Linda Nolan has described her fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate Jim Davidson as "confrontational".
The singer visited the Diary Room to discuss her theory that the comedian changes when he has been drinking.
She told Big Brother: "I've just came up to tell you that I was right. Jim has had a drink and has become not very nice.
"That was my point. Lovely when he's sober, making the effort and then tonight he has a few drinks and just becomes very confrontational."
Linda - who has been open about her dislike of Jim while in the house - said that the former Generation Game presenter made people feel stupid.
She added: "You can't have an opinion unless it agrees with him, otherwise you know you're stupid and he walks away from it, he won't discuss it. You know he makes you feel stupid, he's just not very nice."

Celebrity Big Brother stars Luisa Zissman and Dappy have been involved in an explosive argument.
Luisa objected when the rapper seemingly suggested that it was more acceptable for a man to sleep with multiple women than for a woman to sleep with multiple men.
Luisa accused Dappy of sounding like he was from the 1950s, with Jasmine Waltz adding: "It's not about what's worse or better, it's both gross."
Explaining why she was offended by Dappy's remarks, Jasmine continued: "It's an opinion and it's a really controversial one.
"What you're saying is that you guys are exempt from doing piggish things but we have to act a certain way - and that's being a bigot. That's literally saying that men are better than women."
Luisa went on to brand Dappy a "sexist, chauvinistic bigot" and added: "Your mum should be absolutely disgusted with your attitude towards women and I...

Celebrity Big Brother contestants Luisa Zissman and Dappy have clashed over the N-Dubz rapper's sleeping habits.
The row began after the former Apprentice star accused Dappy of spending too much time in bed.
Dappy didn't take kindly to Luisa's comments, branding her argumentative and telling her that the housemates would likely nominate the contestants who argue the most.
The 26-year-old then repeated the comments regarding Luisa and nominations during a conversation with Jasmine Waltz.
Following the disagreement, Dappy told Luisa he felt she had "violated" him with her accusations, in response to which the entrepreneur urged him not to be scared to "speak out".
Dappy replied: "But you speak out too quick, you point the finger and you are fiery, you point out and why don't you just hold that back."
Luisa answered: "Because that's not me, you are who you are and I am who I am.

This series of Celebrity Big Brother - it's fair to say - has been something of a triumph. A strong line-up, plenty of booze and a genuinely interesting love triangle (who knew Lee Ryan was such a dog?) have contributed to episodes that have honestly counted as must-see TV (and have provided plenty of watercooler moments, too).
The show's producers must be giggling with delight after the success of the show, which critics are saying is the best series for ages (it helps that there have been horny housemates, Jim Davidson putting everyone off omelettes for life and Evander Holyfield dancing to 'Men in Black').
But that doesn't mean we can't have our niggles, and so when Big Brother announced earlier this week that there would be a fake eviction and a secret house, it's fair to say that groans echoed around our living room.

Celebrity Big Brother stars Jim Davidson and Lee Ryan have bonded over their shared bafflement about women.
The conversation began as Lee confided in Jim about his love triangle with Casey Batchelor and Jasmine Waltz, which has caused controversy among the housemates.
"Don't worry too much about it all," Jim advised, as Lee agreed that he had decided not to let the situation "beat" him.
"You know, they're emotional creatures, women," he mused.
Jim joked that he had "never noticed" as Lee quipped: "I think I'm preaching to the choir there, aren't I?"

Lee Ryan and Jasmine Waltz caused a stir in the Celebrity Big Brother house after they disappeared into the bathroom together last night (January 8).

Lee then made a speedy escape to the loo, followed swiftly by Jasmine.

Earlier on in the house, Lee had admitted to a crush on Jasmine, despite spending most of the week snogging and flirting with Casey Batchelor.

As part of the latest UFO shopping task, the 60-year-old had to visit the alien spaceship for dinner and avoid offending his hosts while eating a disgusting 'alien head'.
The head featured various 'delicacies', with the 'alien brain' consisting of pig brain and the 'alien eyes' actually being boiled pig eyes.
Davidson also had to pull out the head's tongue and squeeze it to reveal a pus - dyed fermented stinky tofu - which he then had to eat.
The meal was completed with the head's ear wax - which was actually dyed sticky Japanese Nato beans.
The challenge eventually became too much for Jim, who ended up being sick in the garden as Blue star Lee Ryan watched on.

