- When working as a production assistant on the 1982 ABC-TV M.O.W., "Benny's Place", he was responsible, in-part, for star Lou Gossett, Jr.'s late arrival to set-call the-day-after-the-night-before, having provided the actor with "the recipe", that had been brewed by his moonshiner uncle, in woods 80 miles from set. Gossett, ever the gentleman and professional, stepped from his motor home, climbed atop a 12-step ladder belonging to the "Juicer's", and magnanimously publicly apologized to the entire crew while giving each crew-member a gift wrapped box that encased a silver-plated stylus ink pen from Tiffany & Co., NYC!
- Because he was not a member of I.A.T.S.E. at the time, he was denied tech-crew work on production of "The River" in 1984. He then secured interviews with the show's director, Mark Rydell, its star actor Mel Gibson, director of photography Vilmos Zsigmond, and location's manager Joe O'har. The results of his denial of employment by the production company led to his authorship and production photo-stills about the show which was published and released as the cover story for the February 1984 issue of "On Location Film & Videotape Production Magazine's".
