- Lew Fields was born on January 1, 1867 in New York City, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle (1939), The Barker (1917) and Mike and Meyer Go Fishing (1915). He was married to Rose Harris. He died on July 20, 1941 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

- Actor/manager, the son of Jewish immigrants. Had a comic German immigrant act with vaudeville partner Joe Weber. With Weber, Fields operated his own theatre in New York from the mid-1890's until 1918. He subsequently opened and managed another theatre well into the 1930's.