One member of each pair was blindfolded and given earphones, while their partner was asked to predict how the other would honestly answer a series of quick-fire questions.
The process was then reversed, with Sam and Jasmine scoring the most correct matches when the answers were revealed.
Jim, Linda, Sam and Jasmine not only earned their freedom from their handcuffs, but have also been granted immunity from the first eviction.
Dappy and Liz Jones were announced during Friday's...

Celebrity Big Brother housemate Lionel Blair was upset by Jasmine Waltz's behaviour during their first night together in the house.
As Jasmine rolled around the floor while handcuffed to Sam Faiers, Lionel described his housemate's behaviour as "awful" to Ollie Locke.
Lionel said that while Jasmine was "silly, funny" and "nice", he hoped somebody like Linda Nolan would have a word with her.
The showbiz veteran also criticised Jasmine's acting career, describing it as a "load of bollocks".
Celebrity Big Brother launched to more than 3 million viewers on Channel 5 last night (January 3).
Housemates include Jim Davidson, Lee Ryan, Luisa Zissman, Casey Batchelor and Evander Holyfield. Dappy and Liz Jones will face the public vote on Wednesday.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight (January 4) at 10pm on Channel 5.

Dappy and Liz Jones face eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house after tonight's launch show.
The duo were put in jeopardy by an unwitting Jim Davidson and Linda Nolan as part of the handcuff twist.
Davidson and Nolan, who entered the house first, were given the option of uncuffing one pair of housemates after meeting everyone.
They eventually chose to grant freedom to Dappy and Jones because they seemed "stressed", but were surprised to find out that it meant that the duo now face the first eviction on Wednesday.
Two more pairs of housemates will also join them in facing eviction from Monday.
The other celebrity duos who entered the house tonight are Sam Faiers and Jasmine Waltz, Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor, Ollie Locke and Lionel Blair, and Luisa Zissman and Evander Holyfield.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow (January 4) at 10pm on Channel 5.

Jim Davidson has been given the green light to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'. The comedian will appear in the upcoming series of the reality TV show after being cleared of historic sex offences yesterday (17.12.13), and hopes the Channel 5 programme will help restore his reputation. A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''He was very keen on becoming a housemate the first time round so he's pleased that he can now look forward to that opportunity.'' Jim was investigated by officers from Operation Yewtree and was later arrested in March over a separate incident in the Falklands in the 1980s. When it...

Holly Willoughby has predicted that Katie Hopkins will "cause fireworks" and "get people furious" if she enters the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Willoughby famously snapped at Hopkins during the former Apprentice star's infamous tirade against 'lower class' children's names on This Morning earlier this year.
Asked by Digital Spy about reports of Hopkins entering the CBB house in January, Willoughby replied: "I'm sure she'll go in there and cause fireworks.
"Good housemates are people who get people furious, so I imagine that's exactly what she'll do. She tends to do that everywhere else, so [she'll] probably [be good]."
When quizzed at The Sun Military Awards on the petition to get Hopkins axed from her semi-regular slot on This Morning, Willoughby pointed out that the reality star "hasn't been on for a very long time" and is "only booked if she's relevant for an item".

In a world where job pressures lead to ulcers, and the general stress of life makes even the most virile of men’s hair fall out in clumps, it is becoming increasingly important for men to reclaim their right to relaxation.
Everyone who saw Big back in the 80s knows the distinct and exquisite pleasure of a fantasy that involves a man-cave style apartment, decked from floor to ceiling in gadgets, games and toys for the inner child, without the mundane distractions of every day life like ironing boards and pot pouri.
And thanks to a thankfully strong trend in interior decorating, there are now infinite opportunities for those aspirational men and their entertainment machines to claim their own little patch of home and transform it into the man-cave of their dreams.
With that in mind, we’ve teamed up with Home Leisure Direct to compile the five must-have items...

