Something of a specialist at re-scoring American movies for release in Italy, a practice that was often necessary to satisfy the demands of the Italian music unions. Ferri's re-scores included Bandit Queen (1950) originally scored by Albert Glasser, and A Life at Stake (1955) originally scored by Les Baxter.
