King of the Hill fans were shocked to learn of the death of Johnny Hardwick last week. The actor was best known as the voice of Dale Gribble, Hank Hill’s conspiracy-obsessed neighbour on the animated series. When it was officially announced that Hulu had ordered a King of the Hill revival earlier this year, Johnny Hardwick was expected to return, but did he actually get the chance to record any episodes before his death?
According to TVLine, Johnny Hardwick had completed work on “a couple” episodes of the King of the Hill revival. Hopefully this means that we’ll get to hear the actor’s pitch-perfect take on Dale Gribble just one more time. As far as the rest of the episodes of the revival go, it’s not certain if someone else will take over as the voice of Dale or if they’ll retire the character.

Johnny Hardwick completed work on “a couple” episodes of Hulu’s forthcoming King of the Hill revival prior to his death earlier this month, TVLine has learned.
Hardwick voiced Hank’s bestie/neighbor, the chain-smoking, conspiracy-obsessed bug exterminator Dale Gribble in all 258 episodes of the erstwhile Fox series. It remains unclear if another actor will be brought in to finish what Hardwick started in the revival, which is slated to bow in 2024.

Philip Baker Hall put his stamp (yes, pun intended) on Seinfeld in 1991, cementing his spot as arguably the greatest one-time guest to drop by the iconic NBC sitcom.
The film and television actor whose career spanned decades died Sunday. He was 90.
Hall stole the show when he played library investigations officer Lt. Joe Bookman in the season three episode “The Library.”
Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) learns that the copy of Tropic of Cancer he checked out from the New York Public Library in 1971 was never returned, and he has a fine on the books. The case is turned over to Lt. Bookman, who Hall plays perfectly as a Sgt. Joe Friday-type from the police series, Dragnet.
Hall appears in three different scenes in the episode, but the first is a Seinfeld classic. Lt. Bookman pays a visit to Jerry’s apartment, where the...

A Utah mom of quadruplets has gone viral for sharing a hilarious moment of mom truth on Facebook.
“Dad’s out shoveling the driveway and mom desperately needed a treat to get through the rest of the night,” Ashley Gardner says in the video she shared on her family’s Facebook page Tuesday. “So I’m hiding in the pantry eating a treat. Is that wrong?”
“They don’t ever go away,” Gardner continues to explain while snacking on a piece of candy as the sounds of her four daughters can be heard just outside the pantry door. “They want everything you have.

Last week, we reported that Fox's venerable TV show, King of the Hill, had been cancelled after 13 seasons. The animated series has slipped in the ratings and the network has other animated series like Mitch Hurwitz's Sit Down, Shut Up and Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show waiting in the wings. In what seems to becoming a growing trend of TV shows jumping networks, the Mike Judge co-created King may find life on another channel.
King debuted in 1997 and tells the story of blue-collar Hank Hill and his family and friends from Texas. The series stars the vocal talents of cancelled TV show veterans like Judge (Beavis and Butt-head), Kathy Najimy (Veronica's Closet), Pamela Adlon (Lucky Louie), Stephen Root (NewsRadio), Brittany Murphy (Sister, Sister), Toby Huss (Carnivale), David Herman (Futurama), Ashley Gardner (The Drew Carey Show), and Lauren Tom (Men in Trees).
