.

The Despicable Me movies always do very well at the box office (even if the reviews haven't remained quite as positive), so it came as no surprise that a fourth instalment in Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's animated franchise was on the way, and a new trailer and poster have now been released.
Though Gru will appear, the Minions have really become the main focus of these movies, and there's plenty of fun to be had with the little yellow fellas in this latest teaser, which sees several "volunteers" transformed into super-powered Mega-Minions.
One gains stretchy abilities like Mr. Fantastic, another is a clear not to The Thing, and there's also a Minion with Cyclops-like optic blasts.
Check out the new trailer and poster below, and let us know if you plan on catching this one on the big screen.

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have released the final trailer (we think?) for the latest entry in the Despicable Me series, Despicable Me 4, premiering in July.
With the release of The Fall Guy last week, summer blockbuster season has officially arrived, which means lots of eyes are looking at the year’s biggest and splashiest projects and watching how they perform commercially. One such set of eyes will be those of Universal Pictures, who will be keen to retain its crown as the studio that grossed the most money last year and as such, the performance of its biggest movies will play a key role.
Whilst the jury is still out on whether The Fall Guy will be numbered among its successes, hopes will be high that Despicable Me 4 – set to release in July – will be a strong addition to Universal’s balance sheet. After all, 2022’s Minions: The Rise of Gru...

Ethan Hawke took a moment to recount how he ended up in Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” music video.
The Wildcat director stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to promote the film, which stars his daughter, Maya Hawke. Ahead of their conversation about the project, the late night host asked Hawke about his experience working on the music video alongside his Dead Poets Society co-star and lifelong friend, Josh Charles.
“Well, Stephen, I’m very popular. People seek me out. It just happens,” the multihyphenate joked to Stephen Colbert, before adding, “We got this call: ‘Taylor’s releasing an album, The Tortured Poets Department. And I think she wanted to hide a little easter egg about Dead Poets Society in it.”
He recalled walking through the airport with Charles and seeing all the young people wearing Swift’s Eras Tour merchandise and thinking, “We’ve got something on them.

Laura Linney has everything going for her. She has an incredible career that spans television, film, and theatre, she has a beautiful family and is aging like fine wine. I mean, can you even tell that she is sixty? She has a ton of prestigious awards to her name including two Golden Globe awards and 4 Primetime Emmy awards. Needless to say, she is one of the finest actresses in today’s time.
Laura Linney in Ozark
However, there was a point in her life when Laura Linney believed that her career was nearing its end. This happened when she was a part of a production of The Seagull at the Lyceum Theater. While the play is a classic, the production was horrible and Laura Linney knew it all too well. While recalling her time in the Broadway play, the actress revealed how she actually ended up trauma bonding with co-actor Ethan Hawke.

Paramount Advertising President John Halley was preparing to preside over an upfront pitch to Publicis, one of the four major holding companies in the ad business, when big news crossed the wire.

From engaging in an X pat with Lil Nas X to calling out Drake, Baby Storme has been making waves all week and has recently labeled herself as an ex-best friend to Ice Spice. In her recent series of tweets, she took shots at Nicki Minaj after leaking an alleged exchange between her and Spice.
The alleged texts from Spice branded Minaj as ungrateful and delusional, claiming that she invited Minaj to collaborate on the title track for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. But according to the producers of the Barbie album, this doesn’t seem to be the case.

Rainn Wilson: “I hope people cool it with” One The Office Prank That Immortalized Jim-Dwight Rivalry
Rainn Wilson is widely known for his role as Dwight Schrute on the NBC sitcom The Office. He is one of the popular characters in the American sitcom, particularly due to his rivalry with his co-worker, Jim Halpert (played by John Krasinski).

During the entire run, it was clear that the characters didn’t get along, particularly due to the latter pulling pranks on the former. Although the show has long concluded, Wilson is still stuck with these antics and recently expressed on getting closure from the pranks. His statement comes shortly after he got pranked during his Florence trip.

