- She was co-recipient of the Queen's Jubilee Award in 2002. A one-off award given by the Queen in celebration of her 50 year reign was given at The Royal Academy to her and Dan Crawford for pursuit of excellence and contribution to the arts in the field of directing. The award was presented by Lord Attenborough and the Queen.
- She is Associate Artistic Director of the internationally known Kings Head Theatre, London where Hugh Grant, Richard E. Grant, Rupert Graves and many others began their careers. Her film company, Dragonfly Films, is based in the theatre.
