Former "Sons of Anarchy" regular Johnny Lewis was not under the influence at the time of his death in late September, the Los Angeles County coroner says.
An autopsy report on Lewis, who died Sept. 26 after allegedly killing his 81-year-old landlady, says Lewis did not have drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of his death, according to the Los Angeles Times. It also says he wasn't trying to commit suicide when he jumped from the second story of his home.
The report says Lewis "jumped over a wrought iron railing at the top of the terrace to a driveway below during his attempt to flee the location" after allegedly killing Catherine Davis and her cat. Something altered his flight on the way down, however, and caused him to hit the driveway head-first.

The actor who once dated Katy was widely reported to have been on drugs when he killed his landlady and then himself but the toxicology report released on Nov. 29 reveals that was not the case. The events surrounding Johnny Lewis' suicide and murder of his landlord left many people very confused. The actor, who dated Katy Perry from 2005 - 2006, had just recently been released from jail. There were numerous reports that he had been on hallucinogenic drugs and medication during the tragic events on Sept. 26, but the toxicology report claims otherwise, how sad! Johnny's death has also been ruled an accident even though many thought he purposefully jumped off his roof. The autopsy found nail marks on his neck and that he had been "partially strangled" suggesting that the landlady Catherine Davis, 81, had attempted to fight back. But no cocaine, alcohol, or marijuana was found in his system. The...

While the circumstances surrounding the death of Johnny Lewis have caused a media frenzy, not much has been said about the elderly woman who was killed in the incident—Catherine Davis. In an editorial for Xo Jane, actor Taylor Negron, said Davis was a "Hollywood legend. A near saint. And a kind and loving mother to so many, including me." A Texas native, "Cathy," as Negron affectionately referred to her, was a writer and a reader who loved parties, and was working on her own historical biography on the life of Phoebe Apperson Hearst, William Randolph Hearst's mother, when she was murdered. Negron, known for his roles in The Last Boy Scout and The Hughleys, among other...