Stephen Colbert isn’t laying off when it comes to Kristi Noem, the U.S. governor and vice president hopeful who’s currently under fire for shooting one of her dogs and a goat. However, the CBS host is at least going to pretend to be conflicted about it.
“We here at team ‘Late Show’ have been following the tragic career suicide of South Dakota governor and Talbots mannequin you swear just blinked, Kristi Noem,” Colbert said Thursday night. Noem’s name earned a chorus of boos from the in-studio audience. “I’ll be honest, I was conflicted about whether or not I should keep talking about it because, unlike Kristi Noem, I don’t like beating a dead horse.”
Colbert then played a clip of Noem on Fox News clarifying that the dog wasn’t a puppy, but a “working dog.”
“That’s right, an important distinction. It was a working dog.

Missed Tuesday’s late-night monologues? We’ve got you covered with our round-up of the night’s best laughs from across the dial.
The Defense Rests
After a day off, Donald Trump’s election fraud/hush money trial was back in session on Thursday. That meant plenty more ammo for late-night hosts, especially since Trumps’ presence in the New York courtroom entails everything from tiny crowds of supporters (literally one lady showed up today), frequent in-session naps, and the occasional toilet humor-derived insulting nickname read out in front of a helplessly scowling (or snoring) Trump.
It’s no secret at this point that all the major hosts are no fans of the former President/current defendant, with Stephen Colbert going out of his way to contrast a lovely May day with his frequent target’s daily legal routine. “It was a beautiful Spring day here in New York City. 10 out...

Something awkward happened to Anne Hathaway during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week!
The Oscar-winning actress was on the show to promote her new movie The Idea of You, which is based on a book of the same name.
The Idea of You tells the story of a 40-year-old single mom who starts a romance with the 24-year-old lead singer of a popular boy band.
Anne decided to ask the audience if anyone has read the book… and the audience wasn’t responsive at all.
Keep reading to find out more…
Jimmy hilariously responded, “No, we don’t read. This is The Tonight Show. You want to go to Stephen Colbert if you want to get people to read books. Lame! We do Audible here.”

If you watched The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Wednesday night, you may have noticed the dome of the Ed Sullivan Theatre adorned with images of several dozen people, and wondered (to borrow a phrase from another favorite late-night show): “What up with that”?
The show was celebrating the start of Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month in partnership with the Asian American and Pacific Islander cultural collective Gold House. Those faces encircling the dome were all honorees on this year’s A100 list, which recognizes Asian Pacific leaders who have impacted American culture and society in the last year
Among the biggest names on this year’s A100 are Dev Patel, Keanu Reeves, Charli Xcx, Steve Aoki, and Celine Song.

Of President Joe Biden’s myriad quips and Dad joke-level zingers at Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner — including around the thorny issue of his age and aimed at former President Donald Trump — one joke, in particular, referenced a notable, recent move by his campaign.
Speaking to a crowd of media figures, A-list celebrities and Beltway power brokers who’d just wrapped up their dinner, Biden started serving up one punchline after another. About halfway through his tight 15, the president referred to his recent sitdown with talk radio host Howard Stern.
“I have higher standards,” Biden said from the podium. “I do interviews with strong independent journalists who millions of people actually listen to…like Howard Stern.”
Goofing on Stern’s journalistic credibility landed with the audience, which, despite the spectacle of the star-studded event, is meant to honor the bravery, tenacity and grit of some of the best reporters in the nation.

“Saturday Night Live” comedian Colin Jost delivered a mixed bag of Trump zingers, media jokes and Biden age wisecracks in front of a demanding crowd Saturday at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, but it took him until the last of his remarks to fully charm the assemblage of journalists and politicos who came to hear him roast the President and the Washington press corps.
Jost finished his remarks by telling President Joe Biden about his 95-year-old grandfather, a longtime fireman in Staten Island, N.Y, who voted Democrat in the 2020 presidential election even though that borough of New York City is known to favor Republicans.
“He voted for you, and the reason that he voted for you is because you’re a decent man,” Jost told Biden. “My grandpa voted for decency and decency is why we’re all here tonight.

