- Her only daughter, Amanda Kramer, is a a musician, singer and composer who plays keyboard in the music group, the Psychedelic Furs.
- On "The Red Buttons Show" she played the star's wife, but was dropped from the cast after she was accused of involvement with "subversive organizations" in an anti-communist publication. Her friend, actress Lee Grant, said it came about probably because Dennis "signed a few petitions".