When Simon Pegg started out he had no plans to become a movie star. In fact he had no plans at all. So just how did the geek from Gloucester catch the eye of the world's best filmmakers? It's all down to "quantum attraction"
Piers Morgan used to say of the actor Nicholas Lyndhurst that he may have been incredibly famous – this was back when Lyndhurst was an on-screen ubiquity as Rodney Trotter, as a time-traveller in Goodnight Sweetheart and an occasional cross-dresser in adverts for Smiths – but how much did anybody know about his private life?
There were no nightclub ejections or illicit affairs, to anyone's knowledge, really no Lyndhurst-based muck at all, and Morgan's point was that privacy could be pretty well maintained by the famous if the famous really wanted it. It is tempting to wonder if we have a present-day equivalent – whether such a thing is...

The Horde is the latest in a long, shambling line of zombie horror movies, this time hailing from France. Here’s Duncan’s review...
My love for the walking dead has been severely tested in the last decade. Ever since I first saw Michael Jackson's Thriller video as a child, I've been obsessed with zombies, an addiction which was fed solidly during the eighties as I discovered Romero's classic (then) trilogy, The Living Dead films, Night Of The Creeps and more.
For years I always hoped there would be a resurgence in zombie movies, which, in turn, would prove my theory that it would be a cheap and easy way to make British films, gaining our film industry the attention that it was so lacking since the collapse of Hammer horror. However, when I finally got my wish, everything went slightly wrong.

The Celestial Toymaker is the first Doctor Who story to take a weird and wonderful trip into the surreal. This tale plucks all the elements of childhood playtime and adds its own slightly twisted take. We get games of Blind Man’s Buff, Hopscotch and Statues: Remember playing those as naïve young innocents at birthday parties? The worst that would have happened would have been the customary spoilt brat trying to get his or her own way, resulting in said brat getting their head shoved into the birthday cake.
Well, that’s how I dealt with birthday party killjoy brats, anyway.
In The Celestial Toymaker, though, you’re playing for your life. A simple mistake in Hopscotch or Blind Man’s Buff means that you end up deader than a Jim Davidson joke being told at the Women‘s Institute Christmas Party. This is all down to the eponymous Toymaker,...

It is a blush-making compliment that this extraordinary film director chooses to make his home in London
Phil Collins, Jim Davidson, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Paul Daniels. Names crying out for the prefix "Come my revolution", yes – but also the roster of entertainers who threatened to leave Britain should Labour win the 1997 election. Lloyd Webber now denies the ultimatum, as well he might with the BBC gifting him an annual 10-week advert for his musicals; but you will agree it takes a certain type to regard the withholding of their very presence from a sovereign state as some kind of vote-swinger. Britain: a place so hideous that even Jim Davidson doesn't want to live here.
Faced with such privations, then, it can be easy to forget that extraordinary and marvellous outsiders do make the decision to settle on our shores. It's not a one-in-one-out policy, obviously, but as Tim Burton's...

Part 6: From Vampire Weekend to Z-list
Vampire Weekend
NYC's finest return with added bounce
For New York's Class Of 2008, 2010 is sophomore year. First out of the box are Vampire Weekend who release their new album in January. The buzzy Contra sounds a lot like their debut but with added exclamation marks; Auto-Tune bunches up with Operation Ivy-type ska and Kalimba thumb piano fondles Blue Nile-like ballads. Meanwhile Brooklyn's Yeasayer will release Odd Blood in February. And despite being recorded in Woodstock, the former faux-mystics have traded their moccasins for some marimba, 80s synths and epic choruses. Mgmt on the other hand have been recording their new album, Congratulations, in Malibu, so we can look forward to some sun-soaked new millennium anthems. If the guest stars are any indication (former Royal Trux shouter Jennifer Herrema and Pete Kember, Aka ex-Spacemen 3 man Sonic Boom) there'll be a dark underbelly to proceedings,...

Lucy Benjamin has claimed that she hopes to "find inner strength" during her stint on I'm A Celebrity.... The former EastEnders actress, who counts Anthony Cotton and Jim Davidson among her celebrity supporters, said that she wants to see how far she is willing to go in the bushtucker trials. "I want to see how far I can push myself in terms of the kind of place you find yourself in mentally and seeing if I can go through with the bushtucker trials and living with complete strangers without it sending you over the edge," she said. "I am hoping that I will find some inner strength when I am out there, but right now, there is a lot of fear." Benjamin, who has phobias about flying insects, birds, butterflies and moths, confessed that her biggest fear is being away from her daughter Bessie for such a long time. "Three...
