In the early 1970s was the host of a popular all-night T.V. show in
which he ran old black and white films, and took phone calls from the
viewing audience.
Dixon had no children. He is survived by a brother, John, and sister, Vivian Valentine.
"I Dig Rock and Roll Music" is a song recorded in 1967 by the folk group Peter, Paul and Mary. The song is written in part by Dave Dixon, who was later a popular air personality on progressive rock radio station WABX in Detroit.