A slew of late-night hosts are finally turning the lights back on this week after some Pto. Meanwhile, three of the last shows standing last week are going dark.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be back with new episodes as well. Kimmel has pumped out new episodes all April long, but was off Thursday night for the NFL draft.
Saturday Night Live is also back later this week with host and musical guest Dua Lipa, after taking two weeks off.
As each of these programs return, three of the shows that have been holding down the fort are going on break themselves.

Even amidst the glitz and glamour of the silver screen, the names people have come to adore aren’t always as genuine as they seem. For actors like Emma Stone and Michael Keaton, adopting stage names was a strategic move, whether to avoid confusion or create a memorable persona. However, Emma Stone recently revealed a surprising truth. Despite the fame attached to her moniker, she’s grown tired of being referred to as “Emma.”
Emma Stone in Poor Things.
Emma Stone Is No Longer Fond of Her Stage Name!
Before Emma Stone dazzled audiences on the big screen, she faced the challenge of sharing a name with another star in the entertainment industry called Emily. Thus, she opted for a stage name to stand out. Initially, Stone embraced her new identity with enthusiasm, rather eager to get rid of her original name.

Watch most comedians long enough and you’ll start to hear the same stories. But watch Stephen Colbert long enough and you’ll always find he has a new reason for audiences to fall in love with his wife, Evie.
On Sunday, April 21 at The Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, “The Late Show” host and Ben Schwartz closed out PaleyFest LA 2024 with a wide-ranging and goofy Q&a that included Colbert retelling some of his career-best stories while gently negging his interviewer’s questioning style.
“I will tell you a question I have been asked before,” Colbert quipped, turning Schwartz’ first prompt back on the actor in a good nature. “It’s ‘What’s a question you haven’t been asked before?'”
“And Ok, we’re going to the next question, you guys!,” Schwartz said with a laugh.

Jo Ann Ross, the first woman to run a broadcast TV network’s ad-sales efforts and one of the last senior ad-sales executives in the TV industry to hold direct relationships with advertisers when primetime broadcast programs were seen as the primary venue for Madison Avenue’s dollars, is leaving the industry, stepping down from her role as chairman of Paramount Global’s ad sales division at the end of April.
Ross had already stepped back from day to day duties, ceding that role to John Halley, who was named president of ad sales for the company in 2022. But her relationships with key sponsors were seen as valuable, as were the ties many of her senior executives had with media agencies and marketing executives. She has stayed on at Paramount in a key advisory role.

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is easily one of the best physiques that the world of entertainment has witnessed. While many actors have bulked up for their roles, Jackman’s dedication has been more remarkable due to his growing age with each successive appearance. Having portrayed the character for more than 20 years now, Jackman looks magnificent in the latest trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, to say the least.
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in X-Men: The Last Stand
Yet, there have been some trolls who cannot believe that the actor is as jacked as he looks, leading to the impression that he might be wearing fake muscles (!?). Coming to his defense is the Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, who recently tweeted that the muscles are one hundred percent real and that he had touched them.

Stephen Colbert closed out Los Angeles’ annual PaleyFest TV festival Sunday afternoon, as he sat down for a conversation with comedian Ben Schwartz about his career and time at The Late Show desk.
During the wide-ranging chat inside the Dolby Theatre — which ranged from Colbert’s start in Chicago’s improv scene to his stint as a Sunday school teacher and his love of fantasy films — Schwartz asked the host if he would ever want to return to acting, for which he went to school.
“I was purely acting up until I had The Late Show,” Colbert recalled, as he had been in character on The Colbert Report and The Daily Show. “One of the weirdest things about taking the job is my manager, James ‘Babydoll’ Dixon, when he said, ‘Hey, it’s you.’ And I went, ‘Me?’ And he said, ‘Yeah, do you want to do it?’ And I’m like,...
