- Paul Dini is an American animator and writer known for his contributions to DC Comics, including Batman: The Animated Series, Gotham Girls and fan favorite character Harley Quinn. He also worked on Batman: Arkham Asylum and it's sequel Batman: Arkham City as well as a 2003 animated pilot based on Zatanna starring Tara Strong. - Perhaps famously known for creating the DC comics character, "Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel" aka Harley Quinn, for his friend, Arleen Sorkin. She made her first appearance in Batman: The Animated Series (1992) and was popular enough to be eventually inducted into the DC universe comic books in 1999.
- He is credited for turning "Mr. Freeze" into the popular character he is now, because of the Heart of Ice (1992) episode in Batman: The Animated Series (1992), which is often considered to be among the best of the series.
